My girlfriend was pierced (ear in London and the piercer totally screwed it up, not leaving any room for swelling.  Her ear swole up 3x and her pain was unbearable. We were considering stopping at a local hospital, but tried here first. And boy, was it worth it. Kevin welcomed us with a smile on his face and was INCREDIBLY helpful. He immediately identified the issue with the piercing, and sterilized and removed it with the utmost professionalism, skill, and kindness.  If we had waited any longer, removing her piercing would have required Novocain and a hospital visit.  Kevin spent the time to remove it gently and correctly.  We were a walk-in and he asked us for nothing in return, despite his attentiveness and taking time out of his day for us when he absolutely did not to.  Could not be more pleased with the experience and can confirm Kevin is an incredibly honest and talented piercer. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT go here for piercings. Kevin was unnecessarily mean from the second my friend and I arrived. It was as if every question we asked was the dumbest he'd ever heard. After powering through with our questions, he botched my conch piercing anyway- with the back of the earring practically touching my skull. I could see on his face something wasn't right, but he didn't speak up. I ended up finding another parlor to remove the piercing. I called to speak with the owner who never returned my calls. I recently was tattooed by Alethea, who was friendly, nice and who did an amazing tattoo. I haven't gotten one in over 15 years and she initially went slow and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I'm obsessed with my tattoo that Colin did yesterday. He has recommended people I know and they swore by his technique. Colin was awesome! He made sure I was 110% sure I was happy with the placement of the stencil and talked me through it the entire time. Love his personality as well. I would probably not go here for a piercing because the person that did mine messed it up pretty bad. Blood, pain, and had to be redone by someone at a different shop who knew what the hell he was doing. Also, not a very nice experience in terms of the piercer's personality or ability to make someone feel comfortable before they get a needle stuffed through them. With the amount of pain and suffering I went through, I feel like I should sue them, or at least get my money back. What happened to me should never have happened and I'm completely pissed. I've gotten a nose piercing as well as a double forward helix piercing here. Both were great experiences. Piercer was nice and everything was done sterile and safely. Went in for simple help with removing a piercing. The guy working was totally rude, and when he couldn't get the jewelry undone his suggestion was a cold 'find some wire cutters.' When I suggested we try it a certain way he replied again, 'nope, wire cutters.' ... After checking 20+ artist from NY to NH- I decided to go with Dennis right here in good ol CT. He gave me the most amazing tattoo. Better than I could have ever imagined. Not a day goes by that I don't get complements on my art! He used bright, beautiful colors which made my entire shoulder "pop." He listened to my concerns and ideas, paid close attention to every detail and made me feel right at home. His attitude and passion for his work is what immediately drew me in upon speaking with him.
