I called ahead asking if they had any walk ins and they told me to come in about 30 mins and they could get me in, I wanted a triangle on my side, not even filled in, a triangle. as I was walking in the two men outside stopped me and said they were the tattoo artists and they were all booked, as they were sitting there smoking weed. I said okay I called and you said you could get me in and it wouldn't be long since it's just a triangle and they continued saying they were "too busy" and basically told me to leave. Autumn helped me pick out jewelry for my nose piercing and went over all the aftercare and also cleaned my nose and put the dot where the piercing went. She was very nice and answered all of my questions! Very welcoming people in the shop. Dylan did the piercing. He explained every step and made me feel very comfortable! Staff was rude. Went in to ask a simple question if anyone was there that could put in some jewelry for me (already had the jewelry and was previously pierced). Man working just shook his head at me and went back to doing his business. I literally thought he was joking/being sarcastic at first. Seems like they don't care about new customers or growing their customer base. My sister got her belly button pierced here (it's completely off-center) and the piercer rudely told her she'd have to go out and buy cleaning solution. I have 15 piercings of my own, each done professionally and I've always been sent out with an aftercare solution, whether I've bought it separately or it came with the price of the piercing and jewelry. Lauren was my Piercer, I am 16 and have a history of passing out a lot with needles. The nice thing about Lauren is from the very start explained why paying 70$ for a piercing is better for you rather than the 40$ ones. Not only that but she went in detail on exactly what she was going to do and was very honest. She made me feel very comfortable and I felt safe. This is Day 2 of having it and it is already super cleared up. I have very little to no swelling as well as no irritation. Of course sleeping was a challenge because I sleep on my right side and that’s the side I chose to get my cartilage piercing on. Been here a number of times for both tats and piercings. They have good artists and a big selection of jewelry. BUT Don't expect to come here and leave with a warm/joyful feeling. Likely No one will greet you when you walk in (not until you pay your dues standing around for a while first). Likely No one will smile, interact, show gratitude, or even be friendly towards you. It's just the way it is. They seem to know it. They don't seem to care.  If you're hoping for a more welcoming spot, check elsewhere. Otherwise all good. Read Less

Let me say that I read all sorts of reviews before I decided to drop in for a Daith piercing. First I laughed at the sign that said "no services below $60" because that already cancels out half the negative reviews on this page. Learn to read people. Lauren came up and introduced herself and told me there was a bit of a wait, I didn't have an appointment so I was a grown up and waited. When Lauren and I chatted and she explained to me in very plain terms that a daith piercing is not scientifically proven to help migraines, but it would look pretty. I understood but I am willing to try anything so we went ahead with it- couldn't be any worse off than I currently am! Everything was fast, clean, professional, and worth a five star review. Honestly all the people who work there are rude. I've gone in several time with friends to get tattoos and the artists always treat you like you're stupid and don't know anything. I've even gone in there a couple times for piercing info and the piercers have acted like they don't want to help you. Just expect that when you go in everyone who works there is going to be annoyed that a paying customer just walked in. So the whole reason I'm writing this review is because of my experience yesterday... I pulled up outside to see/smell a man smoking weed. I walked in and asked about a tattoo and the lady at the desk said she would go and get the tattoo guy. So the guy who was smoking weed outside walks in and walks right by us no friendly greeting or anything (I don't know about you but if a man was just smoking weed I already don't trust him to tattoo a piece of work on my body)... so then he calls me over and ask what I needed, I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he goes no I can't do that. So I asked why not and he goes it's too small it will bleed. Keep in mind I waned it to be about 3 inches in my mind that's not a small tattoo at all. Basically he refused to do it unless it was going to be a $300 dollar tattoo. I went to another shop (white lotus) where I have always gotten great and friendly service and the man there reassured me they they are able to do a tattoo that small they would just have to tweak it a little bit so the lines won't bleed into each other. Autumn did my lobe and helix piercings, it was a very painless experience and she was very helpful, ( I had a lot of questions) I would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting a piercing. The place was spotless and the wait was less than 5 minuets. She also gave us some aftercare spray that is really helping. Went in with my husband and his brother to get their first tattoo together. I wish we would have caught the name of the guy sitting at the counter because he was a real gem. He was immediately rude and came off as if we were an inconvenience, even though we called ahead of time to make sure they were available. Next he insulted my brother-in-law by saying that the tattoo he wanted was one that 'girls get.' He has been wanting this design for over a year - who are you to judge!? Finally, the quotes he gave were way over priced. Honestly, I am glad he sent us running for the hills. We found a much nicer shop with kind staff,reasonable pricing, and beautiful work. I am disappointed to have to give such a poor review as I have dealt with their piercer, Autumn, who is very sweet and professional. While I can't say anything about the tattoo artists, I can speak to the fact that Autumn is an outstanding piercer. I hadn't had open lobe holes since I was in high school and I was a little bit nervous as I had a terrible experience many years ago where the piercer used a gun and it caused major bleeding and tons of pain. Autumn calmed me way down by being outstanding at her trade and explaining me through all of the details of the procedure. She is absolutely the cleanest piercer I have ever seen work as she even changed gloves multiple times just to be sure that there would be no cross contamination. I told her that my ears were crooked and that I didn't know if that would affect hole placement. She took the time to precisely mark the exact spot and let me check it before she pierced it. As a guy who will probably never get anything else pierced, I am very thankful I made the trek to Parker to get it done right by someone who is an expert in her field.Simply phenomenal experience and I would recommend her to family and friends alike. Autumn was great! Went into get my navel redone after my surgery 2 months ago. Could have done it myself but didn't feel comfortable. Since it had only been a few months so it was still open. The piercer autumn is a sweetheart and amazing. The rest of the shop (tattoo "artists") can suck it. They have the WORST attitudes EVER! I know there are some cocky artists out there but these guys aren't even that talented. The people that I have met who work here are truly unpleasant people. I went in and was not greeted or felt welcomed whatsoever. I got to the front desk and the man there did not even bother to turn around and say anything. I finally said something and he turned around and said nothing. He was very rude and short with me. He didn't care why I was there or what I was there for he didn't ask me anything. It was an awful experience! I've actually been there before to get a piercing in 2011 and the man who pierced me was mean and sarcastic and made me feel stupid for getting my nose pierced. It's been many years since I've been back but I went today and it was the same terrible experience as before. I will never recommend anyone to ever go there for anything. I advise people to go to real professionals who know how to be friendly and treat customers respectfully rather than treating them like they don't matter. When I first checked out the reviews on Bonaroo Tatoo, it was getting crushed (and not in a good way). That's never good, and I'm not sure where all these recent positive reviews came from in the last few weeks...Ultimately, the negative reviews I read about this place were the real deal. Sorry!CUSTOMER SERVICE - 1 Star - When I walked in, they ignored me, and they were on their iPhones and talking to their friends as previously stated so many times. They even tried to sluff it off by saying, "Oh, I thought you were with this group of my friends that I was talking to when you walked in." No, that's why no one stopped, turned, and said, "NORM!!!" I'm new and I definitely regret coming in here now.THE ARTIST - 0 Stars - I'll keep from naming names to protect the guilty, but this guy was high as a kite. Yes, I know it's legal, but show some respect! I showed up a little late for our 12:30pm appt. and this guy smelled like a dispensary. He bragged about his friend who "just got a tattoo," except his friend was higher than my tattoo artist. And he didn't have any ointment of his ink, or any wrap. Hmm... weird...Then this moron took 45 minutes to "prep" the station. Really!?!THE SHOP - 3 Stars - Looks clean (even the bathroom), no dirty needles, or groupies other than the girls there when I got there. Not bad.PROFESSIONALISM - 1 Star - Once I looked at the book on my tattoo artist, I thought it would be okay. Unfortunately, when I showed up, he smelled like a hemp factory, took 45 minutes to prep for my session, and hated my ideas for the tat. This is when it all really went south... I sent him pictures three days before the appt, which I thought was great, but when I told him what I wanted, he literally said, "That won't look good at all. I wouldn't put the picture of your tattoo in my portfolio, so you should go with my design." Wow! Thanks Sparky!Give me a break, kid. Then he wanted to shave me up to the shin for a simple ankle cover tattoo. That's when I remembered I AM THE CUSTOMER, and this will be on my leg for life. I argued gently for a while and he finally agreed to look at my designs (even though he wanted to use a player skate instead of a goalie skate as requested), and then I woke up and walked out...What a joke! No wonder why your schedule was open two days before... no one wants to use you guys unless they are green nosed rookies! Sorry. Called for information and/or to make an appointment. First got a gal on the phone. She was pleasant. She put me on "hold" (but I could hear the conversation) and she was clearly struggling with the guy she was talking to in the background. He got on the phone and was short with me immediately. "We don't take appointments, I have time now but might not in an hour, etc.". (Yeah, I get all of that). Then I tried to ask how long it would take to do a tattoo and he wouldn't answer my question (you need to come in, etc). I just want a tiny tattoo - a very simple symbol on the wrist - smaller than a dime. Pretty simple to estimate if you're a professional in the field (and professional acting enough to answer). I finally just said thanks and hung up. If you can't provide customer service on the phone, then I am not coming to you for a tattoo on my body.  My time is just as valuable as yours. Read Less

I will preface saying this review is for the shop itself and not on any actual tat work.  This shop has a very good vibe inside and is nice and clean.  The staff is all very friendly and certainly provided help during my whole experience.  I had a consultation with an artist Nick P but before my first appointment he moved to a different shop that was out of my reach.  I attempted to retrieve my deposit from Nick but he refused to even refund a partial amount.  I contacted the shop and the manager jumped right on the issue and was able to work with the owner and out of their own pocket reimbursed the full amount.  Amazing care provided! I have had many issues with This placeThey have refused to provide me with service at their shop, even though I am 18 with an ID but when I finally got service from them, the piercer autumn was terrible. She had an terrible attitude when I asked if she'd stretch my ears, she had me wait an entire hour then she did the stretching  wrong and when I was paying she told me not to come back and said for me to get my ears stretched some place else, I recommend Planet X tattoo and supply in aurora Because I Wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE Read Less

This place is AWESOME. I love coming here. Nick is an amazing artist and does incredible work. Have been working with him on a sleeve and have sat about 17 hrs. so far, and all that time has been enjoyable (as much as getting tattooed can be). Everyone here is super friendly and I feel very comfortable when getting my ink done. Nick is very professional and personable. When I had questions about the healing process and sent him an email he responded within 20 minutes and gave me advice and information on aftercare (more than what he gave me in the shop) and gave me his phone number to contact him if I had any issues. All I can say is WOW, you just don't get any better than that. So I have absolutely no problem telling everyone who compliments my ink (which happens quite a bit) that Nick at Bonaroo is the man to see for A++ work. Read Less

I have gotten several piercings done here and the service was just okay, but that was at least 6 or so years ago. Anyways, having read they were under new (better) management, I stopped by here twice recently (within the past few months) wanting a tattoo, only because this place is close to where I live. Both times, the place was completely empty and every single employee was just standing around doing nothing, and yet not one person acknowledged me. Really??? I could understand if they were busy, but they were literally standing around talking! Finally, some guy asked "oh did you need something?" I had been thinking of getting a coverup for along time; I had searched, drawn up ideas & visited many shops. One to keep nameless has done good work for my wife, but it has been hard for me to catch the artist. Not to mention I had not heard back from them for close to a year; it was a rather large piece but I could only wait so long. Since then I have got two tattoos from the bonaroo tattoo in Aurora and last night I was able to get a walk in at their Parker shop. Needless to say I finally found a great cover up and artist (Noah). I am very pleased with the work, I would go back again today. Eventually I will be in to get some more custom work, but what Noah had draw really fit what I was looking for, and I couldn't be happier. Sometimes things just come together, and after a long wait for some custom work elsewhere I was able to walk into Parker Bonaroo and left happier than I could have with my custom tattoo thoughts. Horriable customer service!!!! My mom and I last december 2013 were think about a mother daughter tattoo we wanted the word "promise' on the inside of our pinkies. I and my mom have tattoos already and know the "risks" of getting a tattoo that you can't cover up for, let's say a job, and also know where a tattoo will or won't hold up through the years. Yet after about a month of thought and going over it we decided that we still wanted to get it. I will be honest, we didn't do to much research on where to get the tattoo and from whom, that is my own fault and I have definitely learned my lesson!!We walked into the shop and one guy was on his phone, glanced at us and looked away. The girl was reading a book looked up and just starred at us. She didn't get up and great us or ask us how she can help, just starred. Finally we said what we were looking to get and then they both chimmed in to say what a horrible idea this is and that we shouldn't get it. The guy was telling us he even rolls down his sleves while he is driving so he doesn't get the attention of cops........ He was nice about it at least and seemed generally concerned that we shouldn't get it. The women on the other hand was very rude and seemed incredibly stuck up in her own way. Sorta like we were annoying her and keeping her from doing better things with her timeWe still insested so we started looking at fonts the women went on about how often this would need touched up because of were it was at. My mom and I already knew this. Yet she continued to make us feel stupid for just thinking about doing this. We both ended up walking out especially after hearing that 7 small thin letters, about  1 1/2 inches long was going to cost us 70 bucks!I understand it is there job to possibly help people out of making a very stupid descion when it comes to tattoos and placement, and I appreciate that they were trying to help out I guess. I've noticed the Bonaroo sign every time I drove down Parker Road, and I have been thinking about getting an additional piece of work done and no an Impulse I stopped in and started talking to Billy.I brought him a working copy I something I was thinking about, and with his experience working in Hawaii he was able to take my working copy and infuse the right amount of Polynesian flavor. Billy is the fifth artist I have worked with, and he listens to the customer and doesn't let his ego get in the way of making the customer happy.  The tattoo experience was great. My wife and I went here 5 years ago to get matching wedding tattoos and had an absolutely horrible experience. The artist was rude and it just all around sucky.So fast forward to now when I've gotten the tattoo itch again and was trying to find a place around where I could get a new one. I saw that Bonaroo went through a change of hands a couple years ago and all their reviews since are good.I decided to stop by and met Billy. He actually seemed a little more personable than some of the other artists I've talked to recently and seemed eager about doing my tattoo idea. I thought his prices seemed a little high (when compared to some of the other artists I've talked to about the same tattoo), but I kept thinking about his just because he seemed like a good guy and was the only one with any personality. For example, I went to Art with Heart and talked to one of the co-owners and he quoted me half the price but seemed blase about the whole thing and told me to text him specifics. I did, and never heard back from.Fast forward a few days later and I've completely changed what I wanted to get tattooed so went back to Billy to get his opinion on it. He quoted me a much more reasonable price (it was also a much less complex tattoo) and I decided to pull the trigger. He had some free time the next day early in the morning so I went for it.I thought the tattoo experience was good. He chatted the whole time, which was good. Took my mind off the pain. I went with my girlfriend, against my better judgement, to Bonaroo for her to get a new tattoo...after looking at the portfolios, we were so disappointed with the quality. We decided to no be permanently reminded of a bad decision by getting tattooed here. She and I aren't artist ourselves, but wow, even we knew that what we saw was horrible. I WOULD NEVER GET A TATTOO AT BONAROO. We went somewhere else, The Tattoo Shop at Iliff and Chambers, and thank goodness we got an artist to give us something we could be pround of.
