I was just in Junkyard Ink for the 5th time, seeing Dray.  He just completed a gorgeous Faerie themed full sleeve.  I LOVE Dray's art so much!  He has a great sense of color and is very easy to communicate with.  Check out his fine art!  I totally dig his personality and the cool stories he has to share. I recommend him to everyone who compliments me on my tattoos.  Also, regarding Junkyard Ink, the entire shop...don't believe the negative reviews on here.  Every time I've been in this shop, I've been treated with nothing but professional politeness, and respect.  This is not a shop with any artists with attitude.  Of course, like most artists, they have witty sarcastic senses of humor.  If someone can't take a little joking, they should go to a more common shop in Boulder.  These people are unique, human, funny, and nice to you if you are respectful to them.  Every single one of them is super talented! I'd go back time and time again.  (Also regarding Adrian: he is 1.) no longer affiliated with Junkyard. 2.) his Instagram posts are meant to be funny. and not to be taken seriously.  He doesn't show anything at all, but pretends to strip.). It's actually pretty hilarious. And it has nothing to do with Junkyard Ink. So maybe rather than write damaging and disparaging things about Junkyard, you could just grow a pair and UNFOLLOW rather than knock down an excellent business's rating. I was in about a week ago and Adrian was my artist. He made this the best experience I have had getting a tattoo. I had made an appointment with him and told him an idea of what I wanted. What he drew up for me was exactly what I had in mind. He was very patient with me resizing and choosing placement. He didn't aim to cause more pain that what was already expected with getting a tattoo. He was very personable with me and made me feel very comfortable with him giving me a tattoo. I've taken off the covering be placed on for healing and the lines are so clean! The color is vibrant, I absolutely love it. I love this tattoo shop. It is cool and unique because the artists are just that; artists. They all draw and represent a really cool extension of the tattoo artist world as they explore different media all the time. I think this makes for a better tattoo artist and experience. Do you want a great experience, a piece of art on your body done by an artist who is actually a professional?  Then Junkyard Ink in Louisville is the place for you. Chris did a large coverup piece on my leg for me and I couldn't be happier. Not only is this the most beautiful tattoo on my body (I have 13) but this tattoo has been the easiest to take care of and has healed up nicer than any other tattoo I have gotten. The shop is extremely clean and welcoming. I got the feeling that all of the artists here are genuine, nice, and actually care about their clients. I have heard good positive reviews about Junkyard ink.....until a guy that works there by the name of TJ Hills started talking trash about other tattoo artist and shops. I have viewed his work and it is very unprofessional and very sloppy work. I was considering getting a series of 3 larger tattoos at this shop but now I will reconsider. Even though there is others at this shop that earn the name of very talented "Tattoo Artist", he has tarnished the reputation of this shop. TERRIBLY disappointed with Anna! I met with Chris who was awesome and said "Anna is your girl." After over a month of requesting art samples from her, there was not only no art sent but barely any reply to my texts.I wasted a month of my time waiting for her. No one should be that flaky and expect to have good results with potential customers.Meanwhile I called Inksmith today and they cannot wait to meet me and make sure I am well taken care of. I am ABSOLUTELY thrilled! I went to Bolder Ink and Smokey Banana early today to consult about a small tattoo in the handwriting of Steinbeck. Both Bolder Ink and Smokey Banana were plenty clean and professional but I felt uncomfortable and talked down to, where as Ivan at Junkyard made me feel incredibly comfortable and listened to exactly what I wanted instead of trying to do it in his style alone. I cannot recommend Ivan more, he was friendly and understanding and the work he created is beautiful. Pricey if your tattoo is small and would be below the 100$ minimum but absolutely worth every penny. Read Less
