Mike Dewey is the man!!!! My fiancée and I have been wanting to get tattoos for awhile now and we finally found free time to go through with it... I called the shop hoping to find an opening and they took my fiancée in the same day I called! It was her first tattoo and Mike did such an amazing job. He went full detail into the process of how it would be, and the cleanliness of their shop just WOW! The next day, Mike was able to get me in for my tattoo and words can't describe the happiness I have with my body. I left the shop in tears with how beautiful it came out. I got my tattoo on my ribs (a not so pleasant area) and he made sure to have it accommodate my body and I am forever thankful for him and the gift he has left on my body.

After much research decided on this place- I was fortunate ... Justin worked on Sunday ( Mother's Day). I wanted a tattoo done on my back. I explained what I wanted. I shared some images and he listened closely. He had some ideas too and his experience. Brainstormed a little and got started. I couldn't be more pleased! He was very patient and calm. Letting me know what was going on and what was to come next. His work is amazing. Very detailed ,flawless even. Will definitely be returning!! Highly satisfied!! Thank you!!

I know this is long long over due, but here it is. I came into this shop one night and wanted to get a tattoo. This was maybe 2015 or 2016. The guy took two hours and went so deep into my skin the ink spread & the ink blacked out. The ink is still risen and bumpy. I thought it was just going to heal and it never did. Learned my lesson not to come here.

Justin was fabulous. We were able to walk in on a saturday. 3 of my girlfriends and I wanted matching tattoos. Justin drew up something we all loved, and answered all of our questions + addressed all concerns. He was very patient and kind. We all had a very pleasant experience and love our tattoos. The shop itself is very clean and well-lit. There's a piercing place upstairs if you're in the mood for more body mods! Empire Tattoo of Upland just might be my new go-to for tattoos in the IE. I highly recommend!

Recently visited, and am here to report a pleasant experience. I was in here as a walk-in on a Saturday evening to celebrate my birthday with 3 of my best friends by getting matching tattoos. Justin was not only artistically compatible, but also funny in a way that made you feel comfortable that he was stabbing you with a needle repeatedly. The work was clean and reasonably priced. The shop: CLEAN! I would come back, and recommend!

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is having a great day. This tattoo shop has 5 star reviews everywhere. And I guess I just picked a shitty day to go in. I got a hand tattoo at this location. It was a rose. Colored. Blue. It didn't take much time. And I was pretty satisfied when I left. Of course the ink was thick and fresh. After the tat healed it really came out horrible. I have never got it redone. I just don't like going back to the same artist the second time. I have included some pics just so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. And judge for yourself. Seems every single person was super happy with their tattoo except me. Just bad luck

My bestie and I walked in to this shop on a whim. We wanted to do something epic! She settled on a nose piercing (which she got done upstairs), and I, a small tattoo. I'm SO GLAD fate brought us here! Justin tattooed the perfect cross/heart on my wrist. The whole process was fast, INCREDIBLY CLEAN, fair priced, and for the most part, painless! I live in Ventura County, but I'd definitely come back to see him for future tattoo wants. Try this place out. You won't be disappointed!!

This the tattoo shop that you want to go to if you need some work done. It was awesome.

Justin is an Amazing tattoo artist!! My family referred me to him and I am glad I went with Justin! I love his personality! Always boosting you up and never puts you down! He tells you how it is. This shop has a $40 deposit when making an appointment. On the weekends it is walk in only so first come first serve. When I was ready to tap out because of the pain he talked me through completion. I will be coming back to Justin from now on!!

Billy W is professional and kind but he claimed he did photo realism and the first session was good, but at the second session, he really dropped the ball, so bad that I've had to spend $600 just to fix his poor color work. COLOR REALISM IS NOT IN HIS WHEELHOUSE. A true artist would have referred me to anther artist in the shop with the capabilities, not try and learn on me. Lara also wrote a bad review about Billy, but I didn't listen, so shame on me.

Recently visited, and am here to report a pleasant experience. I was in here as a walk-in on a Saturday evening to celebrate my birthday with 3 of my best friends by getting matching tattoos. Went here for my first big tattoo Joe helped me out he was very professional and gave me a great tattoo! He is a great artist.Super happy and the price was great.The place is really clean as well, felt comfortable. All around great experience, I would recommend this place any day! Will definitely be coming back.

Billy W is professional and kind but he claimed he did photo realism and the first session was good, but at the second session, he really dropped the ball, so bad that I've had to spend $600 just to fix his poor color work. COLOR REALISM IS NOT IN HIS WHEELHOUSE. A true artist would have referred me to anther artist in the shop with the capabilities, not try and learn on me. Lara also wrote a bad review about Billy, but I didn't listen, so shame on me.
