KCO is awesome! I went in to get a vegvisir compass tattoo (my first ever) and he was very comforting and honest. His designs on his website are pretty different from what I got, but he was fantastic at it. He made sure I was comfortable with the placement of the tattoo. Highly recommend this shop 10/10. KC specializes in American Traditional tattooing, but was able to do anything I asked for in any style I wanted. He was patient and humble and answered all of my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. Even when I told him I wanted to shop around at first, he genuinely went through all the tattoo shops in the area and gave me recommendations for other artists. Really glad I ultimately decided to go with KC at Ritual. I live in MD, but I can't imagine going to anyone else for future tattoos. Read Less

I recently got a tattoo at Ritual and everyone in the shop was very friendly, at both my consult appointment as well as when I came in to get tattooed which was definitely different than other tattoo shops that I've been to. Rochelle did my tattoo and she did an absolutely amazing job. She was reassuring and was very accommodating in squeezing me in early since I was getting a smaller tattoo. This space is beautiful! Very cool shop with great art everywhere you look. Ample street parking too. The artists are all friendly and create epic pieces; on people a well as a variety of artistic mediums. We saw Sal Tino for some wedding bands a couple weeks back. He does really beautiful work and is a super nice guy to boot! This is a great tattoo shop, and located pretty close to downtown in the Northside. Read Less

Jake did an incredible job with my tattoo. After our consultation, I emailed him a list of things I wanted to incorporate into my first sleeve. He knocked the design out of the park. The tattoo itself is incredibly clean and true to what I wanted. I am obsessed with what he did. Jake is nice, interesting, funny, and immensely talented. The shop itself is incredibly clean and the artwork everywhere is really sweet. The receptionist was totally welcoming and accommodating. People can't get over how great my new piece is...I have been dropping Jake's name since I got the tat. I HIGHLY recommend Ritual Tattoo as well as Jake. I can't wait to finish the piece with color.
