Tainted Hearts is the perfect place to go if you want a piercing artist who knows nothing about piercing and everything about scarring people's faces. This establishment is also perfect for having a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. If I could give this place zero stars, I would gladly do so. The tattoo minimum here is $40 and that’s awesome if you’re a college student and on a budget. HOWEVER you’re literally getting what you paid for. The work was good and there really aren’t any complaints in that department. I went with three family members who all got fairly simple tattoos (mainly outlines with slight shading) all of which could be done in 10-20 minutes and the whole ordeal lasted 2 ½ hours. Again, all three look great. The tattooing wasn’t what took 2 ½ hours but rather the vulgar conversation brought by the tattoo artist/owner. The work was often stopped completely for these conversations. At one point he stopped tattooing, went to another artist and proceeded to make fun of a customer that walked in. My cousin had an idea of a simpler tattoo and he told her he wouldn’t do it because it wouldn’t look good and he wanted to add more to it and was very persistent about it. If you can handle feeling uncomfortable during your tattoo okay, but I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

If you want a cheap piercing it's fine, but the staff was unprofessional and intimidating, my piercing got infected quickly even though I followed their instructions adamantly, and it definitely wasn't the cleanest place I've seen. Had to take out my piercing and have it redone in a different town. I didn't have the best experience, but if you go there I hope yours is better. Read Less

This place is really unprofessional. I went in for a small color in and it took over 2 hours. My tattoo artist was yelling at her husband and spent 30 min dealing her her son. In the end my tattoo didn't come out as I wanted it to either. Would not recommend it. Read Less

I love love love my new tattoo. I wanted to sleep with the lights on so i could stare at it! Xan was so personable which made my four hours in the chair much easier. She exceeded my expectations. And took her time making the perfect piece of art on me. I can't wait for my next one already and I've not even healed yet. The atmosphere was both inviting and fun to be in. I had a small tattoo on my wrist that was messed up from the beginning, from one artist, tried to get it covered by another artist, who did a decent job, it just never got finished. Went in to see Xan just over a year ago, she fixed it, finished it, and added to it. It is a tribute to my mommy, and had her handwriting in it and even that is dead on, plus the color is still looking great. They are all super friendly and fun to be around. I was not Impressed at all with my belly piercing it was totally lopsided he didn't even use any tool or mark to pierce he just stuck it in, plus I don't believe he even sterilized the belly ring.
