I was super excited to get my first tattoo, and after reading reviews and seeing pictures I chose this shop. I looked at hours online, and the sign on the door said they would be open. So I flew in to visit a dear friend and we decided to get a tattoo that we've been talking about for over a year, I was pumped and Kenny at Black Lotus did not disappoint! First off, when I'm getting a tattoo I like to feel that it's a sterile environment and this place is that! Real professional and down to earth all at the same time. I had a great experience! The shop was very clean and looked professional. I had my tattoo done by Blaine, and he did amazing! He was thorough and made sure to play it safe, and and helped me find the exact right place to put my tattoo (where I originally wanted it caused the image to warp slightly). Blaine took physical cues very well, for instance, when I got progressively more uncomfortable with the level of pain, I didn't really say anything, but he noticed and suggested a break. He also showed attention to detail, and took the time to fix things, like when he noticed the bandage comming up on one corner, he spent the extra few seconds to fix it which is more than I would have expected from anyone else. He was super friendly and nice even though I wasn't very talkative, and he definitely helped put me at ease. I would recommend him to anyone! Read Less

I am so impressed with the friendliness, cleanliness, professionalism and talent of the artists here. My friend and I got tattoos from Kenny and Chase, and I can't speak for my friend, but this was the best experience I've ever had in my 15 years of being tattooed. Kenny did mine, and his level of experience and attention to detail is beyond apparent throughout the entire process. My friend's tattoo, by Chase, is really nice as well. His lines are flawless. I've been looking for a new tattoo shop and I live close to this one so I thought maybe I would go and see what they were all about I went in around 3:30 p.m. on a Tuesday there was only one person in the shop and he was doing a tattoo I was ignored for 20 minutes I decided that he was pretty busy and that somebody must be on lunch so I walked out and went to the store like I had planned and came back after I've gone to the store which was at least an hour and a half walked it again same guy ignored for 20 more minutes don't think I'll be getting my tattoos here Read Less

Great shop with a great staff! Blaine is my artist and he's great! He has done most of my tattoos and I can always say I am pleased with his work. The shop also has two other Artists Kenny and Chris who are also fantastic, they are all very professional and make the tattoo experience great. I would recommend this shop to anyone! Read Less
