Not only is Sean professional and entirely knowledgeable about tattoos and their history, he is also *excited* about his work and it really shows. He 100% works with you while you're in the chair, having an emphasis on making your piece your own and exactly how *you* want it to look while also providing professional and artistic insight to help you make some decisions when youre uncertain. Also, if you ask nicely he'll even put on Netflix for you while you're getting your piece done. Sean is not heavy handed; I have no scarring nor raised areas from my line work. This was the most comfortable tattooing experience (he is the 4th artist I've worked with) I've had to date. He is imaginative and very good with "repairing" or covering bad tats as well. Sean, who was the Tattoo artist (he is also the owner of the shop) created my tattoo. He did a great job on the tattoo, a Berlin Bear that represents the coat of arms of Berlin Germany (my hometown). Sean listened to what I had in mind on where the tattoo should be, size, and color. A tattoo is not completely painless (needle going under the skin, hello?) however he used some numbing cream that helped me to relax and let him create the tattoo. Now a week later, the Berlin Baer looks fantastic on my arm. I had minimum swelling, I did what Sean told me to do. Put ointment on the Tattoo, keep it out of the sun. I got a tribute piece for my father from him at the KC Tattoo Convention and he was able to create the perfect design on the spot in a chaotic scene; then we happened to be in the Springs for vacation and stopped by just to say hello, and ended up getting new ink for my husband because once again Ryan came up with the perfect design for him after just a brief conversation.
