Let me start out by saying that Samantha is amazing! I would definitely recommend getting any piercing done by her. She is very knowledgeable in what she does. I got a nose piercing done by another piercer at a different shop, but the piercing was painful and the ball began to slip into my nose. I went in to see Samantha to check if anything could be done to save my piercing l. She was so kind in explaining to me the size of piercing I had (which was way too small) and the sizes I should have gotten. Even though it wasn't her that did my piercing, she kept apologizing on behalf of the original piercer, which I really appreciated. She took the piercing out of my nose and recommended I let it heal up before coming back for a new one. When I am ready I will definitely be visiting Samantha again. If I could give a higher rating I would. I got two cartilage piercings and it barley hurt. I was super nervous and tense. Samantha the owner helped me and answered all my questions. She was quick and did it well with barley any pain I would give it a 2/10. I love my piercing. She gave me tips on proper care and made sure I got everything I needed to know and the proper supplies to clean my piercing. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. I will definitely come back. This place is great! Went in to have my jewelry changed out (piercing regretfully done elsewhere) and Samantha was so awesome! She is an expert, takes her time and is thorough, and made the process so smooth! Samantha delivered GREAT customer service! Very nice and sweet! One of the tattoo guys on the other hand, I wish I got his name, was very rude and disrespectful! Never met a grown man to sit an argue with a female lol so ridiculous. Met with Samantha today for a nostril piercing. She is awesome. Took her time explaining what to expect and made sure I was good with the positioning before she started. The piercing itself was as painless as a needle through your nose can possibly be. Samantha is a super cool chick who's easy to talk to. I was referred to crimson moon by a friend, I wanted a small tattoo (dodger hat) but deep down I was looking for an artist and by chance met Mario. He went above and beyond to make my cheapie into a masterpiece. I knew that I had an artist I could trust to finish my half sleeve and fix other work to use as his vision. I also met Robert who is a very friendly owner and a cool personable guy who I may get work done with in the future as far as comic book type stuff, but at the moment Mario is my dude. Awesome place!! I came as a walk in and was tattood by Mario, ( @brokenarrow_ink on instagram ) he was super personable and kind. Kept the conversation flowing and was gracious if I needed to take a break, didn't make me feel pressured or rushed. His work was, Amazing!!! I've been looking around for "my tattoo guy" and I found him here. I get compliments on my tattoo almost every day and have been asked to give out his Instagram a couple times, which of course I did eagerly. I want to recommend him to everyone!!! A lot of the reviews for this shop are really great and honestly I had a completely different experience. I came in and was introduced to Shawn the guy who would be doing my tattoo. I asked him if I can see his art and after looking I was pretty satisfied with what he did and I told him I wanted a sun. I then said that I do get a little scared and he got an attitude and told me he doesn't babysit people when I was just trying to make small talk with the man who's going to drilling a needle in my arm. But none the less I showed him a picture of a sun that I wanted and he said he "doesn't do other people's art" so I said sure make it your own so he stenciled the circle of the sun on my wrist and I told him I wanted it smaller he rolled his eyes went back to his stencil maker and made a smaller circle and for the fear of not wanting to catch an attitude with him I said the circle size was fine (even though I wanted smaller.) may I add that the circle that he stenciled on me was a perfect circle When he started tattooing me I looked away because I was terrified of seeing it done. After he finished I looked at my wrist and I was heartbroken at how terrible and ugly the tattoo showed up it was nothing like what I asked for the circle was an oval on my wrist and the sun beams look like little sperms trying to penetrate an egg. But I just left unhappy. The next day I came back and spoke with Samantha and explained to her that I was unhappy and Samantha was absolutely great and completely professional about it. She gave my money back and even offered to have it fixed because she saw how terrible it was. I agreed and set up an appointment to come back the next Saturday at 2pm and when I got there the new gentlemen who was supposed to be fixing my tattoo was "stuck in traffic" so I waited for almost an hour and then I just bailed. I just wouldn't recommend coming here because it just wasn't a professional experience and a complete waste of time. They're almost never open when there posted business hours say I'm pretty sure there's someone sleeping in the shop over night. It's just not okay there. Read Less

Have to start off by saying that Samantha is a DOLL.I got my septum pierced by her yesterday and I am highly pleased with the whole experience.This place is literally a hidden gem. So my birthday was on Tuesday (08/15) and I was given a tattoo as a gift. Being from NY originally, I have not yet found a shop that I felt comfortable at out here. I wasn't sure where I was going to go, but after a ton of research on Yelp, I narrowed it down to Crimson Moon and one other shop. I went to the other shop first but did not get a very good feeling from it. So after I left, I went over to Crimson Moon. What a difference! First of all, the shop has a very calm, cool vibe to it. Everyone is really nice there. And super friendly. I spoke to Robert (his wife and he own the shop) who set me up with an appointment for Friday, 08/18.   I gave Robert the design that I wanted but told him that aside from a few details, the design was completely open to what he thought would look great. Now my appointment was for 2 on Friday. The only (VERY MINOR) complaint that I have is that we didn't start the tattoo until about 4:15. I certainly don't mind hanging around and waiting, but I had a dinner Friday night that I was almost late to. But that's OK. Like I said, it is a minor issue and honestly, this was my 23rd tattoo. I have never, ever had a tattoo start on time. My last one before this was almost four hours late, so honestly, 2 hours isn't that bad. Robert has a very gentle hand when tattooing. Part of my tattoo went into the crook of my elbow and that is so sensitive, but I barely felt it at all. You can tell that Robert takes the tattoo process really seriously and this is evidenced by the tremendous job that he did and how freakin' great this dang tattoo looks. It's amazing. And I could not be more grateful. Finally, I have found an amazing shop in California after being here for ten years. In fact, I am going to make an appointment in a few weeks for David to get his tattoo and for me to get a piece (done years ago by someone else) touched up. Just a FYI, the shop is cash only, but they do have an ATM on site. And the prices here are beyond reasonable, very fair prices. And the shop minimum is $60 which is quite low. I first went to this shop on Friday the 13th, was not going in with high expectations since it was super busy because of their special $20 tattoos. I waited patiently for about 3 1/2-4 hours. I only stayed because of how nice everyone in this shop was. When it was my turn to get a tattoo I was super excited. On the flash sheet I chose a fish and I thought it was going to be a plain outline nothing too cool or fancy, it was $20... did not expect a master piece. My artist was Yesi and she was so cool! She talked to me and made me feel comfortable. I never thought I would be so relaxed while getting a tattoo but I was. I was in utter shock to see the tattoo.. it had shading and looked so awesome she took the time to put detail and make it stand out. I was very pleased with it. Decided to check them after after reading the reviews.  I called to get some info and spoke with Samantha who does the piercing at the shop.  After speaking with her I felt comfortable going there for my piercing.  Glad I picked Crimson Moon .. I haven't had a new piercing in quite a while and ended having a bit of an anxiety feeling  and dizzy.  Samantha did a great job with my labret piercing and was amazingly helpful wth I started feeling a bit lightheaded etc.  I would definitely recommend coming here. So my homie Jarod works here he's an artist I've wanted and said I would get tattooed by him but never pulled threw until recently and I am glad I did . I got my son and daughters name daughters on my inner arm and sons in my outter . All I can say is I regret not coming in sooner to get a piece done by jarod I hardly felt the needle and the environment of the shop makes it a lot better . I came here for the Halloween tattoo flash special and it was honestly the best tattoo experience I've ever had. The atmosphere was comfortable and open and definitely made me feel welcome.
