Shelly is clean,well trained,professional and stands by her work but be careful of expecting what you see in the pictures for permanent makeup. I wanted to say a few things about my experience with Shelley Todd and her business as a permanent make up artist. I've been getting my brows done over the period of 3 years or so due to really light features naturally and have wanted the appearance of darker brows. I was in search of a new artist to do a fill in for me, since my have faded. I found her referral through my sister and I have to say from the first consultation visit to the actual day of getting the work done, it's been a very great experience. Not only is she a very kind when she works with you, but really takes her time to find out what your needs are. Shelley is capable of good work, but make sure you get a pre consultation to outline your expectations for the price, maybe in writing. My experience was disappointing when it came to the adjustments following the procedure. No perm makeup artist gets it right the first time, adjustments should be part of the original price in the few weeks during healing following the procedure. She expected more money, even though the 3 small goals I stressed were not all met. I paid $150 more than her quote. And what I was having done was a fix from a previous perm makeup artist. No measuring was necessary, pretty quick and easy yet I ended up paying as much as the original makeup. and still my main goal wasn't met, but probably could have been if I offered more $. People doing this kind of work should not take advantage of the vulnerable position you are in to make more money. Just deliver what the customer has paid for...the law of fair exchange. Read Less

For years I had been searching for an artist that I could trust with permanent makeup. I definitely wanted to find someone who did quality work. Thanks to solid Yelp reviews and a great website, I finally found Shelly! I LOVE the way she created realistic eyebrows with just the right color and shape. And the eyeliner was also perfect. I had a great experience with Shelley.  Shelley tattooed my eyebrows and eyeliner couple years ago and they looked very natural. Just recently she trained a wonderful women and I was the model for eyebrow tattooing. Shelley assisted her with creating an arch and darkening my light eyebrows. There was a HUGE MISTAKE MADE! Some how, unknown 2 me, until SHELLEY brought it to my attention, that there was a 1 star rating?!, on her site, by me, no less! I NEVER would have knowingly rated SHELLEY 1 star, EVER, in fact if there were 10, i would MOST DEF., GIVEN HER 10! I LOVE SHELLEY, AND THINK SHE DOES ABSOLUTELY AWESOME WORK!
