well, let me say at first I was excited as there prices were very reasonable.  I had a small tattoo that I wanted covered up and it was a super easy cover up.  I was told that I would have to have it "hit" a second time as my small flower (size of a quarter) was still a little visible and told to come back as soon as it healed and we would hit it with another round of color.  So of course when that happened the guy who did the first tattoo was no longer there and nobody wanted to do a "free" touch up and was told that I would have to wait for the owner Vanessa to get back in town, of course it literally took about 8 phone calls for her to finally get me in.  Once I got there she was super nice and the tattoo looked much better.  It healed but almost 6months after healing the tattoo became itchy, and raised and now is almost embarrassing to look at.  Of course she is no longer around to even talk to and I stopped in once and the artist there said he has never seen anything like it.  This was my sixth tattoo so its not like I did not know how to care for it.  I have also had 4 tattoos since AT A DIFFERENT shop and have not had one problem.  My current artist said he believed that she scared me intentionally as well as the plastic surgeon who is going to remove it.  This unfortunately taught me a lesson in you deffintely get what you pay for. I will NEVER go back there for piercings. I've gotten 3 piercings there, and all 3 of them were f-cked up! My left eyebrow got so swollen (despite me properly cleaning it) that I had to drain it using an exacto knife. The same thing eventually happened to my right eyebrow. My own mother pierced my lip and i never had a problem with it. But a PROFESSIONAL piercer can't even do his damn job? No thanks. DON'T GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS. Read Less

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A TRAGUS PIERCING. They use the incorrect jewellry and give you an incorrect healing time. I was pierced with a nose screw (which looked to be low quality when I finally was able to take it out) when the typical jewellry is a CBR or a labret stud. The healing time is also 6+ months, not one month like I was told. I was told everything AFTER the fact. I cleaned my piercing properly and when I was supposed to, hardly bumped it or snagged it on anything and still ended up with an infection. Read Less

I went to Back Alley Tattoo because someone recommended me to get a tattoo done by Clay. I am very disappointed with my tattoo it was done very poorly and the color didn't stay at all! Just because they work in a shop doesn't mean your gonna get quality work because this is one of my worst tattoos I've ever gotten! I would never recommend this place to anyone! Read Less

It already has faded and looks 10 years old I won't ever go back teaches me a lesson not to go to a shop in a mall especially when the artist reeks of weed! I don`t want to be mean or rude but let me say I will not be going back. First off the store did not open when they should have. When the owner finally showed up he did not even acknowledge me. After he opened up I asked about the $25 piercing special and asked if it applies to nose piercings, he said yes. I was thrilled, and they had me pay before even showing me the jewelry. I gave a $5 tip to the guy too. Well he showed me the jewelry, it was a small l-stud which should not be used as the first piercing for the nose. But at the time I didn`t know this. I asked if he had anything in silver and he snapped that this was what he had. I said ok, I had already paid after all. His bedside manner was lousy and he did not make me feel at ease at all. I have had a few piercings, and none have bled so I was surprised when my nose started gushing. This is not something directed at the piercer, it was just a shock to me. I know now some piercings will always bleed. I said as much to him though and he snapped that I have never had a nose piercing. I had said it as an observation, not something against him. Well, I left and even though the customer service sucked I was happy with my piercing. Until the next night, when I scratched my nose and the stud fell out and would not go back in. I did not call the piercer back because the customer service was horrible enough that I did not want him to re-pierce me. It is my own fault for going somewhere that did the piercing for $25, you get what you pay for. Read Less

Back alley tattoo, is by far the best tattoo shop in town! I did a great deal of looking around at diffrent tattoo shops and artists.... I did not find one that was cleaner and extremely professional then back alley tattoo! Vanessa is the one who did my tattoo on my foot. A red peacock feather... She was incredible!
