Awesome experience from the beginning! I had my second tattoo done at this shop. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My artist was Craig. Craig was very informative about the placement of the tattoo, color and sizing. He was very professional and knowlegable throughtout the entire session. The tattoo could not have been more perfect. Exactly what I wanted.Torture Ink is the best. Craig is the best of the best.

Unfortunately not a great experience. People at the desk were very friendly at least.Came in to get 2 same tattoos plain black symbol very tiny about 2 inches big. They said it would be 60$ before we began. My friend had to remind the artist to put plastic wrap on the seat. He was flirting with her the entire time even though she mentioned her bf several times. Made her uncomfortable. My stencil was messy and lines were not even so I had to keep telling him to touch up some spaces. The second tattoo which was the same exact thing did not look the same shape at all. Kinda sad but not a big deal. Did not receive any after care instructions.He then told me it would be 75$. then when I got to the counter to pay he said 70$... fine. I asked him to take a picture of my tattoo for me and he did and then starting scrolling through my pictures on my phone...awkward. I snatched my phone back and he laughed. I'm sure people have had a great experience here but unfortunately I don't think I would come back.

I have a very large problem with Torture Ink. I came in requesting a Steve Buscemi portrait on my gluteus maximus. Unfortunately the artist was reluctant but after persuasion he complied. Sadly the tattoo was horrendous. I swear my fourteen day old child could have made it better. It looked like a sack of potatoes mixed with a hairy cantaloupe. I was very disappointed and would like a refund for the huge mistake.

I had a session with Craig today which was amazing. I had a half finished tattoo by an employee who is no longer there. Not only did she not finish it but the work she did was sub par. Craig not only fixed her mistakes, but is completing the tattoo free of charge! He is a great artist and stands behind not only his work but that of the studio. If I could give more than five stars I would! Thanks again Craig!!

I have been here about 4 times now and have been tattooed by both Craig and Brett, both are very professional and very personable. I just keep coming back! �Liam's always super friendly at the door and makes your waiting room experience fun! While the artist Craig listens to what you've got planned and makes it come to reality with a quick hand and beautiful technique. & with Brett, he'll bring out a creative side in you you didn't know was there. He makes you feel like your tattoos are the only thing he currently cares about. Overall, Id recommend this place to anyone and I'll always back here.

Experience was great, and the tattoo artist even better! Craig, our tattoo artist, had us laughing from the minute we met him until we left. Everyone there was cool and welcoming. Our matching sister tats came out perfect too! We came in with a picture i made of what we wanted and with a few tweeks, he gave us just what we asked for. I will definitely be going back to Torture Ink...especially to get work done by Craig!

I was searching online for a tattoo shop to get a tattoo, someone not too expensive and that does good work. When i found torture ink i looked through their work and loved it so i emailed him. Craig got me in on a day that worked for me which was great that i didn't have to book months ahead. Craig was very patient with me getting my foot tattoo and did a great job (seeing how i was being a baby). I definitely plan on going back to him and would recommend him to anyone !

Clean shop. Called at 6:30pm on a Tuesday and ultimately decided on this shop because it was the only one open late. Spur of the moment tattoo idea. My husband got my handwriting on his forearm and it came out nice. The guy had a steady hand. His friend got a cartoon panda and it came out nice as well. Not too elaborate. The website said Tuesday's were buy one tattoo get one half off, and when I called to ask about it the guy who answered the phone said "no we don't do that"....but it was clearly on the website. We went on a Tuesday. They shouldn't advertise it if they don't follow it. My husband got the words "make them pay" which took the guy literally 10 minutes and his cost $120.His friend got a panda wearing army boots and a helmet that was about 4x4 inches in color & that cost only $100 for about 45 mins to an hour of Tattooing. Pricing didn't make sense at all. Again, not too much to base it off but had a good experience.

This place is amazing! I got my first tattoo done today by Craig and let me tell you, this guy is awesome! He knew that I was nervous since it was my first time and he did every he could to make me feel comfortable. The shop has a really nice and comfortable vibe to it, definitely would recommend going here! I plan on getting the rest of my tattoos here! Color, lines, design, etc are amazing!

I was feeling a little sad and needed some ink therapy so my husband and I found out about Torture Ink thru Google and let me tell you this shop is bye far one of the best shops I have been to and I can say that becAuse I've been to many .. Craig is the bomb!! Super gentle made me feel comfortable and he gets bonus points for the pinky promise sealed with a kiss ... after years of getting inked I have finally found my tattoo guy and a forever friend go see Craig at tourtue ink you won't be disappointed !!!

I wanted to do something for my wife Kristen. I suggested a tattoo. And of course she was up for one. I called Tortured Ink. He's out of Enfield Ct. I know calling a tattoo place last minute and getting one that day is slim to none. I told Craig what I was looking to get and told me he would see me at 3pm. I wasn't sure he said that so I said "what was that". He replied again "see you at 3pm". We got here and found the font that we wanted with Liam and we were on our way to a wonderful experience. Craig is a real down to earth guy and will recommend him to anyone who wants a tattoo. By far one of the best places to go.

So Today was a spur of the moment Tattoo date day with me and my girlfriend. We decided to try out our local tattoo shop; Torture Ink. Let me tell you, it was a great decision. First of all Craig accepted us on a walk in. He gave us a reasonable price and his work is amazing to say the least. Gentle hand hand strokes, for all of you that get tattoos you know that is an important trait for a tattoo artist to have. Excellent environment, and an even better staff. I'd strongly advise you tattoo fanatics to give this mans work a try and I promise you won't be disappointed. Thumbs up to Torture Ink. Keep up the good work.

Called a week or so prior to my appointment. I was hoping to get in earlier but Craig's schedule was booked solid and I can now see why. What an incredible artist. I have 5 tattoos already but the one that Craig created for me was over the top amazing!!!! He was incredibly accommodating and made me feel like I was the only person in the room. Besides his sense of humor and overall great personality he made me more than comfortable. Needless to say I've found my "tattoo guy". I'll be getting more ink from Craig Smith at Torture Ink!!!

I knew the area prices and I wanted to make sure that I was getting a fair price as the usual shop I go to when I'm in the area was booked up. I was told that if " u are just price shopping and not worried about the quality we may not be the shop ". Talk about rude not to mention unprofessional. In my decade of being inked around the world, I've never been spoken to in this fashion, nor would I recommend this shop based on this interaction alone.

I had a tattoo for my mother, which was very important to me. I wanted to put another tattoo above it, and I made sure to make it clear that the old tattoo was not to be touched. My artist was Craig, and he had no problems with this. He created his magic with my beautiful semi colon butterfly, and then asked if he could fix my moms tattoo, free of charge. All he did was add a little black ink, and it pulled both tattoos together. He did beautiful work, and I will be going back to him to do my hip cover up. (I included a picture of the work he did in the picture section, it's the blue butterfly above an EKG.)

You will be amazed what he can do with a free hand. Wow is all you can say. I got a great work done with their $399 all you can sit/take deal and it's the best deal out here in the whole east coast... My friends and I went in at 11 (we called ahead of time and they told us to come in at this time) and waited until 2:45 AM. They kept telling us it would be soon, and that they could let give us a quote until it was time for the tattoo. When two of us went to get food they asked for us to buy them some, and didn't even pay us back in full for their meal. When it was time, they have us a 245 dollar quote for 3 small words. The lady at the front desk was obviously on drugs. Never go here, it's not worth your time. I used to go here when there was different ownership/artist. Such a let down that she left.

I was feeling a little sad and needed some ink therapy so my husband and I found out about Torture Ink thru Google and let me tell you this shop is bye far one of the best shops I have been to and I can say that becAuse I've been to many .. Craig is the bomb!! Super gentle made me feel comfortable and he gets bonus points for the pinky promise sealed with a kiss ... after years of getting inked I have finally found my tattoo guy and a forever friend go see Craig at tourtue ink you won't be disappointed !!!

I wanted to do something for my wife Kristen. I suggested a tattoo. And of course she was up for one. I called Tortured Ink. He's out of Enfield Ct. I know calling a tattoo place last minute and getting one that day is slim to none. I told Craig what I was looking to get and told me he would see me at 3pm. I wasn't sure he said that so I said "what was that". He replied again "see you at 3pm". We got here and found the font that we wanted with Liam and we were on our way to a wonderful experience. Craig is a real down to earth guy and will recommend him to anyone who wants a tattoo. By far one of the best places to go.

So Today was a spur of the moment Tattoo date day with me and my girlfriend. We decided to try out our local tattoo shop; Torture Ink. Let me tell you, it was a great decision. First of all Craig accepted us on a walk in. He gave us a reasonable price and his work is amazing to say the least. Gentle hand hand strokes, for all of you that get tattoos you know that is an important trait for a tattoo artist to have. Excellent environment, and an even better staff. I'd strongly advise you tattoo fanatics to give this mans work a try and I promise you won't be disappointed. Thumbs up to Torture Ink. Keep up the good work.

I had to cancel once on him and felt horrible but Craig didn't hold it against me. They have great prices and the work is perfect. Found my Ink guy

Called a week or so prior to my appointment. I was hoping to get in earlier but Craig's schedule was booked solid and I can now see why. What an incredible artist. I have 5 tattoos already but the one that Craig created for me was over the top amazing!!!! He was incredibly accommodating and made me feel like I was the only person in the room. Besides his sense of humor and overall great personality he made me more than comfortable. Needless to say I've found my "tattoo guy". I'll be getting more ink from Craig Smith at Torture Ink!!!

I got my first tattoo today from Craig at Torture Ink. He was really friendly and professional and did a terrific job. Even though it's small, it has a lot of meaning for me, to commemorate my mom, and I'm really glad I got it done. I'll be going back to Craig in the future for my next one.

I emailed a few weeks ago to get a basic price for a tattoo that I was wanting to get. I knew the area prices and I wanted to make sure that I was getting a fair price as the usual shop I go to when I'm in the area was booked up. I was told that if " u are just price shopping and not worried about the quality we may not be the shop ". Talk about rude not to mention unprofessional. In my decade of being inked around the world, I've never been spoken to in this fashion, nor would I recommend this shop based on this interaction alone.

AMAZING!!! Amy did my tattoo and I love it. The prices are great and the artists are talented and so friendly. After a bad experience at another shop I didn't think I'd be getting another tattoo ever, but after this I will definitely be back for more! If you want a great tattoo and a better experience, this is the place to go.

I had a tattoo for my mother, which was very important to me. I wanted to put another tattoo above it, and I made sure to make it clear that the old tattoo was not to be touched. My artist was Craig, and he had no problems with this. He created his magic with my beautiful semi colon butterfly, and then asked if he could fix my moms tattoo, free of charge. All he did was add a little black ink, and it pulled both tattoos together. He did beautiful work, and I will be going back to him to do my hip cover up. (I included a picture of the work he did in the picture section, it's the blue butterfly above an EKG.)

I went down to torture ink for my first tattoo and I couldn't have been any happier. First of all my artist was Jac Bryan, an amazing professional Artist with serious skill. You will be amazed what he can do with a free hand. Wow is all you can say. I got a great work done with their $399 all you can sit/take deal and it's the best deal out here in the whole east coast... Don't even think about it, just make an appointment and give him an idea or your design, sit back and watch it come alive. Thanks Jac

My friends and I went in at 11 (we called ahead of time and they told us to come in at this time) and waited until 2:45 AM. They kept telling us it would be soon, and that they could let give us a quote until it was time for the tattoo. When two of us went to get food they asked for us to buy them some, and didn't even pay us back in full for their meal. When it was time, they have us a 245 dollar quote for 3 small words. The lady at the front desk was obviously on drugs. Never go here, it's not worth your time. I used to go here when there was different ownership/artist. Such a let down that she left.
