My tattooing experience is not very broad. Although I have six tattoos, I've only been to two shops. When I find an artist who does clean work that matches the vision of what I wanted why would I go anywhere else. At Goodspeed, George, Jeremy and Clarissa interact like you are visiting them at home. The decor of the shop is eclectic. The music is surprising. George has done 4 of my six tattoos. Once you develop a level of trust with an artist, getting ink done is much more enjoyable. On my most recent visit I brought my daughter for her first tattoo. Both of us are super happy with how the tattoos came out. Goodspeed is a great little local shop for getting your ink done. But a tattoo shop is not a salon or preschool. Be ready for the chaotic energy that goes with artists creating permanent pieces of art on people's bodies. I don't have plans for any new work, yet. But when I do, Goodspeed is where I will go.

The artist will probably stop halfway thru your tattoo to go get high. You can find much better places in CT. Don't go here

My daughter just got a tattoo here and they did a very nice job. It's a large sunflower on her thigh, and the color and detail is really nice. They seemed to do a good job of describing the proper aftercare, and so far it is healing nicely.

George really has a touch with kids as my daughter and mom had their ears pierced and my daughter is 3 years old. I thought she was going to bug out but shockingly she made it thru with a little whimper but no tears and all smiles after and during.... I would highly recommend George, and anyone at that, at the goodspeed tattoo because they are all so nice there... awesome job!!

Ive gotten two tattoos here. The first tattoo wasn't as bad as the second but with that being said, there are several lines that are uneven and blown out and areas of color that are uneven and unsatu...
Ive gotten two tattoos here. The first tattoo wasn't as bad as the second but with that being said, there are several lines that are uneven and blown out and areas of color that are uneven and unsaturated. My second tattoo was a black band around my forearm which, almost immediately, healed VERY poorly. There is scarring around most of the band and the lines are not straight. The staff were cool and nice and I saw some pretty good work done in portfolios. Perhaps, I was just unlucky, however, I will not be getting any additional ink here.

I have seen him twice in the last 2 months and plan on going once a month until my sleeve is done. I am a grandma and in my fifties. I am very happy with letting George take the reigns and creating his style about my grandkids and family. Can't wait to go back for more. Good job Georgi:):):)

My tattooing experience is not very broad. Although I have six tattoos, I've only been to two shops. When I find an artist who does clean work that matches the vision of what I wanted why would I go anywhere else. At Goodspeed, George, Jeremy and Clarissa interact like you are visiting them at home. The decor of the shop is eclectic. The music is surprising. George has done 4 of my six tattoos. Once you develop a level of trust with an artist, getting ink done is much more enjoyable. On my most recent visit I brought my daughter for her first tattoo. Both of us are super happy with how the tattoos came out. Goodspeed is a great little local shop for getting your ink done. But a tattoo shop is not a salon or preschool. Be ready for the chaotic energy that goes with artists creating permanent pieces of art on people's bodies. I don't have plans for any new work, yet. But when I do, Goodspeed is where I will go.
