I found Hot Ink on Yelp and noticed the good reviews. I sent a message to request an appointment, and Alex got back to me very fast. I sent him a picture of a tattoo and we set up an appointment with him for the very next day. Me, my sister and daughter were getting matching butterfly tattoos with a cancer ribbon,  symbolizing our Mother's fight with breast cancer. I came in for an industrial piercing. I had talked to the man (Mario I believe) on the phone prior and saw him when I went in. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He answered my many many and was very helpful on recommendations. I felt totally comfortable and that he was going to do the best placement for my body. I've been coming here for a over a decade and I love everyone on the staff. I have had a tattoo and piercings from almost everyone here.Greg has done 6 of my tats, and they all still look new and vibrant. I love his traditional tattoo style and his personality. I've acquired some of his artwork for my home as well. I know that this place is super sanitary and professional.Every tattoo I have gotten here is high quality and the outlines are very dark and the color is very bright ink and doesn't fade as fast as other places. I will always come here. There are no judgements here, everyone on the staff feels like family and I can tell they are all passionate artists that take pride in their work. I have nothing but great things to say about Hot Ink. All the employees are very professional and easy going. I've had three tattoos done at Hot Ink. Two by Austin, and One by Mario. Austin is very professional, easy going, relaxed and makes you feel extremely comfortable when getting you ready for your tattoo and during. Plus, his work speaks for itself! My tattoo experience with him as well as Mario have been nothing but great. I also took my youngest sister in to see Mario for her belly piercing, she was a little nervous but as soon as we arrived he made her nerves go right away and she was beyond happy with the work performed as was I. I got a tattoo done by Jesse a couple of years ago. I did my research for months and  I thought found a really good, talented artist. On Yelp, the shop had 5 stars and his reviews had testimonies from people saying they wouldn't get a tattoo done by any other person but him, which I thought to be the ultimate compliment. His Instagram was filled with amazing work, so I thought I couldn't go wrong. I was mistaken. He did a horrible job and when I told him he needed to do something to fix it, he replied with "Everyone has tattoos they do not like. Even my girlfriend has a tattoo she regrets." Then he showed me one of his he didn't care for.  Great commentary coming from a tattoo artist, I know. But honestly, I couldn't believe this man, who came so recommended, had failed to give me a beautiful piece of art. The quality did not match his Instagram work and I felt fooled. He did not offer anything to make it right which I thought meant that his botch job was intentional. After I got over my poor me phase, I began laser treatments to fade it. The nurse doing my treatments said it would take many treatments as the tattoo artist did many layers of ink, which he only sees in coverups! I've gone here two times, and I'm pretty frikkin sure that I don't think I'll need to go anywhere else. Austin has done both of my lettering/scripture tattoos. He's so totally gentle and I like how he doesn't take it personal since I don't talk very much. But he's so gentle, I can't stress this enough. I got a butterfly tattoo about 4 months ago , I had to go back and get it retouched because the whole tattoo literally faded out. Honestly the tattoo was something so simple and had dot work in it but just looking at it retouched I'm disappointed how it came out . Had my first tattoo with my 3 best friends.  We were a from out of town and meeting for a girl's weekend. When I started thinking and saw the shop I figured I want to support local businesses and researched their artist for what I wanted. Went into this shop looking to make an appointment for a piece I was wanting, as well as a touch up that couldn't be done by the original artist. I met with Austin, told him what I wanted and made an appointment. With other shops I've gone to, I didn't know what the artist had drawn up until the day of the appointment but Austin went the extra mile to text me and show me what he had drawn so we were able to make any changes beforehand. I wanted a tattoo for my 23rd birthday. My tattoo artist who's done all my work prior, moved out of state so I went ahead and looked around for new artists. Whatever you do.. DO NOT go to SCOTT. I made an appointment with him July 7, 2017 for a back piece. Fast forwarding to LATE OCTOBER.. And guess what? STILL NOT DONE. He hasn't even tried to get in contact with me to finish his project. What's even more F U C K E D UP in my opinion.. Is that I paid him $500 in CASH UPFRONT for the entire piece (even though it wasn't done) because he ‘NEEDED it for his kids.’ SCOTT doesn't care about his clients and finishing projects he started, especially when you pay him in full. He STOLE $250 from me. I've NEVER had anyone that I've done business with, EVER TRY to get over on me like how he’s done. I was super patient with him, but after multiple excuses to get out of finishing his work, he clearly has shown himself to be one SHADY ass person. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, LET HIM TOUCH YOU AND DO NOT GET ANY WORK DONE BY HIM. HE’S A LIAR AND WILL JACK YOU FOR YOUR MONEY. After a bad experience with Allied Ink and a tattoo artist forgot to put us in the schedule book after my gf booked a week advance we were lucky to find this place! It was late after 6pm and Greg Santos my tattoo artist was nice enough to have us come by and they even hooked us up on the tatts! They gave a better deal than Ann from Allied tattoos. After calling in and finding out an appointment time wasn't required, my friend and I went in one afternoon last week and pleasantly surprised that our artist, Greg, was able to dedicate about 3 hours to our tattoos.  He helped us with some decisions, his drawings were awesome and he took the time to properly sanitize everything.  I had a tat from about 8 years ago but was nervous to do it again, and it was the first time for my friend.  Greg was super laid back, helped us feel totally at ease.  Yeah sure it hurt like hell but overall the experience was great.  I'll be back to see Greg when I'm ready for another one! Donovan did a great job with my piercings and making me feel comfortable and Rio helped me out with the quickness when one of the balls fell off my piercing a week or two after. My younger sister and I went in for nose piercings, kinda spur of the moment-like. We went in and were instantly greeted like our business mattered hah. We were greeted by the piercer, Donovan, who took our information and was very informative on how the procedure would go. And me being a big anxiety attack with piercings, he was VERY relaxing and professional and made me so much more at ease.He did the breathe in-breathe out method and it was so much easier than I had worked it out in my head to be.
