This is the best tattoo shop I have very been to. I have been seeing Ben Thompson for about 4 years, he's done an amazingly beautiful back/side piece for me and we are currently work on my sleeve which I went in today to have some color put in and it is more beautiful then I could have imagined. He's so taltend not just with his drawing skills to make you the excat tattoo you want but the way he adds color and shading to his pieces is out of this world. I have been tattooed 5+ times at this shop since it opened, so I feel like I'm qualified to critique this place. The artists are solid, with JHer being as good as anyone in the city. While I haven't been tattooed by him, he also seems to be seen to earth. Then there is Ben. I received several solid tattoos from him before he seemed to change. On several occasions, my appointments were pushed back so that he could accommodate young female walk-ins. There were literally no occasions when he was on time. In fact, I genuinely can't recall a time that he even began drawing within an hour of the appointment time. On another occasion, I popped by to buy a shop t-shirt, and Nik couldn't be bothered to take time out of his day to sell me one. It simply doesn't feel good to be treated like a second class citizen, particularly when you've been a consistent customer. Perhaps worst of all, the have tattoo that Ben did for me blew (to be fair, hands are  'tude, unless you are a pretty young woman. I had read the other reviews saying how wonderful this shop was. I'm from out of town visiting on spring break and decided it was finally time I got the tattoo I've been dreaming of all school year. I walked in and was created warmly right away by Seth (who would eventually become my artist). We talked about the quick basics, bottom line price, the design I wanted, everything like that. I hardly had any wait time (even as a walk in). I described to Seth what I wanted and showed him an inspiration photo and he gave me everything I hoped for and more. He didn't mind my questions (since it was my first tattoo) and was very kind. I got a feather quill with a calligraphic quote and it's so beautiful. If I lived in town and wanted to get another I would for sure go back to get one there. The atmosphere was amazing as well. Nick Pew is one amazing tattoo artist, he did a cover up on me which turned out incredible, he just free handed the design and went for it. The colors he choose to use go perfect with my skin tone. I get complains on it all the time and he is now the family's tattoo artist. If you want amazing ink I'd suggest going to Landmark Tattoo it's a great place to get ink and the environment is very well fit for a tattoo parlor. Absolutely love this place. My tattoo design is very detailed and Jher has exceeded all expectations completley. Seth did a tattoo for my ex boyfriend and nailed it. I look forward to each session because everyone that works there is awesome and funny. I laughed at the review written by Mary P complaining about smoke breaks and rudeness. You're in a tattoo parlor, not your mother's hair salon. Smoke breaks and personality dryness are not things that you should take offensively at a tattoo place. Also, did I mention I live in Texas and won't let anyone touch my arm with a tattoo gun but Jher? The plane ticket plus the cost of the tattoo is well worth the money spent. Read Less

This place is awesome once you're able to actually get an appointment. My tattoo turned out well with clean lines and the wording and spacing were on point (except for the last word- more on that in a minute). I came prepared about their cash only policy but was rescheduled not once, not twice, but three times before I actually got in the chair. The original artist I wanted ended up not being available so then they jerked me around until they found someone with an opening (ok....). Once I got to my appointment it took over 40 mins for the artist to set up and prepare which I thought was nonsense considering i was the first appointment of the day. He should have gotten there early to set up instead of leaving a customer in the waiting room for that long. Bah hum bug. The shop is really cool & the work he did was good however the entire time I was sitting there he was going on and on about how eclectic his music taste is and telling me the entire history of his crazy ex-gf. Ehh could have done without the complete lowdown on his life. Also on the last word of my tattoo the ink has a lot of skin peeking through so i'll have to go back for a touch up sooner than I'd like. It seemed like he got tired so in comparison the last word isn't as tight or dark as the other ones. Overall good work but there needs to be more organization and professionalism. Read Less

The shop is super clean and friendly.  All of the artist are really amazing!  The staff is so helpful. I have been tattooed by Jher, Seth, and Ben but I hoped to collect a piece from all of the artists. Sometimes there is a wait for appointments, but for something you will have FOREVER its worth the wait. Seth was AWESOME! He did an amazing job on my rib tattoo. (hummingbird)  Not only was the art perfect (straight lines and great color shadowing), he spent quality time talking me through the details and gave some excellent advice on positioning.  I also appreciated how he valued his work. He really took time in making it his own art and suggested some additional touches that added some splashed of his own style which really pulled the whole job together. I highly recommend him! Let's get down to it. A tattoo is the process of scarring your body with ink using various sizes of needles. Yes, it can be painful. Yes, the healing process is nasty. And, yes, the final result can either be beautiful or disastrous.Luckily for me, I went to Landmark and, so far, the result is beautiful. I walked in on a Wednesday and made an appointment for Thursday. The gal at the counter (I think her name is Shay) was incredibly sweet and walked me though what they would need from me. Here's a couple of tips for the shop:-The minimum is $60-There's a $100 deposit-They are CASH ONLYThey have an ATM in the back, but if you come prepared, you can save yourself $3 in ATM fees.My artist was Seth and he was fantastic. We talked for a bit about what I wanted. He offered his input and prodded me for a little more from me (I can be a rather "Oh, you know what looks good, just make it look pretty" type of person, which isn't a great thing when you're getting something permanent on your body) until we got what I was looking for.It's so easy to think, "Oh, tattoo shop, all those rebels working under one roof, it must be chaos." But I would say that you couldn't be further from the truth. Everyone who works here is a professional. They keep a very accurate appointment system and everyone is very reliable. That being said, chances of you hearing the f-bomb are about 100%. Which, for me, is just wonderful.The place is decorated very much like an old school tattoo parlor with a twist. There are animal heads all of the wall and a very chilling stuffed fox greets you at the front desk. There is artwork all over the walls and each station is unique to the artist's tastes. But, because of the big windows in front, it's still really bright in shop and it doesn't feel like some seedy back alley tattoo parlor.I would recommend this place to anyone.
