Super disappointed! This place USED TO BE the place to go. Now its just a meat market for the counter girls to flirt with anybody who walks in. Paid for a small accessory for the incredibowl which was way overpriced to begin with... Went to ask my husband (watching our youngest kiddo in the car) if it was the right one...Went back within 2 minutes of swiping my card... didnt even leave the parking lot and they wouldnt exchange or refund my money. Alright, I'm biased because my wife works here and I've come to know a few of the employees as friends, but here's what I think from an outside perspective. It seems like the staff -from the top of the totem pole to very bottom- share a solid enthusiasm for the work they do. The higher-ups are always making changes here and there to keep the experience fresh for the customers and the employees always seem to be in the loop with everything that goes on upstairs. When new merchandise comes in, it seems like everyone is excited to try it out which leads to first hand experience to relay to the customers. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. Often times, I feel very novice when it comes to all of the new gadgets and paraphernalia. But, the staff at Freakys never hesitates to instruct and inform! Didn't catch his name unfortunately, but 'counter guy' killed it with his customer service skills and patience. Pushy sales people are horrifying... I was here to get my nipple re pierced which was done by Jared.. he was amazing as well with his quick yet steady grace!! Not awkward at all, especially with such a personal part of me. Customer service is like pulling teeth with the young blond girl behind the counter who had no  idea what she was talking about consult with three different people and still got what we wanted wrong. Horribe! I have had my monroe pierced for 3 years. I got a new job and had to take it out the first day (even tho I found out the 2nd day it was okay to have in) and I couldnt put the jewelery back in myself. So the next day I went to freakys to get it put back in and the piercer said it was closed and I had to get it re-pierced for $40. (I had just had an earrings stud in it the car ride over but took it out before I walked in). So I went to bound by design and they had NO PROBLEM threading it in and they did it for free. (Fyi-the gauge for an regular earring stud is much smaller than the gauge of a monroe piece of jewelery, thats why I couldnt put it in myself. If any of my professional pieces of body jewelery fall out I have to get them professionally threaded in.). I even went right back to freakys after to prove that it wasnt really closed and that they were trying to scam me. NO REBUTTAL. They mustve thought I was an idiot and was just going to fork my $ over. SHAME ON YOU! My husband and me went in here in the middle of the day on a week day for a specific item. We were greeted by four or five very friendly employees who were tripping over themselves to help us. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the person who helped us specifically, but she was super helpful. This place does have a lot of pot smoking stuff, but they DO also have clothes, snacks, and body jewelry. I have been going to Sol Tribe with mixed feels the last few times I got pierced but after seeing how clean and nice this place is on the inside I think I may get my next piercing here. Read Less
