I've been to a few tattoo studios, however none could compare to Phantom ink! Steve is absolutely amazing at what he does. His line work is so precise it's almost scary. Steve has done some Major Tattoo Screw ups.. He talks VERY bad about ALL other Parlors. His GF is such a *itch! They are the perfect couple! They have NOTHING good to say -ever. You either agree with them or your an enemy type of person. I have heard this many times and I disagreed with him. I am NO LONGER allowed at his stinking rude shop! His brother is resting without him indeed.. When he did my American Flag , it has 16 Lines! He said he knows what hes doing. WRONG! Its 13 Steve! Now I must live with HIS Mistake until its covered.. I found out my wife has been cheating on me with my best friend of 6 years. Immediately upon catching them together I called up to see if I could get a tattoo, Steve opened up just so he could remove She Whom Shall not be Named's name from my dog tag. Steve just did my husbands tattoo and it is so AWESOME! My husband got his whole arm done like a sleeve and the originality and "old school" ways is absolutely brilliant! He is down to earth, easy to talk to, and everything was clean and comfortable. I am now going to get one as I have the utmost confidence that the scorpion I get will be like no other and done with the perfection only Steve can do by seeing the outcome of my husbands tattoo! I do not recommend this place. At all. I went there for an estimate, handed the guy (Steve) a picture on where I wanted it placed and he said, "The picture doesn't help." That threw me off but I overlooked it. For future reference, and there will be a lot of them here, if someone says something THAT ignorant, don't overlook it. I checked his credentials before the procedure and he runs a legit business. He had plaques, trophies, and was featured in magazines for reasons that are beyond my comprehension. For future reference, if someone has trophies, in magazines, etc it doesn't mean shit. Along with screwing people over, he knew his stuff as far as microbes, antibacterial, and whatnot. Too bad if he spent half the time putting that effort into becoming a real artist, and a real person, he probably wouldn't be in the shithole he is now, but i digress. We spent some time going over placement on my forearm and unfortunately no matter where the tattoo rests on the forearm it will never be completely straight. So I decided on a spot based off that fact and we went forward with it. I'm getting the tattoo done and halfway through he goes onto placement and said, "You should have had the arm rest naturally and I tattoo it from there." Now he tells me like it was some kind of fucking secret. Not only that but the tattoo was crooked. It starts straight then leans to the left. Mind you, I gave this guy specifics on everything I wanted down to the final T. Exact measurements, you name it; and of course, pictures that according to him, didn't help. I really couldn't have made it easier for him. His ignorance is beyond words. This was my first tattoo and I told him this. This guy is just a disgruntled prick that likes to take advantage of young people. I urge you from experience, unless you like getting your skin fucked up go here to write an even worse review then I did to find out firsthand. Tattoo shops are a dime a dozen. Save yourself the turmoil of getting tattooed by a senseless sob and go to someone that actually cares about their business and livelihood. I'm glad I finally got around to writing this. Read Less

I have recently jus got my first tattoo done at Phantom Ink Tattoos, I got an anckle bracket tattoo with my both my daughters inticials on it.. it.came out amazing I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.. Steven Cullen is an outstanding artist he really knows what he's doing, not only is he a good artist but also a good man! I was so scared to get the tattoo done and he really knew how to completely calm me down I was so relaxed..
