Jimmy was awesome! It was my first tattoo and Jimmy took the time to go over what I wanted, where I wanted my tattoo, how large it would be and a few other questions I had not considered. I started a sleeve on my left arm here about 1 year ago and I love this shop so much. I have my work done by Ashley and she is incredible. My experience at white lotus and with Ashley were great! Ashley came highly recommended by a friend and I'm so thankful that I got the opportunity to work with Ashley. First, the place was momentarily hard to find but once I walked through the front door I noticed how clean the environment was and professional the people were. It was a warm and inviting experience. Second, My artist Ashley was amazing! She took the time to hear my vision and worked with me to solidify a design that I loved. She was very creative and allotted time to work collaboratively on my final concept. As I got my tattoo on my side, said to be a painful location, Ashley worked in way that made an hour and a half comfortable. Due to my concept not being completely finalized when I arrived, Ashley informed me that we would have to schedule another session to complete my design. She made sure to get me on the books as soon as possible. During my time there, my fiancé got inspired and is planning to get work done when I return as well. Ashley blocked out time for both of us. Linzy is the best! I have had three tattoos by her, so I know what I'm talking about. She's professional and artistic, easy to deal with and friendly. The studio is a place you can walk into and NOT feel like you've entered someone's lair. It's welcoming instead of creepy. Book in advance; put down $50 on your work. They are weeding out flakes and who can blame them? Linzy's and the other artists' time is valuable. Come in with something specific or let the artists create (if you're confident). The good reputation by this shop is well-earned. Everything is clean; everyone is professional and friendly, and the talent is off the charts! I got a beautiful piece done by Jessy D, and I've received non-stop compliments. It was a fairly large piece, and she was in it for the long haul, and she made it happen in one sitting, which I was grateful for, for a variety of reasons. And, she's a super awesome person!! So funny and kind, and very generous with her time/skills/art. I think she's out from time to time with health stuff, but no worries: everyone in this shop seemed super chill, and they all had a good energy and vibe. I've been tattooed here by Roberto Euán (goldlagrimas on Instagram) 4 separate times over the course of about 2 years and every time its an amazing experience. He's an amazing artist and gives me exactly what I ask for every single time. I've recommended him to so many people and they all have similar experiences. He makes the experience so enjoyable & I'll always continue to get tattooed by him (until I have no space left, that is!). The entire studio is very comfortable & relaxed. And due to it being appointment only there aren't random people walking in and out which is very nice and gives a sense of privacy. I got my first tattoo done here back in October of 2016 by Linzy and am 100% in love with how it turned out! White Lotus is an appointment only shop (go to their website for info on appointments) but the cool thing is that they don't have a phone in the shop so the artists can work in peace. After emailing the shop, Linzy replied a day or two later and we had a consultation through email. I had a design in mind and she was very helpful and responded quickly. When I came in for my appointment, I was very impressed. The facility is clean and quiet, the artists are great, and the work speaks for itself. Linzy was kind and thoroughly explained how to care for my tattoo during the healing process. After that, I was given a care card with information and was given names of recommended products.  Prices are reasonable! I plan on coming back to White Lotus for future tattoos. I cannot express the gratitude I have for the work Jessy D. was able to do for me. I have a large peacock on the back of my left calf, from knee pit to ankle.  It was a tattoo I had done about 9 years ago from a shop in NYC and it was a cover-up piece.  Although the peacock tattoo wasn't a bad tattoo, it was very dark and very masculine with very hard lines.  I moved to Ventura about 7 years ago... And a tattoo artist based in Port Hueneme happened to notice my work and mentioned he could "fix" my cover up for me... I don't know what it was, maybe the fact that he immediately knew it was a cover up.. that was a selling point for me. Unfortunately, he sold me on it and I went to see him. He didn't listen to what I wanted out of our sessions. He darkened and hardened the tattoo. I won't even discuss the amount of money..... Ugh what was I thinking.I came to Jessy D. with no real expectations because I wasn't sure what she could do at this point with such a large, dark piece but she completely transformed my peacock into a beautiful bright feminine piece that I am finally proud to own!! For years, I have worn pants and long skirts to cover my legs. I was embarrassed and ashamed of my tattoo and I didn't want to share that part of me with anybody.  I am finally comfortable in my own skin.  I am so happy with my choice to come to Jessy. Just got a tattoo by Danielle at White Lotus Body Art and it was a great experience from beginning to end.  The tattoo looks exactly as I wanted and as the swelling goes away I expect even better results. Danielle explained what she was doing ahead of time so I was prepared and comfortable through it all.  The studio was clean and relaxing so I would have no issues recommending the salon or Danielle to anyone looking to get ink, either first time or just adding to your collection :-). I got tattooed by Jessy recently. She was very nice, professional, and was open to any feedback about the design. This wasn't my first tattoo, but I'm sure I would've felt really comfortable if it was because she was so patient and good at making the whole session go smoothly. Yes, she is booked for months in advance but when it comes to tattoos, waiting for something you want well done is always worth the wait. The whole place was very clean and of course, new needles and supplies for each client. (Why would you even consider a place that doesn't??? But anyway, I digress.) I just got home from getting tattooed by Sandra Price, who is the owner. Not only is my tattoo perfect, but Sandra is the most amazing artist. She worked with me closely to make sure that she designed a tattoo that I loved.Not only that, but the atmosphere here is so peaceful and calming. I have only had one tattoo prior to this (let's just say it was in a not so great shop) so I was apprehensive about what to expect. But White Lotus is clean and inviting. Made an appointment with Danielle to get my long awaited "when Pigs Fly" tattoo.As someone who has high anxiety with needles but a love for meaningful body art, she eased my nerves and gave me a tour of the facility, along with prior communication of my needs and wants in my design.
