I had Chelsea do my 8th tattoo. She was extremely patient with me redoing the stencil multiple times as I was particular about the location. Chelsea is incredibly light handed! Bad shop policies. Artists don't sand behind their work. Owner calls police on people for trying to get pictures of tattoos that weren't even done at that shop taken off the shop website. So he also falsely advertise the work done there. Calls people using their first amendment rights harassment just because he doesn't like it. I have a right to freely state my opinion about his bad shop policies and use of pictures he doesn't have the rights to use. Read Less

I was very impressed with this studio. I caught my stomach dermal on my watch and ripped part of it out of my belly. I went over to this studio on my lunch break thinking I wld either have to come back another time, or they wld have to take it out. Even though I came in last second, the front desk guy was very kind. After that, Jake took me back and not only was able to put it back in, but he was super nice! Great place. Fit us in with jakes apprentice Josh. Was patient as we had a year old running amuck and teething badly. Was freaking awesome.  I nursed my baby during my friends tattoo! No issues. Did awesome color and was very patient, like beyond beyond courteous. Clean safe and no issues when she cried a few times from jake or staff or even the clients there. Professional and easy going in the same go. As a medical professional myself and I have received tattoos from other places and here two years back, quality is by far extremely important to them as well as being human and kind. Found Jake Doyle's portfolio on Instagram and was really impressed with his work. Great stuff. However, after stopping into the studio this morning I was highly unimpressed. I showed up at the studio just after noon (when they opened) and waited in my car for ten minutes as the open sign was off and the studio was dark. I eventually went to the door to see what was up and the door was open so I walked inside. There were three guys (obvious employees) standing next to or behind the counter. I greeted them with a friendly hello and informed them that their open sign was off. My greeting was returned with silence and blank stares. The studio was totally dark and gloomy. Not a single light was on. I walked up and asked for information about Jake. Their only response was "OK" and nothing more. Instead of being offered information such as Jakes rate and booking info/wait time I had to prompt every response. One of the employees was interested in his lunch and nothing more. After the painful and highly uninformative conversation I said goodbye and yet again was greeted with only silence. After spending quite a bit of time at NoCo Studio getting a sleeve done by Jake, I have to say, without question, that it is my favorite tattoo shop. Jake is an amazing artist. His work is clean, detailed and completely custom. The care he put into creating my sleeve definitely exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with my entire experience at NoCo Studio. Everybody in the shop is friendly and inviting, and I think all of the artists are very skilled. In fact, my boyfriend and I have both had tattoos done by Eli, and we were extremely satisfied. I came in with a request for a very sentimental tattoo and didn't give many details aside from what I wanted incorporated into it. Jeremy took the information and came up with a design that was far beyond my expectations. The finished product brought tears to my eyes and is exactly what I had hoped for as a tribute to my parents. The atmosphere is pleasant and all of the artists are very outgoing and easy to talk to.
