Jaye Jones and staff are amazing! The shop is clean and organized, the vibe is relaxed and comfortable and the level of communication is extraordinary. Jaye truly wants you to leave happy! I came in with a large back piece I wanted covered up with a similar design but in color -I was basically asking her to finish another artists's unfinished piece from 20 years ago. She delivered! All of the artist are very knowledgeable in their particular specialty. I have been tattooed by Jaye and Tamara. All of my experiences have been nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere is phenomenal. I have always felt welcome and like part of their tattoo family at Strata. I could go on for days, but I will cut it short. MY EXPERIENCE..  I went around in yucca valley, palm springs, and cathedral city. I wont mention any shop names. I stopped at probably 5 different shops. at 1 I didn't even get acknowledged that I was there, others were just plain to dam hot to walk in, I couldn't imagine laying there for a couple of hours getting work done, also environment was like somebody died, no music, hot n sweaty, dungeness...  I walked into STRATA TATTOO LAB. nice temperature, ceiling fans going, nice loud music  LIVELY.  in a minute I was greeted by RYAN.  I showed him a drawing of what I wanted to get, he gave me his suggestions of what he would do differently. and gave me a price.. right in the ball park of what I wanted to spend.  at first I was kinda nervous, just thinking that man this artist is a big dude, I hope he dosnt have a heavy hand...day of tattoo, I come in. meet with RYAN RILEY, he shows me the placement of art, and it was perfect. we start the ink session. music playing, lively shop, ryan just gets into his zone n gos to town.  at first I thought that I was only gonna get outline n come back later, but this artist is so good at what he does,  he did outline, gave me a short break, came back in and went to town with shading.  3 and 1/2 hours later we were complete. AWESOME WORK, a huge tat, just above ankle n just below knee.  I couldn't believe that its done.  ive been wanting to get this done for years,,i never wear shorts because of some scars that I have on legs, but know with RYAN RILEY laying down this sick ass art, I couldn't be more proud of it and I cant wait to get the other leg done.. looking forward to wearing shorts with out people starring at scars..im very happy and I would definitely recommend this shop to any one.RYAN RILEY IS AWESOME...   THANK YOU and JAYE     GREAT EXPERIANCE Read Less

I've acquired several small pieces of tattoo art over the past 23 years in several different states throughout the United States. Jay'e was the first woman artist to tattoo me. In what appears to be a male dominated profession, Jay'e is on top of her game. I researched her work and studied her reviews prior to scheduling my appointment, and one of the things I read was that she was fast. I can now attest to the validity of that comment.
