Very deceiving. Rude. I called beforehand to get a quote on pricing so I could decide which shop to go to. I explicitly asked how much it would be for THREE small tattoos, I was quoted $100-140 for 3 small tattoos and confirmed that was for all three not individually. After getting tattooed they told us that it would be $100 each. I am all for paying for good work, I do not appreciate feeling scammed and then when asked why we weren't told up front before getting tattooed that "you should have asked" and "if we had our prices posted, you would have walked out. We would lose a lot of clients that way." Very disappointed. Will never go back. Would rather go to honest shops who don't try to hide their minimums and call me a liar. The artist Mindy was super patient with me and drew up what I wanted multiple times with all the changes I asked for every time until I was happy with it. Oh my goodness. Blown away. I booked my appointment a little less than a week before my appointment. The first guy I talked to on the phone super nice. I was originally scheduled for Thursday evening, but I couldn't make it so I called and asked if I could reschedule. At first the women said they were all booked up for the week and that they couldn't reschedule for earlier. I tried figuring it out to see if I could make it, I couldn't. So I called again and spoke to the same women, I was super upset that I want going to be able to get tattooed :/. However, she was able to squeeze me in on Wednesday. I went with my cousin and we came in a bit early just to get things rolling. The guy who greeted us super nice! Then the tattoo artist Adrian came up to us while we were still talking to the other guy and already knew who we were and what we were there to get. Asked my cousin about his preference of his tattoo, as well as myself. He went back to draw it up. Now on to the tattoo's. Adrian is a super chill dude. Had good conversation. Sanitation was 10/10. He did a fantastic job. Him being the only one at the shop right now tattooing, just pumping out tattoos, he seems like the man to do it. This place is fantastic! Super clean, knowledgeable and really friendly! We wanted to get a nose piercing and tattoo on vacation so we did a walk in. Great tattoo parlor. Went in to CO for my 21st B-Day and Scott did one hell of a job. Walked in with somewhat of an idea of what I wanted but nothing to depict it; talked to Scott for about 10 mins and very shortly after he had it drawn up and it was PERFECT. Still love it. Tried calling to make an appointment. A new girl was answering the phones. She gave me a time to come in. I asked her if she needed my name to put down for the appointment. She said it would not be needed because she wasn't sure when the previous customer would be done. I came in a few minutes before and was told that the artist I wanted was booked already. "I'm sorry but we do 'first come, first served" I CALLED to make an appointment when you weren't booked and tried to get my name down.  Yeah, I'm not putting up with inexperienced employees. When I went in I had an idea of what I wanted, but wasn't totally sure about how to fill it out. I made an appointment with Adrian and explained to him what was looking for. When I went in for my appointment he showed me his drawing and I was speechless. All I could say about it was "Hell yea" about two or three times. His design was so much better than anything I could have thought of. I checked him out on instagram after I made the appointment, but what he showed me was so... much better than anything I could have expected. As for the shop itself, everyone there was super cool and helped provide a relaxing environment in which to get tattooed. My experiences with tats have been painful. Nonetheless, my Mom passed and I wanted a butterfly tat in her memory. Irenia is a wonderful tat artist. She helped me pull my design together andmade me feel comfortable (minimal pain)! Her work is unique and quite beautiful!!! It was as though she could read my mind and I am so happy!!! Tried contacting this tattoo shop for 2 weeks. Finally got through via email. Was given an appointment for a consultation and drove up from Minturn. Waited an hour for the artist to show up!  We sat there waiting while the two other artists sat in a back office and didn't follow up with us. While we were waiting we also noticed a few people coming in and didn't get service.  This is  a very unprofessional business. I was nervous about getting my tattoo because 1) I have a tattoo done at home in minnesota that ended up looking awful 2) I didn't have the exact design picked out and 3) I wanted it on my foot which I know is a tough spot to get tattoos. My mom and I went in to the shop today and, after they took her $80 deposit, they informed us that the artist would not tattoo me because I was SIX DAYS from being 18 and that has caused problems with parents in the past when they had done it. We called back after leaving and offered to have both parents come in and consent to the tattooing to circumvent that problem and they still wouldn't do it. They said it wasn't a shop policy, but "artist preference." The person on the p...hone seemed annoyed that we were even asking and seemed to have a pretty rude tone. This stipulation for minors is not posted on their website, Facebook page, or anything. They didn't even ask my age BEFORE they took the deposit and didn't offer to refund the deposit for us or anything similar. Update: Lovely customer service! In case they delete the comment, this is how this business responds to criticism: "Quit your crying and grow up. It's our policy and it is the law. It's not our duty to bow down to you and break the law. I called 20 minutes before they closed to see if they could sell me a 16 gauge ring for a labret.  It's a new piercing and I somehow lost my bead and didn't want to sleep with a ring without a bead in it.  The guy told me yeah we have three or four options for you but I've already shut down the computer so I can't sell you anything even though we aren't closed yet.    I gave them a 2 star instead of a 1 star rating because I guess they don't owe me being open during their posted hours but they couldn't even take cash so I could avoid risking loosing it at night?  All you can do is make me more frustrated by telling me I can come in tomorrow?  If you need piercing stuff consider Smok'N'Bra in Frisco or Dynamite in Breck instead. I just received a shoulder tattoo from Rob Martin on a drop-in. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, showed him some examples, and he set about do some art.  When I saw the print, I knew I had just luckily found the right guy.  I was unsure about whether or not to color it, but with his advice I decided not to.  My tattoo was an Om inside of a lotus blossom.I can't say how pleased I am with the result.... as a bonus, Rob has a very "light touch" in my opinion, and I found his skill to be on the very low end of the pain scale.There's no question I would recommend him to anyone. Do NOT trust Eddie the piecer at GodSpeed Tattoo.  Anyone in this profession should be educated about the body and anatomy if they are to be doing procedures like piercing.  He performed two piercings for me and my friend and they were in the WRONG spot!!  I googled the piercing and read to him exactly where it should be placed in the ear and he obviously paid no attention to what I said.  He did not say he didn't understand what I was talking about and didn't care to research it further.  When he said nothing back to me I assumed he knew how to do his job and where in the ear I was talking about.  BOTH my friend and I said we didn't know where that part of the ear was and were both under the assumption that he knew.  PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!!  Go to someone who CARES about your body. Went here with a few friends for an underboob tattoo, our tattoo artist didn't shut the blinds and everyone walking by could see our boobs exposed! Someone even knocked on the window and gave us a thumbs up!! So embarrassing. When we tried to shut them ourselves he became angry and was super rude! The whole experience was really uncomfortable. Chago gave me a very bad tattoo. The lining is complete crap. The whole tattoo isn't even near symmetrical like a face typically is. It seems from what I read, most people have bad experiences here. And the ones that do have good experiences I envy. I wish my first tattoo could have been beautiful and breath-taking like the other work Chago displays... Instead, I got a very shaky looking tattoo. With over 5 flaws in it. The first flaw is the left eye. It is completely uneasy and darkened outlining compared to the right eyes outline. Another bad thing about this this tattoo is that there is no bottom teeth at all. A four year old could have drawn better teeth than he did. Also, the inner corner to the left eye is immensely thicker than the inner corner to the right eye. It gets worse, the smile on the left side is expanded out more than it is on the right side. Causing it to look placed incorrectly and unsimilar. Faces are supposed to look the same on both side and it makes me sad that mine looks opposite on both sides. This tattoo shop had so many amazing quality tattoos on their website, so I trusted that they would give me the best quality as they did others. Instead the staff treated me as if I was a nuisance to their plans that night and got me in and out of there as quick as they could it seemed. (34 minutes for the tattooing session) and a pricey sacrifice in return for a low quality, shaky tattoo. $80.00 in fact! I do not understand how this tattoo could possibly be worth that amount of money. They don't even charge by the hour and no one explained to me how they came up with that amount of money for a small wrist tattoo. It looks like a tattoo that honestly could have been done by a friend who isn't professional, but has a tattoo gun and thinks he is the shit so he tattoos people at his house for cheap. Everytime I look at this tattoo it makes me wonder "Why me?" Seems like every picture I saw on the site were amazing tattoos with little to no flaws, yet I got something that looks like I drew it on my own wrist with gel pens. Depresses me that this tattoo is permanently on my skin for my life. The worst part was when I emailed the shop explaining how upset I was about the tattoo, they told me that it looked fine, and then proceeded to bring my age into it; saying it is typically for a younger female like me to complain. The tattoo shop is very pretty looking and a good atmosphere, though. I had a safe healing with no irritation, scabbing, or itching which shows this shop is at least clean. I wouldn't waste your time on this shop regardless. It consists of incredibly stubborn and rude staff members that don't want to admit to anybody they give bad tattoos once in a while. I have seen my friends tattoos in real life from this shop and they also are very shaky and sad looking. You can go to areas in Denver or around there with the same pricing $$$ and you actually pay for what you get. I feel like I got ripped off and treated like my opinion of the permanent ink on my skin didn't matter. Feel free to watch my YouTube video on the Godspeed Tattoo shop Review - Breckenridge, CO.
