I would NOT recommend this business. I'm a forward/ fair  person so I'll review it accordingly. On the basis of artwork , I rate Sean the artist to be skilled! On the basis of customer service, rationale , professionalism, Emotional intelligence ; I rate this business at a 1/2 star if it were even possible. I have screenshots to support my reasoning. If anyone knows how to attach screenshots to my review please educate me on how to do so! It all started when Sean began canceling appointments due to a plethora of things (stated girlfriend went crazy and pulled weapon on him, stated electricity went out in shop, stated got in car accident and that it was mother who was texting me , stated after confirming appointment that meds we're making him feel bad, stated that inspectors were at shop location... etc).  After informing Sean that he can have clients at the shop while getting inspected , per me looking into colorado gov law , he became irate and stated "who does that?" Pertaining to me saying I looked it up, as to how I found out. I informed him I consent to inspectors being there as I need to finish tat before my deployment. Going back to about the 3rd cancellation I inquired about either getting work finished elsewhere or what his thoughts were on availability. He stated no need to do so as he wouldn't "screw" me like that. Well today I've been screwed. Don't let this happen to you folks. He also stated I will not get deposit back but lucky for me I'm willing to go through any measures including legal to do so. SAVE YOURSELF THE RUN AROUND, THE UNFORTUNATE BAD LUCK THAT SEEMS TO PLAGUE THIS DUDE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. Read Less

Sean is not only professional, he is a true artist!  He is very patient with his clients and takes the time to listen to exactly what you want.  Keep in mind, he is an artist, so he will probably have a much better design idea than anything you would take to him, give him a chance to be creative and you won't be disappointed.  I started out with one design on my back, which he elaborated into a back piece I absolutely love.    You will not be disappointed! I came in a few months ago for my first by him, and after seeing what quality looks like, my prior 2 tattoos before I came here look like Dookie. I love this place. The new location is great and I love the office. They made it so inviting and it's so clean. It has a great atmosphere to it. As for my tattoo, I am in the process of getting a cancer ribbon and some flowers on my left shoulder and everyone is awesome here. Mike Dixon is an awesome guy and he is an awesome artist. He is so nice and caring. I ended up having a low blood sugar attack and only got the outline done but he was awesome through it making sure I was ok and refused to continue on the tattoo. I am glad he did refuse to continue because I didn't want to risk actually passing out. I am having a great experience so far and I cant wait for it to be done and see what it looks like. I love it so far. Finally it's finished and it is beautiful. I love it so much. Mike did a great job. Again everyone is great here. Theoretical Ink is an all around amazing place. The art work that Sean, Joy, and Trevor create is down right pure great art! I had a consult with Sean and told him what I liked, didn't like, and a bit about myself. I'm so proud of what he created and the great detail he has put into this new art work I have on my arm (that is a cover up by the way), that I have to show it to everybody. All the people that I show it to are amazed. Once it is finished it will be posted on the web page (two more sessions). Their is a little bit of a wait sometimes but well worth it for great art that is going to last a lifetime on your body. If your shopping for a place to get some new or first time Ink this is a shop you must visit.
