Russ my tattoo artist was amazing and sooo friendly. I love my tattoo. The customer service in the front (lari I think his name was ) was sooo off putting, I almost left. How they mocked Jesus by putting all his figures in the bathroom with the sign "I pissed with Jesus" was disgusting. Again, Russ was amazing.... everything else was not. German is a great tattoo artist and is very friendly! However, the man that sits at the main entrance is disgustingly rude and made me not ever want to come back here. I love the work of the artists, but in order for someone to want to come back, you need to have good customer service! I don't care how good your tattoos are, if you are unnecessarily rude to customers, I highly doubt you'll get good business. Something you really need to work on. Read Less

I got my very first tattoo in March this year.  I had had something in mind and sent an idea through email.  When I arrived at the gallery, Cat had drawn a picture of how she interpreted my email.  The drawing was exactly what I wanted.  I couldn't believe how she got it so right!  The tattoo is in remembrance of my father and brings me joy every day.  I get compliments almost daily and I get to tell the story behind the ink and in telling the story, I keep my father's spirit alive.   My daughter got her first tattoo as well!  Wonderful day!  Cat was amazing!  Ready to go back for seconds in next few weeks! My sister and I planned tattoos for over a month. We made an appointment and couldn't wait to go in!!! The morning of our tattoos, I received a text from Lari apologizing that our artist wasn't going to make it in time because his flight was delayed. This was disappointing, but out of anyone's control. I asked Lari if he had someone else that could fit us in because my sister came from out of town and we had this planned as our day. I sent Lari the photos of what we planned... and he suggested Eddie Shaw. We couldn't have been happier with the service Eddie provided. He took his time, listened to what we wanted and made sure everything was just right. Where do I start? Well first, I am a tattoo novice. My only experience was a very small 5 minute tattoo that I got with some friends. This time around I wanted something way more complex. I gave my artist Eddie a bunch of ideas-heart, cat paw print, rainbow colors, name, infinity symbol and we worked all of those ideas into a beautiful piece of art. I went about a year ago to get a signature and they got me in and out which I appreciated. I like the clean shop. I prefer another local one but would still recommend this place. I like I don't have to wait a month to get in. The staff is friendly. I plan on getting a simple piece this week and appreciate they give quotes. Walked in the other day for a small tattoo on my ankle. Was my first time getting a tattoo and I was pretty nervous! The staff were very friendly and professional. They worked with me and listened to what I wanted. The gallery is also very clean and professional. I drove three hours from NYC to get a tattoo here and it was worth the trip. Blaze Schwaller, owner does original work only as does the other tattoo artist who works with her. Blaze, the owner, drew up a sample of the tattoo based on information I had shared with her over the phone. There weren't many changes to be made, but I was able to work the design back and forth via email until I was happy.Spirit Gallery is clean, professional, and welcoming. One thing I look for in a tattoo studio is cleanliness and a doctor's office feel, which is the feeling I got from this location. Blaze also has many of her framed original artwork hanging on her walls, creating a gallery feel.The tattoo experience was very enjoyable...Blaze was very professional and made sure I was comfortable as she explained what she was doing as my tattoo was on my back and I couldn't see.
