My experience at Inksplosive was excellent! I have always wanted to get my nose pierced but I continued to procrastinate until one day I did my research of great tattoo parlors around my area that were safe and clean. I immediately called Inksplosive and asked for the price of what I wanted in order to get an idea of the price range. I was told that prices cannot be given over the phone due to the fact that a customer should never make their decision of getting a tattoo or piercing over the cost. This is very true and have never thought of it in that way. Therefore, I went in with my mom the next day to ask in person. I was greeted very kindly and advised of the licensery of the parlor. It really proved how professional they are! About 2 weeks later I've finally came to the deciosion to get my nose pierced. I didn't make an appt and had to wait for the owner to arrive (since he is in on-call) but he was very fast (took no more than 15 mins for him to arrive to the parlor) and the tattoo artist kept my mom and I company. Fast forward, during the time of the actual piercing the owner talked to me and made me feel very comfortable. He sterilized his tools! Went in to get my nose pierced. I didn't have an appointment and Al was booked up until close. Al was nice enough to tell me to come in before close to do it. He was very straight forward about the piercing process and what the tools were for. He educated me about Spore Tests so I can be safer when getting any piercing in the future. Went with my sister other day and we both got our nose pierced. Owner did the piercings and he explained everything in detail and was thorough about aftercare. The piercer is on- call. So expect to be there 15 min waiting for him. Prices are not discussed over the phone but they are reasonable. Al was very professional and informative. The shop was cluttered but all piercing equipment was sealed and opened upon use. After care instructions were clear and my nostril piercing looks great. - Best place to go. The owner and his coworkers are very pleasant to speak to on the phone, and even better to get service from them in person. I got both of my traguses pierced and I don't regret it at all. Very polite, experienced, informative, and just plain nice. The experience was very calm and encouraging to come back for another piercing or a tattoo. Would recommend to anyone especially a first timer for a unique piercing or first tattoo. Inksplosive is terrible. Didn't even get a chance to see if they were good at what they do because the guy was just so rude to me that I didn't even stay. I went in to get my nose stud changed and he turned it into a huge fiasco. He said I was stupid for getting my nose pierced where I did and refused to use the jewelry I brought so he could charge me for his low-quality jewelry. He was absolutely rude from the moment I walked in. No wonder he was spending the first ten minutes I walked in there arguing with someone about money troubles. Never again! Read Less
