D is amazing -- from taking the time to talk with me about exactly what I wanted and being super precise with the placement (while consulting both me and my friend I brought along for our approvals), to thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all the jewelry, equipment, and the piercing station, and executing the piercing itself flawlessly, he killed it. I live in Baldwinsville NY and brought my 16 year old daughter in for her first tattoo. Since it's a NYS law not to do them at this age we were lucky enough she had a softball tournament in Danbury CT. She has wanted a memoriam tattoo for her grandmother since about 13 years old, this was a bday gift to her. I looked through the picture booklets of previous designs/tattoos in the waiting room, and immediately felt as though I'd be making a mistake if I didn't get something done by all of them. Definitely one of the best Tattoo Parlors in Fairfield County. I went to get my first Tattoo today. When i walked in and sat down right in front of me was a giant coffee table full of endless pictures of amazing tattoos theyve created. The artist who gave me my tattoo was a man named Brenton and was very interactive in helping me incorporate my ideas into my tattoo. He could not stress enough the Sterilization of their Shop and had all fresh packaged tools out on a table ready. VERY VERY clean, sterile Cool atmosphere and much experience to back up their work. A group of us (5 in all) came to this studio. We were each looking for small tattoos. We knew that this may not be able to be accommodated, but we thought we should at least ask. After checking with the artists, we were told they were really busy but that they could do it. We each shared images of what we were looking for. There was no opportunity to email these images or talk to the artists. After 90 minutes of waiting, we were shown the sketches of all five on the same page. Two of us gave feedback because the sketches did not look like the tattoos we had shown them (and they would have known if they had asked us to send them the images we brought with us.) After the second person gave feedback, one of artists threw down his pen and stormed out of the room. At this point, we knew we couldn't stay and give money to a place that would treat customers in such a rude and unprofessional manner. As we were leaving, the artist returned and told us, "sorry, we can't do it." Rather than tell us that they couldn't accommodate us from the beginning, two hours of our time was wasted. If the artists had at least attempted to be polite when turning us away after two hours, we would not have felt it necessary to write such a negative review. I would caution anyone from using this studio for their tattoos, especially when there are a number of places that will treat all potential customers with care and respect. Read Less

Luv Ink has done a fantastic job of transforming an ordinary tattoo shop into an extraordinary art studio/gallery. I was blown away by the atmosphere. The layout of the shop, the walled art and the appearance - everything is conducive to a creative space. The entire studio is filled with amazing original art and I'd say that's worth the trip alone. If you're going for more than a viewing, you'll definitely be in good hands. These guys are true pros and it's obvious that ...they genuinely love what they do. I have been following Brenton Vaughan for years (don't make it weird) and he has never let me down. He's a master of traditional, but always eager to step outside the box and tattoo some comic art in black and gray for me.
