Went in and had Darren do a tattoo for me yesterday that was a 20 year anniversary present from my wife. He drew a beautiful half sleeve that captured my life in the Coast Guard and the importance of family to me. Although I didn't do the whole half sleeve I appreciate the time he put into the art. Had an APPOINTMENT to get 2 people tattoos. We drive 30 miles to get to our APPOINTMENT early only to find out our artist is not there. They had our phone numbers but did not give us the courtesy of a phone call. Chick at the desk acted like it was no big deal that we drove all that way for an APPOINTMENT we had and they did not honor our APPOINTMENT made days prior. The attitude of "oh well" is not how you run a business. I would have made any and all attempts to make the customer happy if it was my business. Stevie, my artist, did an amazing job and came up with a great design from 2 drawings I brought in for inspiration. I spent 7 weeks, one session per week, at Rising Tide and every single time I walked in I was greeted with a smile by Jill. She remembered my name. She was a scheduling/re scheduling magician. An amazing person to be around. Danny did all of my work, and he was professional, kind & friendly. He also is an amazing artist that blew my mind with my one of a kind design. He basically read my mind and gave me exactly what I wanted. When (not if) I'm ready to get tattooed again, I guarantee it will be at Rising Tide and nowhere else.
