I love this shop so much! It’s always clean and friendly! I don’t know if I’ve met everyone yet but the few that I have met have been so kind and creative and knowledgeable about what they do. It makes me feel comfortable being there and all the work is amazing. I’ve gotten tattoos with Erica and she is just such an amazing thoughtful person. She takes pride in her work and it shows. Absolutely loved the studio! Beautiful, clean, and calming atmosphere. The staff was extremely personable and friendly; not to mention the artists are amazing! They really take their time to plan out and give you the exact tattoo you wanted or better! What an amazing experience! My childhood friend Erica worked her magic and created an amazing cover up piece over an existing small tattoo. I couldn't be more pleased with the completed work. The shop is clean and inviting. The other artists in the shop were friendly and helpful as well. Even the fellow clients were friendly! Before getting this tattoo I had a lot of questions. I was told by other tattoo artists from other tattoo shops that color spreads and color won't last when doing thin lines. I wanted a simple outline of a lotus. James from propaganda made me feel welcome and instantly trusted him. I'm a person who is very hesitant especially about tattoos. That same day we made an appointment and I left my deposit confident in my decision. I couldn't wait. Few days later I went in to get my tattoo. We discussed colors and I wanted a mix of burgundy and magenta. I was worried we wouldn't be able to find the color but James mixed the colors for me to make the perfect customized color I wanted. I was so happy. Took me a while to figure out where I wanted my tattoo but James was very patient with me and my indecisiveness. I felt so relaxed and at ease. I had 2 other tattoos done some where else and this experience has been way better than the others. I love all my tats but never did I bond and have good conversations with the artists and manager. Propaganda is a real welcoming place. The people are authentic, respectful and very chill. They don't sell themselves to be the best but I think they are the best so they don't need to flaunt it. After posting my tattoo and tagging James on my IG 4 people have commented saying they got work done by James and loved his work. One guy said "that's my homie" another girl said " he deals with my headaches"... I really wouldn't go anywhere else for a tattoo. Alin is an incredibly nice guy and takes real pride in everything he does. The studio is clean and neat, and not dark and creepy like so many other studios are. He make sure you get exactly what you want and patiently walks you through the design process, with the goal that you walk out of the place happy with your new piece of art. I just came here and received a tattoo this evening and can't tell you how happy I am for choosing this shop. James did my tattoo. I got a seashell on my back shoulder. Not only is the shop clean, professional and reasonably priced, it makes you feel very much at home. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful (I was pretty nervous). James couldn't have done a better job. He was gentle and precise with his work. I was very comfortable. It also helped that he has a great sense of humor. I can not wait to back for my next one! A friend of a friend came here a while back and I saw the pictures and fell in love. I live in California but came back to visit family here in CT and figured I might as well get a tattoo while I'm home. After searching around and remembering some of the artwork I saw before from Propaganda I knew that this was where I wanted and needed to go. Alin was my artist and I definitely made the right decision in come here. I honestly had one of the best experiences I've ever had getting a tattoo here. I've never been more satisfied and happy with the outcome. He was very friendly, helpful, and a joy to talk to since I had to sit for about an hour and a half (he even invited my girlfriend to join is meditation group). The shops a little tight but cozy, the other staff was friendly, and everything was clean and sterile. I'm actually going back in a week to have Alin fix another tattoo that I have that is blown-out and distorted. I recently got a tattoo done by Alin. Not only was he incredibly patient with me as I tried to decide where I wanted to put it, he offered his professional, and incredibly sound advice - without trying to pressure me. I originally wanted it on my foot, but because of my skin quality (poor - haha, this I knew!) it just wasn't a good place. It wound up on my inside right ankle, slightly angled and curved so it flows with my body. It's beautiful. I am incredibly happy with it, and should I decide to get another tattoo, and am in CT, I will definitely go there again. Read Less
