I try and avoid this place as much as possible, EVERY time my wife and I go in there the old lady at the counter is extremely rude and we end up waiting forever to be helped even when there is no one else in the store. And if you need supplies don't bother calling ahead because they will tell you they have what you are looking for, but when you arrive to pick it up, they don't have them in stock. I do not know if they are just this ignorant as to what they do and do not have in stock, or they will just tell you they have what your looking for just to get you in the store and try and sell you stuff you are not needing. Like many others if I could give negative stars, I would. Came here before with my mom when she got her first tattoo and her tattoo artist Joe was very professional and did great work. We came back recently and got small matching heart tattoos on our hands and our artist Ruth was wonderful! However... we came back today after making an appointment with Ruth last week to get touch ups done and when we walked in they informed us that she no longer worked there and also if we wanted touch ups we would have to pay them a $60 minimum! When we asked them why we would have to pay that much if we already had an appointment and since our tattoos are super small, they got very rude with us and the older woman there started yelling and made us very uncomfortable. Never going here again, we will take our business elsewhere. Artists apparently never stay here long and now I can see why. If you're looking to get tattoos, please save yourself the headache and find literally any other tattoo shop to go to. Read Less

Joe did a great job on my tattoo, but I didn't like the old lady up front who didn't greet me. Make sure you bring cash, they don't take credit/debit. Their atm was out of service, but there's a King Soopers nearby. Don't forget to tip your tattoo or piercing artist 15-18%. Read Less

I've had my piercing for 10 years but lost the ring that goes in it. Not wanting to have to taper I went in to get a new earring in. They told me it was hypoallergenic but it isn't, it wouldn't have been that bad but they put it in so tight that we couldn't get it out. Even a professional piercing place couldn't get it out, they had to cut the labret out of my ear because of the pain and swelling on my 10 year old piercing. Oh and you have to pay cash, and if you don't have cash on you, don't worry, they'll direct you to their ATM after you've gotten what you need. So you end up paying them more because they don't want to pay taxes.Read Less

My husband went here to get a tat. we waited for what seemed forever to even see anybody and when we did they had attitude. Once he did get to talk to an artist they had a pack of smokes and cell in hand (trying to get the conversation over quickly to go smoke.) So unprofessional and the tat My husband  wanted she said she wouldn't do...& wanted to change the location and make it bigger. I went in here to get my nose pierced, as I have had it pierced before I knew what to expect. I had rod and he was awesome! It was the best experience I have ever had, first off he is extremely friendly and really takes his time with you, second he put on numbing cream before the piercing, which I've never had or heard of! It was the least painless piercing I have ever had, he did a fantastic job and it looks great! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Horrible. Went in for just a consultation on a tattoo for ideas and prices. Instead i get 'mel'. Who aside from her mediocre tattoo skill seriously lacks customer service. . I have met some rude entitled tattoo artists before but she was by far the worst. Instead if being at all helpful she took it upon herself to lecture me about MY TATTOO CHOICE. And not just lecture but borderline yelled at me. Last time i checked I pay you to do the tattoo.. if you're not qualified fine, but im not paying you to be a judgmental B****. I have yet to even meet a person who has had a.good experience with her as i work close by and have people come in after going there and some of the things i have heard its amazing that place is even open. DO NOT GO HERE.  After a night in the emergency room because of a severely infected ear piercing I will never go here agin. Sincere (piercer) forgot to properly clean it before piercing it. After 2 days I had a raging infection, fever and all. The ER doctor had to remove it, and I had to be put on antibiotics for weeks. Complete lack of professionalism. Awful, awful, awful!! The guy Rod who pierced my nose didn't not do it correctly! And I recently have contacted someone else who was also pierced by Rod. She also got hers pierced wrong. Please save your money and go somewhere else. It is not worth going here. The guy was a construction worker there who would always fix things wrong. And they trained him because they need someone. Obviously didn't train in correctly. I am very frustrated. I will now be getting mine pierced for the 3rd time. (I know he was a construction worker and stuff because I know someone who previously worked there). Seriously please don't go here. AWFUL. Not to mention the staff is pretty rude. Read Less

Was recommended here by a friend. When I walked in I was blatantly ignored by the employees, after hesitantly finding someone just to get a simple question asked about pricing for a septum piercing I received attitude from an older woman at the front who brushed me off and proceeded to tell me it would be an hour wait. Get my lip re-pierced by Sincere after several failed attempts at a straight snake bite (this was the 5th time this side was pierced). He was very honest and warned me that it may slide into the scar tissue and still be crooked, and that I shouldn't try again if that was the case. He precisely measured the spacing, and was dead on (sadly it DID move, and because I couldn't stand the side of uneven snakebites I eventually removed one piercing). He was very fast and smooth and it was the most painless piercing I've had done. Although I am more of an ink girl and not so much of a piercing kind of person, any other piercings from here on out I will go see him first. Read Less

I got a tatoo when i was 21. And due to the pain of that tattoo (which remains unfinished...i could only sit through the outline) i decided that tattoos are not my thing. For a reason i will not dive into, 14 years later i was driven to get another tattoo and made an appointment with melinda. My experience with Melinda as my tattoo artist, I'm afraid, may actually make me one of those people who is addicted to the art. It just did not hurt in the same excrutiating way that i remember. I recently got my first tattoo and a big tattoo done here, by Raul. After a bad experience with what was supposed to be a consoltation at another shop I decided to go to Davians. From the second I walked in, I felt welcome. Raul made me feel important and brought more meaning to my tattoo than I had anticipated. He made me feel like MY tattoo was important to HIM. After I believe a total of 8 hours, he was more than a tattoo artist, but someone I guess I would consider a friend. My tattoo turned out BEAUTIFUL and I love it. The honor of my mother shows thanks to Raul. Even though, I pretty much only worked with Raul everyone at the shop was incredibly friendly, Mel, Dan, Sincere and all the workers up front. They all really took the time to listen, make me laugh and admire the art that Raul had done. I will DEFINITELY be back and this has become my number one tattoo/piercing shop.
