If I could give this place (especially Ian) like 10 million stars I would! Absolutely amazing shop. Everyone is super welcoming, very friendly, and make you feel like you're being taken care of. Ian did my tattoo and he is incredible. Such a nice, caring guy and his talent is something that I can not put into words. I got my very first tattoo last week! I have wanted one for a long time but too scared to do it. Jason was great and made sure I not only got just what I asked for but also talked to me making me laugh the whole time. I love Inksylum! I have been going to Jason (AKA Kermit) for the past 5 years, and every piece he has custom drawn for me gets amazing compliments everywhere I go. If you can't stand the atmosphere in a tattoo shop, don't go in, because these boys keep it real and bawdy, it's a great stress reliever! They're down to bare bones on staff right now, can definitely use an artist or two, but your time is definitely not wasted stopping in! I used to go to these guys everytime for my tattoo, I was going in again for my sleeve. It had been quite a while since I have gone so things have change, I was looking through portfolios for a specific artist I wanted while the employees (I haven’t not seen at all in the past) were less friendly then the ones in my past come ins. Didn’t bug me, but after as I was about to set an appointment with them, I see a sign and I quote “Notice; Sexual Harassment will not be reported in this area will not be reported, however it will be graded.” Now it really takes a lot for me to leave. Got my last two tattoos done by Maria (she now works at Havana st tattoo) but I'm still posting this here as well as their yelp page, since this is where I originally got the work done. I have 10 tats and have never had a single issue until she did them. My last two tats were in memory of my daughter. One was a ribbon and the other was a copy of one of her hello kitty drawings. I got them done a year apart. When I got the second one (hello kitty) she touched up the ribbon she did the previous year, without an additional charge. It's now been 7 months since she did the last one. I just reached out to her to set up an appointment and she tells me that "free touch ups are only good for 6m" well.... then why did she touch up the other one a year later without an issue? Now there's a "set up fee" which is the shop minimum. This is horrible customer service on top of bad service. Don't waste your time, money or skin! Read Less

My first impression was great and it was not a false one. The shop is clean, and the staff are friendly and professional. I went in to have two of my old tattoos fixed. They were terrible, and have always been an embarrassment. I didn't think much could be done but some shading and touching up. I am amazed at how great they look now. Cheyenne brought these tattoos to life with genuine skill that far exceeded my expectations. I was satisfied with pricing as well. I will definitely be back. Thank you! =) Read Less

I love InkSylum! There is never a dull moment in that shop. You can go in with a photo of a tattoo of what you want, or you can go in and tell them the idea you want and they can draw it up either way it comes out one of a kind and always has that extra special flare . Kermit is a genuine person and a great friend! He will put u upside down on a chair if he has to to get the perfect tattoo... lol and he always has words of wisdom for you. If you really want to laugh ask them to play 80-90 music in the shop and have them all guess the singers!! Good Times !! Read Less
