I shouldn’t be rating before going but I felt the need to add my two cents which I learned through the artist my husband and I used before he moved. This may be ink going on your body but this is still art. And tattooist rightfully get offended when your pricing there worth against another. Not everyone understands this due to the thought it is yours sense it’s on your body. It’s a joint venture an artist and customer come to an agreement upon together. Try remembering this is a form of art that dates back centuries. It’s one you pay for but it’s the artist’s even after you walk out door. I got my rook pierced here and I had a great experience! The piercer was super nice and she had so many jewelery options for me to pick from! I was nervous because the rook piercing goes through such a thick piece of cartilage but the piercing was fast and easy! It was 40$ and worth it! Read Less

I love this shop by far the most east going and friendly staff. I got a rose sternum tattoo by rowdy and I absolutely love it. He worked really hard to make it just how i wanted it and he has one of the lightest hands, so it didnt hurt so much. I recently got a piercing here by an older woman, worst experience I've had yet. The bar was way to close to the surface, it was crooked, and I wasn't even asked if I approved of the placement. I had a different tattoo parlor take a look and it turns out I wasn't the first person to have a bad experience with this place, multiple people have come in with similar complaints. So I called to speak to a manager and it turns out the same woman who did the job is the manager. I will never go back and I highly suggest you go elsewhere. Yes sylin tattoos is the cheapest in town but you literally get what you pay for. If you care about your body the slightest bit, you will stay far away from this place. Read Less

I had gotten my septum pierced a few months ago in sf . I took it out about a week ago and I had attempted to put it back in as the hole was still there. I pierced it myself w and earring but the gauge was not big enough to fit the septum ring. I went here to see if they would gauge it bigger to fit the ring and the lady there treated me well and re pierced it for me for free! I thought it was very kind of her. Give her some business!! I had my tongue pierced awhile back by someone in Sacramento for $40. The piercer placed it crooked and was very slanted. They also pierced me with such a long barbell that my swelling did not go down for two weeks. Here, they were very professional and quick. I got my tongue repierced for only $20. The piercer (I wish I could remember her name to give her credit) did a fantastic job. She centered my piercing and pierced it straight through. The piercer gave me the appropriate barbell length for my tongue, making my healing process a smooth one. This place is horrible I went into today to get matching lip piercings for my bfs birthday the piercer did not give me the right length I have fuller lips she used the shortest gage witch I knew this placed seemed gross compared to any normal shops so as I'm driving home the jewelry will not tighten at all repetitively  came out i had to re pierce it three times by the time I got home the ball was complete  missing would not stay tightened so I go to my local tattoo shop he totally said there was no room for it because it will swell she used the wrong piece of jewelry so I had to have it redone again do not go get pierced at this shop !!!!!! I tried to call and explained what happens she says I'm not giving u your money back I said that's fine but she should make it right with a new jewelry that would actually fit she started being very mean and rude to me I couldn't believe how horrible she treated me when it was her fault these people are Jews and there shop is gross FYI I told her next time to make sure she checks her clients lips and she is bad business was a horrible experience and they offered nothing to make it right I pray that lady learns some class and stop rippin people off not good business keep going that route I doubt u will be open much longer people don't waste your money on this shit shop !!!!!! The only things going for Stylin' Tattoo is that when I got my piercing done, I saw that she used a one-time needle and cleaned everything, and it was cheap. Other than that, I'd be worried. The place looked dirty and run-down, the jewelry selection was poor, I was not ID'ed at all (I hadn't been 18 for more than a week), I got no aftercare instructions, I wasn't told what gage my piercing was (which, admittedly, I should have asked, but first of all I should have been told), the bleeding that I had was cleaned with cheap paper towels, and I didn't even know my piercer's name. If you are literally only concerned with cheapness, go here. If you are concerned at all with safety, don't. Read Less
