I concur with Ed Comstock, except that I found him first! 😉 We went to Tommy’s Tattoo convention in CT looking for an artist to do my first tattoo. After walking around for abour an hour, I came upon his booth and listened to his brother talk to a few people. The guy in front of me was talking about getting a shark fin coming out of the water and his brother responded with such a beautifully detailed, description that I was mezmorized. When it was my turn to talk, he asked m...e if I had a sketch and I produced a very, simplistic, sad looking picture. He said Pablo was the actual artist and introduced me to him. He looked at my sad pic and began speaking about colors, placement, flow, lighting, etc. Things a person doesn’t really think of when getting something so permenant and special. He put my nerves right at ease and I needed no more convincing and indeed ... way nice to look at Cari Harris!!! The rest is history and a beautiful friendship began. Pablo did some great ink for me when working at another shop, years ago. When I wanted a second piece done, I looked all over for him and eventually found him. I could have gone to a few other good artists a bit closer to me, but I had to get back to him.
