Stopped by a few days ago and spoke with Jake. I showed him a picture of what I was looking for and he immediately seemed very condescending. I tried to brush it away, thought maybe it was just me but nope. I tried to push through but it didn't get any better. My mind was set on what I wanted and the placement but he kept trying to talk me out of it and not in a constructive way but rather making me feel silly about it. I respect and take into consideration the artist's suggestions as this is his craft, but Jake lacked tact and instead came across smug. I went to a different shop, was treated with respect and got exactly what I asked for where I wanted. Just because I don't have visible tattoos doesn't mean I don't appreciate them any less. Everything can mean something to everybody and there is no need to put anyone down because of it. If you're thinking of getting your first tattoo or don't have any visible ink, I suggest you go somewhere else unless you want to be spoken down to or ridiculed. JAKE was amazing and all the guys here were fun and made me feel super comfortable, they play good relaxing music and all have their own great things about them! I had a tattoo done here by Elijah about two months ago and I love it! My hubby loves it ! He likes looking at it when he can ... imagine a corset but tattooed on ur body. The place was very clean and well organized. It was my first tattoo, and I definitely had a great first experience. Gabe was very quick in doing the tattoo, and it came out well. They have many different styles of tattoos. I got a simple signature and name as a tattoo, but they have many options for the more detailed tattoos. Gabe mentioned to me that he can even do a tattoo of a pressed flower by scanning an actual pressed flower and making it a design. Had to leave a great review for Jake! After a lot of going back and forth with scheduling which was completely on me, Jake agreed to do my tattoo. We traveled very far and this weekend was the only weekend I could come out. Jake was traveling in the morning from out of state and agreed to take me last minute. It was a last minute decision went in for a simple lightening bolt tattoo (early-mid March) Gabe Cervantes did mine and my boyfriends piece. At first, loved it (it was freshly done and looked like it was fine). I am now so disappointed in it. Lines are not straight. The lines are not neat and from digging so deep. I see Gabe here. I first went in for a small tattoo with my little sister. I'd yet to find a local artist, but had come across his work while looking and figured I'd try a small piece with him and see how it went. He was very particular when it came to the consultation, insisting we give our input on everything until it was right, no guessing, no vague answers. Very thorough. I love this place!!! I got my first tattoo by Gabe, he was amazing and professional. Then I went back to get my nipples pierced by Tommy. I was always allergic to most jewelry the reason why I was afraid to get pierced but after making an appointment with Tommy he explain everything and told me that the jewelry he was using was nothing compared to others, he was really informative after 3 days of getting my nipples pierce all the soreness went away and I recovered right away. That's something I never saw with my belly button piercing which I got at another shop in Temecula. Loved it. Went in once prior spoke to the owner, a cool artist himself. Had a cancellation with my guy at Six Feet Under and went to Breakthrough the next day 'cause I really wanted a tattoo. Met up with Elijah P and he helped me to plot out a plan. I only have two so this being my third I was literally paralysis of analysis and Elijah helped me get straight on my design and overall plan.
