After looking at other artist in the area for wildlife (wolf) and cover up tattoos I came across Main Street Tattoo. Santos is an amazing artist. Only in town for another day and wanted a tattoo.  We dropped in and luckily there had been a cancellation.  The customer service was awesome.  The artists in the shop all have a good relationship as they was kidding and laughing.  The shop was really clean and well maintained.  As for our tattoos, Mike did an awesome job on the tat's- the lines were clean and color great.  Great music played and conversation relaxed.    Awesome experience.  I would highly recommend Main Street Tattoo. Walked in, was slightly overwhelmed because this was my first tattoo experience and was immediately greeted by the very polite and awesome front desk lady. Less than 5 min there, (and after filling out paperwork), I was immediately given to Sancho, who did a phenomenal job on my tattoos and my friend's tattoo. He made sure I liked what I saw before I gave him the final ok and I'm pretty sure he knew I was nervous because he made me check again to make sure the tattoo was where I wanted it to be and it looked good! This shop by far beat out its largest competitors in the area. The experience I had from the moment I walked in the door is something I did not get from the other shops I visited that day. I shop for a tattoo like I would anything that is important to me as it is permanent. The first shop I went in to barely spoke to me 10 Min about my two large tattoo investments. That shop is a very well known and reputable company. Another shop just flat out didn't show interest in my tattoo work I wanted. I was met by I believe Jamie at the front. She was courteous and approached me quickly with zero wait. She then referred me to the artist Sancho. Not only did he sit down with me and go over possible designs he didn't do it 10 Min or less. He actually cared about what I wanted and was happy to take the job. We sat for nearly an hour putting together our collaboration. It turned out amazing!!! I will be back and I will refer anyone that asks me where to go to get a tattoo. The shop was clean and organized and very inviting all while not being too big of a place that you get lost or become a number. The location is very convenient with lots of parking. Went in for a consult at Main St Tattoo which went ok.  The guy seemed competent and told me he was 'wide open' to get me in.  Gave me his email and asked for pictures to do some sketches and then we would schedule the appointment.  After sending the pics with a few other follow up questions I forgot to ask in person I got no reply.  Guessed he was working on it and I didn't want to be too pushy.  Almost two weeks later I still hadn't heard anything so I reached out again.  Nicely said I was anxious to get it started and wondered if he had any sketches I could look at.  No response.  Reached out again a few days later to say I wasn't waiting anymore.  I would have been happy with a "piss off.  I'm busy...", but I got literally nothing.  For a guy that's 'wide open' that's pretty low.  Oh yeah, and I flew family in to help with my kids to get the work done...  guess I'm out that money.  Thanks Main St Tattoo...  for what?  Literally nothing... I am getting a sleeve done by  Candace. I went in about 4 mths ago and asked her if she could pull of a candy land theme with my favorite characters from the 80s ( care bears, my little pony, strawberry shortcake, rainbow bright). What she has done on my sleeve is amazing, I work at Wal-Mart and I have customers that come up to me and take pictures of my arm cause they are so amazed how colorful and how detailed it is. I love Candace so much and she definitely has a customer for a life. The other artist that work there are also amazing and friendly, every time I go there I walk out with a smile cause they treat you like your one of there friends. I walked in and they were able to take me in shortly after. All, so friendly and the music in the shop was great taste, which helps take some of the sting out of getting a tattoo. Got some work done by Mike and loved it! His professionalism and his skill helped get me through a huge piece in just about 6 hours of work. He works fast while still providing great work. I moved to Colorado from Boston and I have been trying to find a tattoo artist since! I was stoked to find out my old artist from Boston was moving here and working at Main Street tattoo. This is a good shop. I have been in a lot of tattoo shops and I have to say this one has the best atmosphere. I live in Canada. 3 years ago I was in Colorado visiting friends and had my first tattoo done at MST. I now have 7 tattoos and everyone has been done at 720 MST. I have went to Main Street Tattoo several times over the past few years. Santos usually does my tattoos and I have not been disappointed once. One was to cover a horrible tattoo I got somewhere else. I went in with several pics of what I liked, he drew one up based on what I like and I constantly get compliments on it. The place is clean and sanitary. Was very taken aback stepping in here. Though I know tattoo parlors are supposed to reflect a bit of a "hardened" culture inside because of the nature of the industry, I felt the environment went a little far. I was greeted gruffly when I opened the door to the shop (if I could call it a greeting), and after I wasn't helped for more than ten minutes I finally decided to leave. I think they are taking the "hardcore" culture a little too seriously at this shop, which is too bad because it's a great location and the artists seem to have potential (their portfolios could use some TLC because the books look uncared for). About a week ago, I got my ear pierced here during their $20 piercing sale, and all was fairly normal until yesterday, about five days later. My ear was hurting and I thought it was just the average "new piercing" hurt, until it started swelling up to the size of an orange. Long story short, I ended up going to the ER and now I have to take 6 antibiotic pills a day. Everybody who treated me at the ER agreed that they had to have used dirty/non-sterilized tools.
