Could NOT be happier with our experience at Fallen Heroes Tattoo! The first thing you notice when you walk in is how badass the building is...it just feels like a place I'd wanna hang out in. I got my first tattoo over 15 years ago, and since then have a number of tattoos I wanted to get but wouldn't until I found the right place. I've been lucky twice at Fallen Heroes- I have a tattoo from Darin and one from David. My experience from start to finish was amazing. Brenda at the front desk runs the show, and she does an amazing job of it. This is probably the cleanest tattoo shop I've ever been to, and you can tell everyone there has fun. Found this shop by luck honestly! If you;re looking for a clean shop whos down to earth this is your shop !I did not vibe well with many other shops in the area because I was looking for someplace super special that would work with my style and just wanted to feel that vibe. Most shops around Colorado Springs book out MONTHS ahead, but this shop was SO quick to get me in with an artist I really loved! Erik did a fantastic job doing a small cover up for me and KILLED the line work for touching up my chest piece. Best tattoo experience to date. And I have many. Clean establishment and restroom. I felt that I could openly talk to everyone including my artist. Aj worked with me for days leading up to my appt. Fluffy blankets when your cold no problem. Cute pillows to make you comfy: given with a smile. Everywhere you look is something different to visually enjoy and keep your eyes busy. I was there all day and lunch was provided and delivered from a place of my choosing (awesome). Next day questions brought me by on a quick trip. I was there all day and they covered lunch of my choosing. Pillows to make me comfortable were provided with a smile. When I had to shed clothing for the last part a warm fluffy blanket was provided. Aj worked with me and my design for days leading up to the appt and after care has been great. I stopped back by today with a question about care and they gladly changed the dressing on my foot and wrapped the entire leg saving me tons on lotion in this dry weather. Upon first visit I was warmly welcomed and everyone appeared friendly. I scheduled an appt and was informed I would be receiving some sketches before my date. I was able to work with AJ for several days leading up to my all day session. When arriving for my appt the staff was still friendly, clean establishment including the restrooms. I felt as though I could openly express my ideas no matter how not well described. I was attentively listened to and felt it. Lunch was included in my session ( whatever I was in the mood for). After all day from open to close: the bathrooms stay clean, the people don't change, and I felt welcomed and appreciated. Not to mention the soft fluffy blankets, pillows, and refreshments. I have 11 tattoos from 11 different duty stations and this one, by a great extent, stands above the rest. I am big into drawing so I noticed the habits, in artist Darin Stats, that reminded me of myself when I am truly dedicated to the picture that I am trying to make perfect. I felt like I was in a doctors office having surgery. The receptionist was very nice and had a smoking hot uh personality. The vibe you get is one from an establishment made up of professionals. If they weren't tattooing they were having art competitions and being extremely decent and friendly. I highly recommend this place. I came into Fallen Heroes yesterday with a piece that I was dissatisfied with. It wasn't living up to my expectations and I just needed more from it. Darin understood exactly what I wanted, worked his magic, and now I'm ecstatic! I can't wait until it's healed so I can show it off! I will definitely be coming back to get more art from him.
