We went in with three pretty last minute appointments, and one of the girls was completely uncertain about what she wanted. Cody and Evan were fantastic and very patient. We totally ambushed the place and I know it took way longer than anyone planned, but they were so awesome and did an incredible job. Our appointments were in the evening and the place/location looks a little unclear from the outside, but it's very very clean and professional inside which I was happy to see. Been here 3 times already, once for a touch up and it's hands down one of the best shops if not the best I've been too. Just got my 7th tat today done by the man Bird. If you need a professional, polite, and awesome guy for tats with a plethora of skills then he is your man. I'm sure the rest of the staff is just as awesome but I'm going with who I've been to. This hidden gem is absolutely amazing! I'm so glad my gf told me about this place and had recommended me to see Chris T. I booked my appointment with Chris about 5 months ago. Obviously, it's a long time to get a first tattoo, but it gave me a lot of time to think about what I really wanted. The day finally came 10/7/17 was when I got my first tattoo. (Half sleeve) the artwork Chris provided was everything I wanted. It was a reminder and dedication to my grandpa that had pasted away 7 yrs ago. The details of the tattoo are on point from the lines to the shadowing. It was a 3 and half hr process, but well worth the pain.  Chris did an awesome job and I can't wait to book my next appointment. His pricing is very fair for the work. If you are looking for an epic intense piece such as a rugged samurai or out of this world koi fish and such the owner Chris is your man. If you want something uni...que and or a realistically detailed piece or just about any other style you want , bird will take care of you. He is my artist and man a picture of him should be under the word professional in he dictionary. From start to finish his welcoming style and amazing ideas along with being very well paced will have you planning your next one before the session is even over. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly artists. Good conversation. I stumbled upon Harbour lights after going to all the other shops in town and not liking the vibe, either the artists or the shop. I like how they incorporated a barber shop with tattooing to keep the classic tradition. I was able to get a shape up while I waited for my tattoo to be drawn. I rated 4 stars because parking is limited. Other than that this is my go to place, I have 8 tattoos from all over the world and I'm glad one of them is from here. Wedged in between a liquor store and an Advanced Auto Parts, Harbor Lights Social Club is hidden and a tad bit difficult to find because they have yet to erect a sign, pending permits of course.  Parking may be a hassle and I would highly recommend parking your vehicle across the street while darting through incoming traffic like Frogger making your way up the stairs and through the double doors where you'll be greeted by the owner, Chris Tran, and his friendly laid back staff, before it's time to inflict some pain. The music is blaring and the buzzing noise from the tattoo gun echoes across the entire room.  Along the maroon painted walls are collections of eclectic artwork from various friends and cohorts. Since the shop first opened for business, Chris has been working arduously 7 days a week so appointments are highly recommended because he's usually booked up a couple of months in advance.  Which is a pretty good indication of just how good this guy is.  Give him an idea of what you want and watch him roll with it, adding his own touches.  After the stencil is completed, it's time to get inked up!  Though he's fast, he's also meticulous with his work.  Ensuring everything is done right and that you're completely satisfied.  He's the ultimate professional.  Very talented yet remains humble while striving to perfect and hone his skills.  I recently came in for a 3/4 sleeve with some cover up work and couldn't be more happier with what he's done thus far.  No ragrets nah sayin'?Also if you're in need to get your hair did, Ray would be more than glad to line you up.
