I got my first piercing today with Amy. Everyone in the shop was wonderful and super helpful. Amy was amazing at keeping me calm and explaining everything that she was doing through the process. I have gotten two tattoos (my first two tattoos, ever) here by J.D. and one piercing done by Amy. They are both very friendly and they do their best to keep you from getting too nervous! My tattoos are excellent, have healed perfectly, and make me very happy. My piercing was a septum piercing, and this was my second time getting it pierced as it was pierced incorrectly at another establishment. It healed perfectly as well, and I am grateful for the help with figuring out my correct piercing placement. This place has put so many holes in my body. Amy and Keisha are both amazing people and super skilled at what they do! The piercings are affordable and you can come back in to have the piercers check on them if you are worried during the healing process. They also have skilled tattoo artists. The piercer here is not only incredibly nice and knowledgeable about her job but she's very professional, quick, and makes the experience as painless as possible. I've been pierced off and on by Amy for the last decade and it is ALWAYS a pleasure! She is consistently patient and charming and clearly knows what she's doing. Her concern for health and safety is always evident. Several years ago I got both my rooks pierced at the same time. One of them became excruciatingly painful overnight and I got into a doctor in the morning who prescribed me antibiotics for the infection. When I called Amy to check in and get her advice as well, she agreed going to a doctor was the right thing to do and advised me on what to do if i wanted to remove the piercing or not. The interaction felt totally professional and she made me feel a lot more comfortable than the doctor had. (The infection was taken care of and I still have both rook piercings to this day. What baffles me about other reviews is any mention of infection or serious pain where the reviewer didn't see a fucking doctor ASAP? Especially if you've been pierced multiple times you should know what's normal and NOT NORMAL)Most recently I went in to get my nipples pierced. Originally I had them pierced years ago somewhere else and thought they looked "off" but because they healed just fine and I didn't question it until my friend was looking into it herself. We talked with Amy who said my nipples had been pierced 1) too shallow, 2) with a curved barbell, 3) at 16g. She informed me I was lucky they had healed at all, didn't reject, OR split my nipples. Yikes! I took them out and had her repierce them. She did a beautiful job, I love them! Amy also suggested my friend wait on getting hers done due to some personal details about her situation- she doesn't just want your money or business, Amy consistently shows the utmost care for her clients and their ultimate safety and success of the piercings.I have probably two dozen stories about what a trustworthy delight Amy is, but I've also been pierced by Krisha as well. I had my septum done by her several years ago and she patiently and skillfully worked with me to get the position of the septum ring where I wanted in a way that was accommodated by my unique anatomy. Her care in helping me set realistic expectations while also managing to give me exactly what I wanted was invaluable. For me, the shop can be a little loud up front where you can hear the tattoo machines and loud music, but every experience I've had here in the last eleven years has been safe and rewarding. I GOT A STAPH INFECTION FROMTHIS PLACE. DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE!!! As a preface, I have 21 piercings and have been pierced at multiple shops. I take very good care of my piercings and make sure they stay clean. This is the ONLY infected piercing I have ever had in my entire piercing career. I went in to get a piercing about a year ago. Even though I cleaned it religiously during the healing process, it was still swollen and oozing pus and in horrible pain for months and months. I couldn't even touch my ear without it hurting. I finally went to the dermatologist who took a culture of the pus and determined it was a staph infection. After two rounds of antibiotics and it is finally almost cleared up. Luckily I do not need surgery to remove it but that was the first option. The doctor said if I had tried to remove the piercing myself, the infection could have spread to my brain.My friend came with and also  got pierced the same day. Despite cleaning it twice a day everyday with the sea salt water, her piercing never healed correctly either and she went to the dermatologist earlier this week and got a call back today. She ALSO has a staph infection. What are odds of that!!!! I hate that I have to leave a review like this but I don't want anyone else to have to go through this! Read Less

I have been here to be pierced twice. The first time was last March and I got my cartilage pierced by Amy. She is a real peach and had a super calming voice. She definitely helped ease my anxiety and did a wonderful job. The girl up front also was super helpful and really lovely. I then went back last October and had my nipples pierced by someone else who had just had shoulder surgery and was still shaking. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and I had no problem at the time. My friend who went with me, however, almost passed out due to the fact that the piercer couldn't stick the needle in her ear and she was bleeding so much. I followed the aftercare procedures but my piercing still hurt for months after. Now (a year later) they never healed correctly and I have a staph infection. I came in today to get a daith piercing, as I hear they help some people with their migraines. The minute I walked in, the lovely associate helping at the front desk was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The parlor itself is very clean and the atmosphere is very chill and calming. I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my piercing, and the artist, Amy, was absolutely incredible. She was so personable and a great conversationalist. The piercing hurt like crazy but it was very obvious that Amy was trying her hardest to be gentle and make it as painless as she possibly could. It's also important to note that I called multiple piercing places before choosing this one, and every single place quoted me at least $40 more than the completely reasonable price, which started at $35 and went up depending in what piece of jewelery you chose. I 100% recommend this parlor to anybody who is looking for a piercing, and I am already planning to come back for my nose piercing. :)Read Less

I was at the shop four days ago and bought a nose ring and an eyebrow ring (which I use as a nipple ring) for $30 each which is more than I even paid for the piercing and the first set of jewelry (not both). I showered ONCE and lost both of them in the shower. Luckily I was able to find my septum ring and ball, but lost the ball to the eyebrow ring. Almost 60 dollars right down the drain when they swear by their quality and pricing. So I go into the shop to see if they can give me a new ball since I was just there days ago and was upset. They wanted to charge me for one ball. I didn't think it was fair that these "quality" jewelry should be falling off that easily and refused to pay for it, so she said she would ask the piercing lady what she could do.  She comes out snarky as hell before I could even tell her what happened ... I assume the front desk lady told her someone was trying to get free shit. I get it. But when I just spent $60 I'm not trying to keep throwing my money there and down the drain every time I shower. She was saying how it's not in her power and prices were raised blah blah blah. You run a tattoo shop. People barter on tattoo prices all the time. You're not fooling anyone, nor are you giving good service. I'm not saying you need to give away free shit to have good service. But don't come out of the back giving me attitude when I just spent my money at your establishment. & to think I was going to bring my friend to get her nose pierced on my trip back there today. No thanks. Next time I'll go to one of the plenty other tattoo shops for my services. P.s. They got 3 stars because she ended up giving it to me on the house only after repeating herself many times, me still upset. So I said whatever, I'll pay for it, you're getting a nice yelp review. I really wanted to love this place. The lady at the counter is sweet and helpful. Amy also is super sweet. I was NOT pierced by Amy but I was pierced by someone else there who had just had shoulder surgery. When I was told she has just had shoulder surgery and was still shaking, I should have decided against getting the piercing. I got my cartilage pierced back in September. The bar used was very long and kept getting caught in my hair. I knew that the bar had to be long at first for healing. However, I was NOT told that I needed to go in 2 months later to get a shorter bar. As a result, the piercing healed crooked. I spent $150 there and had to remove the piercing. I loved the piercing but I couldn't keep it due to it healing improperly. Also a red flag that I allowed someone who just had shoulder surgery and was still shaking pierce people. It's dangerous. I went into Phantom 8 today for nipple piercings and was extremely pleased with my experience. I was nervous about being exposed and getting woozy but my piercer Amy was so kind and genuinely made me feel comfortable there. I'll definitely be going back to her for any future piercings! My tattoo artist, Brian "Wonder Boy" Adam's spent the next 10 hours working on an adaptation of one of my paintings, ChatuChalk Bangkok Burning. My first painting after my return from my first trip to Thailand. I love the tattoo but I still have to have the touchup, minor but needed. It wraps around my right bicep so it was quite the experience to do as a one sitting tattoo, not for the faint at heart. I have had too many compliments to recount on this work of art. I had a great experience with Amy getting my nose pierced! I went in one day and they didn't have a piercer because of a medical emergency, but they were very helpful in getting me a coupon and letting me know when a piercer would be available again. I called the night before I went in and put a stud on hold because I was looking for something more discrete. I came in the next day and the stud was exactly what I had imagined. Amy sterilized everything and walked me through the whole process. I was fairly nervous because I had no idea what to expect, and she was so patient and kind with me the whole time. She told me exactly what she was doing, made sure I liked the placement, and the piercing was quick and so painless compared to other piercings I have had. The whole time, she was very gentle, sweet, and kind with me, and made me feel totally normal for crying. I felt very comfortable with her. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that new nose piercings come with an L shaped stud. It has since fallen out in my sleep, but I noticed first thing in the morning and sterilized it and got it back in no problem. Overall, I was very happy. I was very indecisive on what peircing and jem I wanted but everyone who helped was very patient and informative and gave a ton of suggestions. The four of us walked in on a Friday night interested in getting various piercings, after we read great reviews about the place online. We were greeted promptly with fantastic customer service. Each of us were interested in different piercings and the staff took the time to chat with us about what we wanted, what they recommended, and what our options were. Amy did all of our piercings, three different ear piercings, a nose, and a clavicle dermal. I was super impressed with Amy's professional and knowledgable demeanor. Wow, what a great experience going to Phantom 8.  I went to get my nose pierced and in comparison to my experience getting it done years back it was relatively painless! Amy was so great and educated me on everything I needed to know as well as their sanitation practices. I walked in and was blown away by cute out the staff was and how clean the actual location was. I got a custom tattoo from JD at Phantom 8 and overall it was a great experience. The people were generally friendly and helpful giving me my first tattoo. The level of detail is excellent, color is great, it healed quickly, and I thought JD had a very light touch, because it didn't really hurt at all. Do follow their instructions for after care. These guys are truly talented. I brought in my own design, and Aaron knew exactly how to draw it up. This was my first tattoo, so I was pretty nervous, but he made me feel very comfortable and it was obvious that he is an expert in his craft.
