Went in to just get an estimate and ended up getting my tattoo here last Friday. The people here were friendly and walked me through the procedure. This was my first tattoo and I was so nervous.  I don't think I will  go anywhere else to get a tattoo. Joseph tatted me and he did such an amazing job and took care of me. He was gentle and checked in with me making sure I was doing okay. The pain level was very low. I went in for a Friday the 13th tattoo (on July 13) and was less than satisfied with my experience. I first thought I just had some bruising, but after a month of allowing the tattoo to heal I realized I have awful tattoo blow out. In addition to that, it was the most painful tattoo I have received, I have lots of tattoos and know the way it should feel when getting them and know the healing I had is not even close to normal. My artist was Joe, he seemed very unsure of what he was doing and it seemed like he knew he fucked up. I would not recommend this shop to ANYONE. Read Less

Contrary to what some of other yelpers have posted here, I personally love Living Dreams.  The owners have always been very polite, respectful and most of all PROFESSIONAL. The shop always has good deals and promotions going on to keep clientele happy and is what keeps many coming back.  The artist all have high quality work and a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The shop is clean and the shop is ran with alot of courtesy and care. Went into Living Dreams for a quote on a tree of Gondor tattoo, spoke with the kidd and ended up getting it done that same day. The kidd did an outstanding job on my tattoo and made me feel comfortable by explaining what he would be doing and how to care for my new tattoo. So I went to go get my naval re pierced after two years of not wearing a ring. Jonathan the piercer was great. Got an industrial piercing on Friday the 13th. After the piercing I looked in the mirror and to me it looked fine. Now that swelling has gone down and it's been a few weeks I've noticed that the top has been pierced extremely thin. Had a follow up appointment with sayer. Gave him a 200 dollar deposit cause he said he was having a Black Friday type sale? With 20 percent off a full day. Anyways he cancelled on me about three times saying he was super swamped with appoiments and he will get to me. Weeks go by and I just ask for my deposit back and that's when he stops answering. My tattoo artist was Rocky at the beginning I was skeptical about getting a tattoo with him. I was wrong this guy got mad skills and he killed it . Tatz909 (Hector) is an amazing artist but gives you terrible customer service, I ve gotten twice to this shop and both times was 1.5 hours late to our scheduled appointment, he takes a 20 minute brakes to smoke weed every 1/2 hour and fucks around all day with his wife on the phone on your time because at the end of your tattoo he charges you since he started tattooing on you ... and doesn't give your credit for all the fucking around he does, keep on the look out for his tattoo time... he loves to play with his time to charge you more... always tries to get 6 hours on any single tattoo it seems like and get you for your money....take lunch and a sleeping bag cause this guy has no respect for people's time... you'll wait like 3 hours to prepare and another 6 to 7 hours to tattoo any single piece.... I rather go too Rubes Tattoos all day long.... fuck this dude !!!! So I scheduled my appointment in February for may 3 at noon.  With a 100$ deposit to his PayPal.  Been following him on instagram for a year.  So I decided coo.  I'll let him do half a sleeve on me cuz his work is good.  Well today comes the day.  I'm a truck driver so I requested the whole week off just to get this tat.  So now im loosing money on both ends.  My deposit. And my weekly payday     Anyways.  I get a Tex from him saying that he needs to reschedule my appointment cuz an opportunity came in for him to be featured in a magazine.  Which was bs of course cuz couple of hrs later I see he did a piece on another person.  Lol.  "Good excuse".  He knows who he is if he reads this.  Point is.  Watch out for these people who can't keep their word or schedule appointments with a deposit if they don't deliver at the end of the day.  As for the deposit. He can keep it.  That's chump change for me.  How is he suppose to build a clientele when he flakes and does you dirty.  His business grows by word of mouth and recommendations. I have been coming here since the place was called "Lines for LIfe" and that is how I met Mike and Cesar and some of the others here. I would say all artists are top notch now. I have  tattoos done by Mike and Cesar but I can tell you all of them are great. Mike is easy going and great with color and details.  He does my memorial tattoos and I love them all. Cesar is also excellent at what he does and he does my black tribal stuff and that black ink just pops and the lines are great and perfect  Cesar also does great portraits . I cant say who is better it just depends on what you are looking for. Every time I am in the shop I see the other artists work and boy they do amazing work too. I plan to try out all of the artists here.  They are very chill here at the shop and everyone is so friendly and helpful. They have a full staff so doing a walk in should be no problem. Living Dreams is appropriately named for my artist Bris. Her dream has always been to find a shop that allowed her to shine. She found it. She has been tattooing for over 6 yrs now. I have had the pleasure of getting 11 of my 15 tattoos by Bris. Besides the fact that she is a great artist, she has a super light hand that makes the experience that much more pleasurable. Don't get me wrong, the tat will still hurt (location location) just not as much. This shop is colorful, loud & filled with a lot of experienced artist. The atmosphere is relaxed & professional.
