No other place!I've gotten several piercings done here (second cartilage, conch, and nostril) along with more recently a tattoo. The piercers here are excellent and you can tell that they definitely take your safety, sanitation, and best interests to mind. When I originally went in to get an industrial piercing, Rachel took a look at my ear and informed me that the fold of my ear was not strong enough to hold the barbell and that my ear would eventually reject the piercing. I really appreciated this, considering she could have easily taken my money, done the piercing, and I would have to find that out later down the line. Instead, she helped my decide on the conch piecing and handled it very quick and easily. A few days later, I got the jewelry stuck on a hat and accidentally yanked it out and was having problems putting back in. I went back in the next day and she happened to be there and she helped me re-sterilize it and put it back in with no extra charge.When I got my tattoo done here, Nate was both professional and easy enough to talk to. I went in to express my ideas to him about what I wanted and he told me to come in the next day to get it done (which was not what I was expecting, considering other tattoo places have had me wait several weeks or months for custom tattoos). He completely blew me away with his design and was totally cool with making the process as fast, yet precisely, as he could. He helped me a bit with aftercare and I came in a few days later for some more Saniderm and to check on healing. It's healed very well and I've gotten multiple compliments on it.For piercings, this is the place to be! I don't have as much experience with tattoos, but I would highly recommend everyone here!

Honestly if I can rate this shop a million star I would but only let me do 5.honestly I recommend people if they are getting pierced or getting tatted hundred percent get it here

Artist work was better than average at Best GF wanted some lettering and very close to home so made the appt with a a $60 deposit.Yes, she was 10 mins late and ass hole claims he cancelled her and called next appt.. no refunds no reschdules. Yes she was late, but I'm still calling bullshit that in that time he gave up on her and called the next. Stay away from this place. When I walked in to discuss he was prepped for a fight. Obviously not his first time ripping people off. Instead we went to Luck13. Awesome rockstar service, higher talent level, and yet lower cost that the tribal douche.

I have had multiple great experiences here! First one was when I came in to get my nose piercing taken care of, and the second was the tattoo I got yesterday. Everyone I worked with was amazing ( I wish I could have remembered the piercers name, she was really nice and explained everything to me), but the best was Shaun! I’ve been struggling to find a new tattoo artist since mine moved away, and I have found one I want to stick with! Shaun was so nice to work with and did an AMAZING job on the piece I wanted to get. He’s been in the business 18+ years and is an expert at his craft. If you’re looking for a great artist, definitely go to him!

Jared is my tattoo artist. I would follow him to any tattoo parlor. I have been getting tattoos by Jared almost weekly for a year and a half. The crew at Tribal Rites is awesome and they treat me like family. The shop is always clean and in good order. In the year and half that I've been coming here I've met the "manager" once. Unforgettable. He kept interrupting my tattoo session with his "stories" and even pulled my artist away to help him fix his motorcycle. I thought he was completely unprofessional. I still give the shop 5 stars for everyone else who works there.

My wife and I came in for our first tattoos and couldn't have been happier. Mike's work was efficient and beautiful, exceeding our expectations. The Westminster location was crazy busy when we were there on Sunday, but they still managed to get us in and we never felt like we were being rushed. I was amazed at how quickly Mike was able to take our concepts through design to finished art that was far better than what we came in with. I would recommend making an appointment in advance if you can, but it was a great experience and well worth the wait.

I went into Tribal Rites yesterday to get my septum pierced and let me tell you, the staff was absolutely fantastic. There was basically no wait, they had a ton of jewelry to look at (they said they could custom order anything if they didn't have it), and their prices were extremely reasonable. Liz Murphy did my septum piercing in a matter of minutes and it didn't hurt at all. I'm on day 2 now and my piercing is doing absolutely great, I'd definitely come back for more piercings in the future and I'll be telling my friends about my experience here. Thanks again, Liz!!!

I was half joking when I said what ear piercings don't hurt the most and the one piercer goes all piercings hurt sweetie. I felt like they were kind of rude, they weren't too friendly at all. I ended up going to another tattoo shop but I got my Rook Pierced instead. They gave me a coupon because I said that I'll probably be back but I threw it out! I won't be back!

Was not allowed to set an appt... walked in at 3:30 was told to wait for artist to get back from the store. When he got back he was very short and rude with us... made us wait another 30 mins while he smoked outside... we waited an hour and a half to get our tiny tattoos. There wasn't a single customer getting tattooed. Absolutely no reason why we should've been treated that way. Two and a half hours later we have little tattoos and a bad attitude from this awful experience. Will never go back.

When I asked the dude to see some navel rings he said (after looking me up and down) "they all start at 80 bucks, do you still want to look at them?" I asked the price on a gorgeous pair of dragonfly earrings on display he said that they were at least 100 but he couldn't figure it out and I could come back in the morning to figure it out. And that they were meant for g...auged ears. I have stretched ears, was just wearing big regular earrings so you can't tell the holes are so big. And even if I didn't, if I want to make a purchase who is he to talk me out of it? They could have been for a gift or whatever. After getting obviously irritated that I just wanted jewelry and not any work done he said " if all you want is jewelry you'd have better luck at our Longmont location" shocked by someone trying to pretty much kick out a ready-to-pay customer, I asked where that was, to which his response was "uh, Longmont" I didn't do anything to deserve this type of treatment and have come into this shop randomly for years, but will never go back. Secondly, he used two paper towels and pierced his tongue. He pulled clamps out but didn't use them. The piercing is super crooked. When he told him the cleaning procedure, he kept using false information. He also didn't clean the piercing station. If you want a super good reliable piercer go to Rod Kennedy at Blue Rose tattoo off Washington street. Rod knows what he's doing and is super clean.

Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, knew exactly what I needed and at more than reasonable rates. I've been here twice now in the past couple weeks and both times had a great experience. The first time was for myself. I came in as a walk in and got a small tattoo on my hand. My artist was Mike. He was super quick and even waited for me to find a script I liked because I hadn't thought to do it beforehand. The second time, I came with both my sisters, again as walk ins. My older sister got her septum pierced (not sure on the piercer's name, but she was awesome) and my younger sister got a previous tattoo filled with some flowers. Her artist was Ces and he did a great job! He was super friendly and super funny. I would definitely recommend this place to others and am super pleased with both my experiences here.

I went here a couple months ago for a piercing and I had an amazing experience. I kept coming here since then for other piercing and they're always super friendly and easy to talk to. I've had three different people pierce me now and they've all done a great job. I always hear these weird horror stories about the piercer messing up but I never have that worry, I'm always in good hands when it comes to Tribal Rites. I'm a little Asian girl so I'm totally out of my element at tattoo shops but everyone there is really friendly and truly does their best to make you feel welcomed! They'll answer all your questions and if you come in with concerns someone will help you. I'm going to get more piercings in the future and a tattoo there as well so I'll update in the next couple of months but I'm pretty sure my review will be the same if not better!

I've been getting a piece by Mike before he was at tribal. He does amazing pieces and is super friendly. I'm glad he's here now because his work is excellent and this shop is truly a full service parlor. Piercings, laser work for removal and cover ups, and excellent tattoos. Fun fact; this is one of the original places to get ink in the metro area. It's a business that has stood the test of time, as it opened in 1994. Everyone is courteous and super friendly. There's a super awesome community atmosphere here and I fully recommend this shop. I'm assuming the one on the hill is just as good. The entire place Is immaculate. The chairs are pretty comfy and everyone loves Star Wars. Thanks Mike you're the man. All I can say is I'll be back.

My friend and I went in this afternoon to get different ear piercings and Liz helped us out. Having had a bad experience with my tragus being pierced by a different shop, and having to remove them, I was weary to get them re-done. Liz was funny and engaging making both my friend and I feel super at-ease. It was like going to a friend, but completely professional, safe, and accurate. I plan on going back to her when I want to get another!

My husband and I stopped in here to get a couples tattoo and Mike Myers, our artist did a great job helping us. He really took his time to get it right even though we were just getting a very simple tat of our names. He was patient even though we were not sure what we wanted. I would highly recommend this place and if you're scared of any pain or getting the small details right, like I was, Mike has a very gentle hand, so don't worry!

There were so many people waiting to get their piercings at this place. I totally understand why, too! Kevin is fantastic and he takes the time to explain and make you feel like you are the only person that matters. He took the extra effort to calm and relax us both. I have several other friends that want to get piercings as well, and they will be coming with me to visit Kevin very soon. Everything is clean and neatly packaged. He cleaned everything infront of us to ensure that we knew that everything was sterile. My friend wanted the more difficult heart daith earring. He carefully manipulated the heart to properly fit her. He even got a few sizes to see what would look the best on her. He ensured that the curve of the piercing nicely flowed with the curve of the ear to give the most aesthetically pleasing result.

I went into this shop today to have my ears stretched. Kevin (my piercer) was so knowledgable and kind. I also had him put an anchor next to my ear. He did an incredible job!!! I had a really chill experience, he informed me the entire time of what to expect and he kept me entertained with good conversation. I stretched my ears from a 14 to a 10 and they feel fine. Found out he has 17 years of experience. These guys know what they're doing!! I can't believe all the gorgeous jewelry this shop has!!! It was too hard to chose which jewelry I wanted this time. I had a great experience today. Gorgeous shop, great people, and they will soon be doing tattoo removal!! I know where I'm going from now on!! Thanks for a great experience!! You guys have been wonderful!!!

I got tattooed by Ces and he did a great job. The shop was super clean and comfortable. Ces paid super close attention to the detail of the handwriting I wanted my tattoo in. He made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. I loved that I was able to get in that day as well. All the guys in the shop have been tattooing for 14 years plus, which was great to find out. Overall it was a great experience and I love my tattoo.

No other place!I've gotten several piercings done here (second cartilage, conch, and nostril) along with more recently a tattoo. The piercers here are excellent and you can tell that they definitely take your safety, sanitation, and best interests to mind. When I originally went in to get an industrial piercing, Rachel took a look at my ear and informed me that the fold of my ear was not strong enough to hold the barbell and that my ear would eventually reject the piercing. I really appreciated this, considering she could have easily taken my money, done the piercing, and I would have to find that out later down the line. Instead, she helped my decide on the conch piecing and handled it very quick and easily. A few days later, I got the jewelry stuck on a hat and accidentally yanked it out and was having problems putting back in. I went back in the next day and she happened to be there and she helped me re-sterilize it and put it back in with no extra charge.When I got my tattoo done here, Nate was both professional and easy enough to talk to. I went in to express my ideas to him about what I wanted and he told me to come in the next day to get it done (which was not what I was expecting, considering other tattoo places have had me wait several weeks or months for custom tattoos). He completely blew me away with his design and was totally cool with making the process as fast, yet precisely, as he could. He helped me a bit with aftercare and I came in a few days later for some more Saniderm and to check on healing. It's healed very well and I've gotten multiple compliments on it.For piercings, this is the place to be! I don't have as much experience with tattoos, but I would highly recommend everyone here!

Artist work was better than average at Best GF wanted some lettering and very close to home so made the appt with a a $60 deposit.Yes, she was 10 mins late and ass hole claims he cancelled her and called next appt.. no refunds no reschdules. Yes she was late, but I'm still calling bullshit that in that time he gave up on her and called the next. Stay away from this place. When I walked in to discuss he was prepped for a fight. Obviously not his first time ripping people off. Instead we went to Luck13. Awesome rockstar service, higher talent level, and yet lower cost that the tribal douche.

I have had multiple great experiences here! First one was when I came in to get my nose piercing taken care of, and the second was the tattoo I got yesterday. Everyone I worked with was amazing ( I wish I could have remembered the piercers name, she was really nice and explained everything to me), but the best was Shaun! I’ve been struggling to find a new tattoo artist since mine moved away, and I have found one I want to stick with! Shaun was so nice to work with and did an AMAZING job on the piece I wanted to get. He’s been in the business 18+ years and is an expert at his craft. If you’re looking for a great artist, definitely go to him!

Jared is my tattoo artist. I would follow him to any tattoo parlor. I have been getting tattoos by Jared almost weekly for a year and a half. The crew at Tribal Rites is awesome and they treat me like family. The shop is always clean and in good order. In the year and half that I've been coming here I've met the "manager" once. Unforgettable. He kept interrupting my tattoo session with his "stories" and even pulled my artist away to help him fix his motorcycle. I thought he was completely unprofessional. I still give the shop 5 stars for everyone else who works there.

My wife and I came in for our first tattoos and couldn't have been happier. Mike's work was efficient and beautiful, exceeding our expectations. The Westminster location was crazy busy when we were there on Sunday, but they still managed to get us in and we never felt like we were being rushed. I was amazed at how quickly Mike was able to take our concepts through design to finished art that was far better than what we came in with. I would recommend making an appointment in advance if you can, but it was a great experience and well worth the wait.

I went into Tribal Rites yesterday to get my septum pierced and let me tell you, the staff was absolutely fantastic. There was basically no wait, they had a ton of jewelry to look at (they said they could custom order anything if they didn't have it), and their prices were extremely reasonable. Liz Murphy did my septum piercing in a matter of minutes and it didn't hurt at all. I'm on day 2 now and my piercing is doing absolutely great, I'd definitely come back for more piercings in the future and I'll be telling my friends about my experience here. Thanks again, Liz!!!

Had a great experience here. Walked in to get s vibe on the place and see about doing something small on my arm and Mike was great. I was half joking when I said what ear piercings don't hurt the most and the one piercer goes all piercings hurt sweetie. I felt like they were kind of rude, they weren't too friendly at all. I ended up going to another tattoo shop but I got my Rook Pierced instead. They gave me a coupon because I said that I'll probably be back but I threw it out! I won't be back!

I forgot the artist name who did my tattoo, but he was super cool and talked me through everything, which helped ease my noob nerves. Walked in here with my best friend to get a tattoo. Called way in advance and tried to set up an appointment. Was not allowed to set an appt... walked in at 3:30 was told to wait for artist to get back from the store. When he got back he was very short and rude with us... made us wait another 30 mins while he smoked outside... we waited an hour and a half to get our tiny tattoos. There wasn't a single customer getting tattooed. Absolutely no reason why we should've been treated that way. Two and a half hours later we have little tattoos and a bad attitude from this awful experience. Will never go back.

When I asked the dude to see some navel rings he said (after looking me up and down) "they all start at 80 bucks, do you still want to look at them?" I asked the price on a gorgeous pair of dragonfly earrings on display he said that they were at least 100 but he couldn't figure it out and I could come back in the morning to figure it out. And that they were meant for g...auged ears. I have stretched ears, was just wearing big regular earrings so you can't tell the holes are so big. And even if I didn't, if I want to make a purchase who is he to talk me out of it? They could have been for a gift or whatever. After getting obviously irritated that I just wanted jewelry and not any work done he said " if all you want is jewelry you'd have better luck at our Longmont location" shocked by someone trying to pretty much kick out a ready-to-pay customer, I asked where that was, to which his response was "uh, Longmont" I didn't do anything to deserve this type of treatment and have come into this shop randomly for years, but will never go back. She did a new piercing for me too, my industrial. It turned out perfect!
ADDITION: I have now gotten my septum, tragus, conch, and 2nd lobe piercings from Liz. They were all amazingly easy and came out perfect.

As an apprentice piercer I was extremely distraught when my friend got his tongue pierced there. Mace didn't use mouth wash to clean my friends tongue/mouth. Secondly, he used two paper towels and pierced his tongue. He pulled clamps out but didn't use them. The piercing is super crooked. When he told him the cleaning procedure, he kept using false information. He also didn't clean the piercing station. If you want a super good reliable piercer go to Rod Kennedy at Blue Rose tattoo off Washington street. Rod knows what he's doing and is super clean.

Overpriced tattoo. Would not heal. Turned bright red (but it wasn't infected according to the tattoo artist and piercer). Area feels like leather. Color is gone from certain parts. Very disappointed. Not worth the money or my time. I will have to go get it fixed at another shop after it is all healed up.

They listen closely to what you want to make sure it's exact before starting. Vince did our tattoos and I recommend him HIGHLY. Saw a couple of Liz's piercings and watched her aftercare. I highly recommend her as well. A truly great experience!

Really great local business. I had my ears stretched to have captive bead earrings put back in after had taken them out for a few years. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, knew exactly what I needed and at more than reasonable rates. I'll return in 6 to 8 weeks to purchase new jewelry and to have my ears stretched up to the next size. Highly recommended.

I've been here twice now in the past couple weeks and both times had a great experience. The first time was for myself. I came in as a walk in and got a small tattoo on my hand. My artist was Mike. He was super quick and even waited for me to find a script I liked because I hadn't thought to do it beforehand. The second time, I came with both my sisters, again as walk ins. My older sister got her septum pierced (not sure on the piercer's name, but she was awesome) and my younger sister got a previous tattoo filled with some flowers. Her artist was Ces and he did a great job! He was super friendly and super funny. I would definitely recommend this place to others and am super pleased with both my experiences here.

I went here a couple months ago for a piercing and I had an amazing experience. I kept coming here since then for other piercing and they're always super friendly and easy to talk to. I've had three different people pierce me now and they've all done a great job. I always hear these weird horror stories about the piercer messing up but I never have that worry, I'm always in good hands when it comes to Tribal Rites. I'm a little Asian girl so I'm totally out of my element at tattoo shops but everyone there is really friendly and truly does their best to make you feel welcomed! They'll answer all your questions and if you come in with concerns someone will help you. I'm going to get more piercings in the future and a tattoo there as well so I'll update in the next couple of months but I'm pretty sure my review will be the same if not better!

I've been getting a piece by Mike before he was at tribal. He does amazing pieces and is super friendly. I'm glad he's here now because his work is excellent and this shop is truly a full service parlor. Piercings, laser work for removal and cover ups, and excellent tattoos. Fun fact; this is one of the original places to get ink in the metro area. It's a business that has stood the test of time, as it opened in 1994. Everyone is courteous and super friendly. There's a super awesome community atmosphere here and I fully recommend this shop. I'm assuming the one on the hill is just as good. The entire place Is immaculate. The chairs are pretty comfy and everyone loves Star Wars. Thanks Mike you're the man. All I can say is I'll be back.

My friend and I went in this afternoon to get different ear piercings and Liz helped us out. Having had a bad experience with my tragus being pierced by a different shop, and having to remove them, I was weary to get them re-done. Liz was funny and engaging making both my friend and I feel super at-ease. It was like going to a friend, but completely professional, safe, and accurate. I plan on going back to her when I want to get another!

My husband and I stopped in here to get a couples tattoo and Mike Myers, our artist did a great job helping us. He really took his time to get it right even though we were just getting a very simple tat of our names. He was patient even though we were not sure what we wanted. I would highly recommend this place and if you're scared of any pain or getting the small details right, like I was, Mike has a very gentle hand, so don't worry!

He could tell that I was nervous, made a few jokes and then boom. Done. Didn't feel really anything. The prices are totally fair and the place is very clean. I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

There were so many people waiting to get their piercings at this place. I totally understand why, too! Kevin is fantastic and he takes the time to explain and make you feel like you are the only person that matters. He took the extra effort to calm and relax us both. I have several other friends that want to get piercings as well, and they will be coming with me to visit Kevin very soon. Everything is clean and neatly packaged. He cleaned everything infront of us to ensure that we knew that everything was sterile. My friend wanted the more difficult heart daith earring. He carefully manipulated the heart to properly fit her. He even got a few sizes to see what would look the best on her. He ensured that the curve of the piercing nicely flowed with the curve of the ear to give the most aesthetically pleasing result.

I went into this shop today to have my ears stretched. Kevin (my piercer) was so knowledgable and kind. I also had him put an anchor next to my ear. He did an incredible job!!! I had a really chill experience, he informed me the entire time of what to expect and he kept me entertained with good conversation. I stretched my ears from a 14 to a 10 and they feel fine. Found out he has 17 years of experience. These guys know what they're doing!! I can't believe all the gorgeous jewelry this shop has!!! It was too hard to chose which jewelry I wanted this time. I had a great experience today. Gorgeous shop, great people, and they will soon be doing tattoo removal!! I know where I'm going from now on!! Thanks for a great experience!! You guys have been wonderful!!!

I got tattooed by Ces and he did a great job. The shop was super clean and comfortable. Ces paid super close attention to the detail of the handwriting I wanted my tattoo in. He made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. I loved that I was able to get in that day as well. All the guys in the shop have been tattooing for 14 years plus, which was great to find out. Overall it was a great experience and I love my tattoo.

After having an initial misunderstanding, I have to say that Michael the manager is very attentive to issues and showed great concern for his shop's clients. The piercer is super nice and good at it, my daughters have both had work by him. Both recommend him.
