This was my sixth tattoo and it may possibly the best of the bunch. Since I am new to LA, I did my research and found The Warren. The studio itself is the nicest I've been to. Instinctually was drawn to this shop and let fate decide which artist I'd get. It wasn't a mistake. The shop itself is clean, welcoming and comfortable and BJ the receptionist was friendly and professional when I called to inquire about walk-ins. I was instantly at ease w Clarens who was patient, thoughtful and sensitive to exactly what I wanted, down to the size and placement. He was realistic about what I wanted and really wanted to ensure I was happy. I love that they have private rooms for each artist, it made everything less stressful and more calming, especially since I couldn't wear a shirt during the process. I've had 3 tattoos done by Zoey Taylor (owner) recently and all are nothing short of amazing!  This shop is awesome.  It is spotless, high tech (Zoey's a photo editing wizard) and run like a well oiled machine.  I was moving back to MI and Zoey went out of her way to get me in to finish all my tattoos.  Her portraits are just incredible.  I knew I had to go to the right artist for my Layne Staley portrait and she was definitely it.  It surpassed my expectations.  So much incredible detail.  I can't recommend this shop and Zoey enough! Hands down the best tattoo shop I have been to. I made an appointment here noticed it was close to where I live and due to circumstances they were able to get me in much sooner. I was so happy with my tattoo, Clarens did an amazing job! I get so many compliments on the tattoo. Beautiful studio, more women need to be in the tattoo industry!! Anna was my sister and I's artist, it was a great experience from the get go. We saw our finished piece Anna created for us the day of the appointment. She tweeked it a few times at my request, but I kept going back to her original design. 2hrs later of watching Netflix, art was on my forearm. She is so light handed, I didn't feel it.. and I am a baby for pain! I get constant compliments on the piece & absolutely love it myself. I rarely post reviews, but I absolutely need to recognize the Warren Tattoo and my artist Danny. I scheduled a consultation about two weeks ago and was paired with Danny. This was my third tattoo but my first one at The Warren. At the consultation, I showed him a few pictures of designs I liked, the location, and reason behind getting it. I'm a terrible artist, I didn't have a particular sketch in mind. Danny gave me an idea of what he was thinking and gave me estimates on timing, cost, general design, logistics, etc. I put the wrong appointment day on my calendar, called apologizing but was able to reschedule without any attitude or consequences (highly highly discourage doing this, and am exceedingly grateful a walk-in was waiting and took my original time slot but more a testament to how great they are). On appointment day, Danny showed me the sketch, discussed minor changes, made some edits and we went ahead with it. He's really attentive, cares deeply about his work, and has an artistry and ability to turn my jumbled thoughts into something I'm so incredibly happy with. The level of detail and intricacy even in a minimalist design was incredible! A really well run shop with a great set of people - the perfect vibe for whatever design you're considering. I love my tattoo.I went to Warren tattoo because I liked the fine line work shown in their galleries.  I had an idea in my head of fox tracks crawling up my leg and brought a few pictures to my appt with the artist Anna.She was very nice to speak with and seemed to understand what I was looking for.  Before my appointment I was sent designs that Anna had drawn and they were perfect, a great design of what we had discussed.The tattoo itself turned out great, I've had it for 3 weeks and it has settled wonderfully.  I love it.I do have 2 small complaints, which are more than erased by the quality of the work.  First, the agreement at our initial appt was that the artist would send me their designs and give me the opportunity to make revisions, but I did not receive the design until the night before the appt.  Fortunately it was great and so I had no revisions.Second, the artist was an hour late to the appt and then had to hurry a bit at the end to get to another client, skimping on the after-care.  So I'd highly recommend Warren tattoo, great work and I'm extremely pleased. When I first got my tattoo that Zoey did for me, I was in love. Zoey had spent months going back and forth with me, never rushing the process, making sure the design was exactly what I wanted and we were both excited about. We met several times to talk about what I was trying to say with the tattoo, design influences, and worked as a team to design it.I was nervous going in because I was trying to blend several different styles: with several jellyfish in a trash polka style with geometric design-work layered on top. Despite all the different things I was trying to do with it, Zoey proved that she's an incredibly versatile artist.It was designed in photoshop, and pretty intricate, so I had accepted at the beginning that even if it looked cool, it could never be as detailed as what's possible on photoshop. And yet, after she finished, it had MORE detail in the actual tattoo. I still don't know how that's possible, but I was blown away. The line work was perfect, the detail so well done, and the piece looks so much better than I ever thought it possibly could.That was a year and a half ago, and it looks just as good now. Also, no exaggeration, I've gotten stopped almost every single day since then by strangers complimenting me on the tattoo, that they've never seen anything like it, and how impressed they are with the execution, which I think it really speaks to what Zoey is capable of, that living in a city where everyone has tattoos, I'm constantly stopped by strangers because of how impressed they are with this one.Five stars doesn't do Zoey justice, and she's worth every penny. Ive been thinking and talking about it for years!! But I finally decided on what to get. I am so lucky to have found an amazing shop. Never would have guessed it would be in Hollywood, let alone on Sunset! But the Warren Tattoo parlor is clean,professional and extremely talented. Danny Dunbar is a very talented artist/inker. He used organic ink which is important for me ( which I found out it's standard for this shop). My first ink ever was a large piece on my shoulder so you can imagine my nervousness. Danny took the time to make the last minute edits and reminded me once we start their is no turning back. I am still shocked that their was no pain or discomfort! He finished the piece in about 5-6 hours I don't remember exactly how long it was but the time went by fast! Other artist were coming in to check out his work and everyone had such a positive vibe. They used disposable needlesEach room was comfy and had the technology to keep you entertained.I'm keeping this post short but I'll come back to because I'm still excited as I'm writing this review my thoughts are racing!Im sooooooooo pleased with the results!!To my Yelp community the positive reviews are true and you won't be disappointed coming to the shop. My boyfriend and I both got our first tattoos at The Warren Tattoo a week ago. Clarens did mine, and did a terrific job. He was very easy to work with, listened to what I wanted, and I loved his suggestions. I was impressed with him as an artist and was also loved his calm, unassuming demeanor. I got a tattoo here a little over a year ago now and it is still the most beautiful thing on my skin. Well where do I start. Im not one to mess with anyone's pockets, but I really think this post is necessary so that no one else has to live the nightmare that I went through. Zoey Taylor Is an absolute fraud and I really don't think the work that she has advertised is hers. I shouldve written this post a long time ago but everytime I think about what happen I get extremely upset, so I just left it alone but after nearly 8 laser sessions im finally seeing the light and can write this.I went into her shop a lil over a year ago and gave her some ideas after about a 4 month wait list. I had 2 consultations with her because she said that she couldn't figure out what I wanted with what I gave her, which I thought was pretty self explanatory. She said I wasn't explaining myself correctly because "I" wasn't creative.The day that I went in to finally get my tattoo she told me that she created something with the pieces that I had given her. She then shows me what she came up with and was literally copy and pasted pictures that I had given her (funny considering that she said I wasn't creative). She then tells me that she can create something cool by adding some of her ideas, which was THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY F*CKN LIFE. That was pretty damn stupid of me but after months of waiting I guess I just decided to trust my so called "artist". So she literally begins to color in huge black blotches all over my shoulder And charged me $900 dollars OHH and let me say that it wasn't even a quarter of the way finished THANK GOD. She texts my miserable ass a few days later to come back so she could finish it, and I literally wanted to break my phone from how angry I was.Anyway, Its been over a year and had a lot of it removed. The laser treatments were a lil over $2K and were extremely painful, and so is the healing process. the amount of ink that she put in had elevated my skin and the laser didn't help with the scarring. Like I said it has been a nightmare and she damaged the skin on my entire shoulder. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND DO NOT GO TO HER there are so many great artists out there. I had told myself that id never get another tattoo being that It was my first, but then I found "ink slingers" and absolutely love my tattoos from them and am going back for more. Expert Tattoo artist in a big city with a small town vibe. They're kind, welcoming and laid back. I engaged with the entire staff from my arrival to my departure. All very kind. Coming from overseas I wasn't sure what to expect, despite all my research, and I quickly found that The Warren is such a friendly, clean, and welcoming place. I felt at ease the minute I walked in. Danny was so nice from the second we first met him. He is such a great artist, and he seemed to know what I (and each of my friends) wanted and brought them to life so quickly. I made the unhappy mistake of getting a tattoo by Zoey Taylor... on my forearm, no less. I hated it from the minute it was done, had to go back to get it touched up by Zoey herself and have subsequently had to have it covered up by another artist (who was shocked by it). And this bad tattoo wasn't even cheap... cost me a cool $300 for a half hour of work. If I could give Zoey zero stars I would.I am still confused to this day to be honest because I have seen pictures of Zoey's work and some of it looks nice... hence why I wanted Zoey to be my tattoo artist. (Can't lie though, I've seen some bad examples of it too, so I guess the answer is she's unpredictable in quality: not a risk I'd take with something as permanent as a tattoo.)But no question about it, my tattoo was hideous. It was meant to be realistic wings and it was lopsided, ugly, with awful line work, zero shading and multiple people mistook it for black lungs... I kid you not. I also have terrible scarring on this tattoo... The line work stands off my skin - that is not how tattoos are meant to work.Genuine conversation I, a total amateur who had been tattooed once at the time, had with Zoey. Me: "I'd love some white in this black and grey tattoo."Zoey: "That won't be necessary."Well, yes, actually, white is incredibly necessary in black and grey tattoos if you don't want them to look like 2D pieces of trash. I got a tattoo done by Zoey in May of a pygmy owl. Zoey's professionalism and artistry and everyone else at The Warren made my first tattoo experience so comfortable and wonderful. I can't think of enough good things to say about their work. Every time I go out with my tattoo exposed, I get compliments from strangers about how good it looks. Literally, every time. On more than one occasion, strangers have actually stopped to look at it because it really is a work of art. If you are going to complain about paying $480 dollars over a body modification done to YOUR OWN skin, then I suggest you don't get a tattoo at all. Take a moment to reflect upon the permanence of what you are asking these professionals to do, and understand that wether you pay $400 or $4,000; in the end, your skin is priceless. The pieces of art that this tattoo shop dishes out daily is unprecedented and is clearly distinguished when compared to your buddies $500 dollar sleeve done by Bubba over at that other place. Honestly, I would trust any of these artists with any part of my skin. Hands down, a tattoo shop like this is rare. Each artist has their own specialty, and combined in this one shop, they cover just about any style of tattoo you could be looking for. From traditional Americana all the way to lifelike portrait photo realism that feels like it is about to blink right before your eyes. The amount of talent under the roof of The Warren is astonishing. My last piece of advice to you is, if you haven't already; take the time to come in and talk to the artists. They are beyond kind and some of the most approachable tattoo artists you could possibly come across.  Find the artist that best fits the style of tattoo you are looking to get, and stick with them, build a relationship. We were going to be in the Los Angeles area from Montana for the E3 expo, and almost as an afterthought I decided to check out tattoo artists. I figured, if I could find the best artist in L.A. I would find one of the best in the world. through my research everything in writing said go to Nikko Hurtado at the Black Anchor Collective. but every tattoo picture I saw said go to Zoey Taylor at The Warren, and I am so glad I did. I contacted them Two months out ( yeah I know, I should have planned this a year out). Her amazing assistant Nicole told me they were all booked up, but she may be able to move some things around to squeeze me in.  Nicole put her magic to work and she was able to get me June 16th. I get to the shop and find out they moved an appointment, plus put me in their very tight scedule between Zoey's family being in town (the day before) and flying out for a charity event (the day after). With all this going on Zoey still made me feel like all of that didn't matter and was only focused on getting the drawing right and doing the best tattoo she could/the best tattoo I have ever seen as well as probably the best Tattoo in Montana (yeah I know I'm biased :)  ). After everything I now have Zoey booked for the same exact day next year.     The Warren is the nicest tattoo shop I have ever been in,  and the best part is there is no flash anywhere in Their Shop. If you want it, they design it with you, not for you. If you are A tattoo collector or just getting Started with tattoos do yourself a favor and get an appointment with Zoey. You WILL end up with a world class piece, instead of potentialy ending up wth a piece you wish you wouldn't have gotten. I had been thinking about getting a tattoo for a long time. I was referred by my two friends, I looked at Zoeys portfolio online and saw my friends tattoos, it was even more beautiful in real life. My husband and I got tattoos from Zoey today and WOW they are awesome! We were really blown away.  We had to come in on a Saturday due to our work schedules, and she was booked six months out for weekends. This wasn't a problem for me, since there isn't a need to rush a tattoo and this means that she must be really good. We were not disappointed!Correspondence with her assistant was easy to set up the consultation and the appointment. She has an easygoing personality, and she had Netflix on while tattooing so we had something to help us relax. You will end up paying more, but in this case you seriously get what you pay for. I have a cheap tattoo where I just walked into a shop, and there is no comparison between the two, this was 100% worth every penny. She will definitely be my artist for my next tattoo.I saw someone posted about having to wait 30 minutes for a setup. Tattooing (or really any art form) is not something that can be scheduled down to the minute, so get over yourself. Plus, someone spending time to have a clean setup just for you is a very good thing, so don't complain about waiting. Artistic prowess:  I sent my concept doc with reference as week before my scheduled appointment.  Being a concerned worry wart I followed up with Nicole to ask about a 2nd consultation to ensure that Zoey understood exactly what I wanted.  The consultation was schedule but unfortunately my schedule wouldn't allow me to attend.  I showed up at my appointment and Zoey had everything put together and it was SPOT on! Professionalism: All correspondences were quite professional.  The shop was clean but kept a warm feeling.  Zoey in all interaction was professional but very friendly.  Support: Nicole who handled all the information and scheduling was very professional in all her correspondences with me.  She worked to try to find timeframe to slot me in and kept me in mind if any cancelations came about.  Overall I felt informed on every step. Overall Nice Person:  Both Zoey and Nicole were very pleasant in all conversation.  They felt as if you were talking to an old friend. However Zoey went above and beyond what I expected and what is expected.  Because I lacked the ability to properly read a Tow away zone Sign, at the end of my session at 8pm I found that my car was towed.   I returned to the studio and Zoey stayed to help me find who had towed my car.  After calling and discovering that they were closed for the night, Zoey kindly offered to Drive me home.  My house was 16 miles away in potential rush hour traffic.  Zoey took her personal time to ensure that I got home without issue after tattooing for 4 hours.  Much more than I ever expected! Okay to the nitty gritty, as most people are looking for this to see end results. My tattoo still needs to be completed, and I have that appointment scheduled,  but I could not be happier with the outcome and the overall experience (outside of my car being towed).  The tattoo looks spot on to my references, the ink is holding so well, the layout, coloration,  and lines are great!  It is the best tattoo I have ( I have five total).   I am glad I found Zoey and the reviews of her are spot on!  She is good, her team is good, the experience is good, and the outcome is good. If I could give ZOEY 20 STARS, I would! 10 for Zoey & 10 for her assistant, Nicole! So Ok, Where do I start... I've had some bad, bad experiences with tattoos...Not so much a problem with what I wanted, but with the execution of the tattoos....and that's no bueno people! I cried from disappointment the last time I got a tattoo, but didn't have the "harry boys" to say something....after that, I said, "NEVER AGAIN!....NO MAS!" I AM NOT A HUMAN SKETCH PAD FOR YOU TO FC*K UP OR PRACTICE ON, AS YOU SEE FIT.....Whether I've dealt with shaky hands, heavy hands, hands that put shit on backwards or put bigger than asked for tattoos on me...It was never quite right. Now I'm stuck with it.UNTIL I MET ZOEY TAYLOR!She's thorough, meticulous, and just a true artist in every sense of the word. She's also a sweetheart, and talks you through the pain, when needed. And MAN IS SHE FAST!!!! I got my ink on the inner part of my left arm, near my armpit. She finished my approx. 4" X 2" tattoo in about 1-1.5 hours! I got another tattoo at a different shop a while back, of something MUCH smaller & much simpler and it took twice the time?! Additionally, her assistant, Nicole was very accommodating with trying to fit me in and communicating with me about my needs, due to special circumstances. Zoey's wait list could take up to 2 months just to have a consultation...she's THAT GOOD people! BTW, CONGRATS NICOLE!!!!!When all was said & done and I took a look at my tattoo for the first time, I cried for a minute ...But this time Tears Of Joy! My tattoo looks so beautiful & feminine... It looks like she did it with a GD sharpie! I've been getting mad compliments from everyone young & old.....and it's BY FAR THE BEST TATTOO I'VE EVER HAD!!! It's even healing fast & very nicely [I follow her aftercare instructions to a T].I will definitely have the rest of my work done by Zoey and few cover-ups too. I would like for her to be my go to artist for as long as she's able to tattoo! I already have the next tattoo brewing in my head, ready for her to turn it into a masterpiece made just for me, myself & I. She is honestly worth every pennTy....yes I said PENNTY! This is a review for Kim--not ZoeyI really feel like I was taken advantage of money wise + quality-wise and dumbly went with it because I didn't know how to say"I don't feel comfortable with you finishing this tattoo". When in doubt--always trust your gut. Hard lesson learned but nothing too far from me getting my tattoo redone elsewhere. Besides my disappointment in the result of the tattoo I felt like Kim was not prepared at all to see me. Took around 30min to set up so I just sat there waiting and the actual tattoo time was not more than 1.5hours. Cost? $460Yeah not sure why I am so dumb to fall for something like that but again that's my own problem of not speaking up earlier to be clear about what the expected quote would be around even if it was hypothetical. I'm So glad I found Zoey on yelp. She's an Amazing tattoo artist and easy to get into contact with when trying to add to your tattoo. She does great portrait photos. I love how my tattoo came out, she takes her time to make sure that every detail that you want is done. My tattoo took 5 hours and I'm so pleased with the outcome! Zoey Taylor PART 1 I have searched high and low for the right tattoo artist who would be able to give an artistic vision to my ramblings.  I am happy to say that I have found that artist and her name is Zoey Taylor.  For my 40th birthday I planned on getting two full arm sleeves.  I was looking for a particular style of tattoo called:  Trash Polka or Photoshop Style, not common in Los Angeles (mostly Germany and France) I did my research, alas no one was really doing this style.  I know that a great tattoo artist can do ANY STYLE so I called a couple of very well respected artists in Los Angeles.  It seemed that nobody I spoke to was able to understand what I was trying to convey.  Then I got an email from Time Out proclaiming the Top Ten Tattoo Artists in Los Angeles.  I came across Zoey Taylor!I looked through Zoey's website and, while her gallery didn't have exactly what I was looking for, she had done elements of what I wanted in different pieces.  Her versatility was astounding.I texted her immediately and explained what I was looking for.. not only did she get back to me very quickly, she got what I wanted, instantly.  We set up a consultation and I when I arrived at her immaculately clean and very intimate shop, I knew this was the place I wanted to be... Our consultation lasted over an hour.  I told her that I am NOT an artist but I am a writer so she asked me to tell the 'story of my tattoo.'  I went on a twenty minute diatribe and afterward, Zoey smiled and said:  "I got it."We booked the appointment and a week later I was in her chair.  Her process is really cool.  Because my sleeve had so many stylistic  elements, and I had given Zoey DOZENS of reference photos, she felt it best to design the piece with me on the same day.  We sat for another two hours making sure every piece fit, every word meant something, every image was perfect and when we had the elements in place she said: "The only thing I ask is that you TRUST me when placing the images on your arm."  She added:  "I know how much this sleeve means to you and I promise you will love it."  I looked at the table (a total of 13 separate pieces) and said:  "Okay.  I trust you."It was magic.  It's like each separate piece just fit on to this jigsaw puzzle that told the story I wanted to tell.  I looked at my arm and nearly cried.  It was perfect.When I finally got into the chair I was delighted to discover Zoey's light touch.  For the next 5 hours Zoey did all the outlines to all the pieces in my sleeve.  We watched Columbo and Murder She Wrote on Netflix and by the end of my first session, I felt I had made a true friend.My tattoo isn't done, I'm going in next week to fill the sleeve in... I wanted to jump on Yelp now and let you all know that Zoey is the ONLY person I will allow tattoo me from here on in.  She is an amazing artist with a clear vision and unfettered respect for her craft.  I can't wait to write Part 2 of this review next week.PART 2Zoey blocked the entire day for me because she knew that it would take all day.  And it did.  She worked tirelessly for 13 hours !  Because my sleeve had MANY elements going on, Zoey methodically attacked each one with the skill of a surgeon.   After she finished a piece, we'd assess and each one was BETTER than the last.Zoey was very conscious of the fact that prior to her, the longest I've ever sat for a tattoo was 3 hours and was constantly making sure I was doing okay.  To be honest, I don't know what possessed me to go the full 13hrs.... Actually, I do.  After each individual piece was finished, I felt so inspired by her work that I wanted to continue, and see more. Zoey's realism work is amazing.... add to the fact that we incorporated a fantasy element to the tattoo, Zoey was able to bridge the multiple styles flawlessly.  She was always conscious (even after the outline) to meld the styles to create a conceptual cohesion... She was able to improvise and, even though she would talk through her intentions when improvising, I trusted her implicitly.   The final product was better than I had ever imagined.  I am so glad I found Zoey... I only have great things to say about Zoey Taylor and her work.  I went to her for an arm piece that I was conjuring up in my head...a pin-up girl!!  Zoey only had encouraging thoughts and advice to help me come up with the perfect design.  She is very patient and a very good listener when it comes to the right design to fit your body.  She won't rush into anything unless the design is EXACTLY what you want. Zoey is honest...if she can tell that you are coming in just to get a tattoo on the fly, she will ask you all the right questions to make sure that you are absolutely sure the piece/design you want is the one for you. Getting down to the actual work, Zoey will always make you feel comfortable as you sit and get your tattoo, she is very professional and also very easy going.  She will play her iPod and maybe sing or hum while she works...and the vibe in her work environment will keep you relaxed and in good spirits.My pin up girl was an amazing piece!!  She worked on it in three separate sessions and I get complimented on it very often. She came up with a "virgin de guadelupe" style piece with the pin-up girl!!  She thought of the idea of creating an arch of flower design around the pin-up girl using a "dias de los muertos" feel which worked out just right and made the piece pop out perfectly!!After the passing of my father, I came back to Zoey to get another piece created.  She was more then willing to do the piece because her most unbelievable work are her portraits!!  You can tell a lot from a tattoo artist by their photo books they lay out in their lounge area, ALWAYS ALWAYS...LOOK AT THEIR WORK!! Their past sessions and pieces will show you how amazing or not-so-amazing their work is....Zoey is incredible at her portraits!!!!I showed her a picture of my father from his early years, I gave her a few days to work on getting the idea put together and once I stepped into Prix for my session...she breezed through the work so beautifully!!  While I was lying there getting my tattoo, (she layed the design on my right forearm)...and I can see the image of my father appear before my eyes and it almost made me want to cry.  The work she did on this tattoo of my father is my PRIZED POSSESSION on my body!  As often as I get complimented for my pin-up girl, my tattoo of my father gets EVEN MORE complimented!!  This piece looks so true-to-life that people can't believe it's a REAL tattoo.  My father's expression and his eyes show emotion and features that people can tell, he looks like me.  My mother hates all my tattoos, but this piece is her pride and joy, because my father looks like she remembers him in his young days, very handsome!!  All in all, I can't tell you enough what amazing work Zoey has put onto my body.  I am very happy with both my pieces she has done and I will continue to get work done by her in the future.  If you think you may have found the right tattoo artist, please take the moment and check out Zoey Taylor...her work speaks for itself!! Prix is a really clean and fairly comfortable place. Unfortunately, the horribly rude receptionists at the front counter do nothing for the place. From the moment my friend and I walked in, we were treated with complete disrespect and received no answers to our questions. We talked directly to an artist who was completely cool and answered all out questions for us. But we took our business elsewhere because no one who is a potential customer, or a human being, should be treated the way we were. There are much better places out there. Read Less

I have been wanting to get a vertical labret done since high school, finally have a good job that said it was ok to get it done. Went online looking for quality and reputation. I heard Rogers name tossed around a few times here and there so i looked him up. Decided he would be the one to pierce me. I first walked into Prix and was greeted with a smile. I was pretty nervous so i asked a few questions. Roger came out prepped his area and had me sit down. The room he sat me had a very clean sterile feel and look to it. He was blasting some tunes which helped me not focus on being nervous. He gave me a run down of how it was all going to go down and helped me breathe and relax. the day after i turned 18 i was out in hollywood celebrating, and as a spur of the moment idea i went here to get my first tattoo! i ended up getting a little cherry blossom on my hip and it was the best experience i could ask for! of course it hurt but they did such a great job at making me feel comftorable...they even put on coldplay for me! Althea and Edd really have made my time in the chair in Pasadena's location really great and relaxing (for what can be expected, lol) I have been to the Pasadena location more than a few times and the staff really knows what they are talking about! After waiting 5 years to decide what tattoo I really wanted, the Tattoo man Dan ""the man"" Sartor in West Hollywood's Prix location was the man who spent 10 hours on my back piece. Even though he has a great talent for the dark H.R. Giger style of artwork, he is talented in other styles as well...my Irish sheild and crown piece was really great! I am glad I went to Dan, and I won't go to any other artist except him for any future tattoo needs.
