Gabriel was my tattoo artist at BNW. He's done an phenomenal job with a tribute that was for my girlfriend whom was taken to Heaven before any of us had expected. My girlfriend Madis had sat down with Gabriel at his previous tattoo shop where he designed a beautiful scroll "Surrender" with a small cross at the end. Gabriel has duplicated this for many of us. This past Friday Gabriel Perfectly designed a Sweet, but Feminine, Beautiful Watercolor Butterfly with pink, yellow and lavender colors along with two small doves flying to heaven. He crated a similar butterfly for my girlfriend that joined me on Friday also placing it near the "Surrender" he previous had created on her left outer wrist expect designing it with orange. We both Love, Love, Love our butterflies and can't wait for it to heal completely to begin showing off. Gabriel met every single expectation and beyond! He is very articulate, he has a steady hand but yet gentle. Gabriel is very patient especially with the placement aside my left rib cage. My piece is about 3" x 3" and Gabriel worked so much details into his design, including the wings of the two small doves. He left me in awe!!!!BNW tattoo shop is extremely clean, the work station's are cleaned down thoroughly with antiseptic chemicals then prepped with plastic. "The kid" or Gabriel is honestly the most down to earth person. He's talented, and just knows exactly what you want. Came to Brave New World for a cartilage piercing. We talked to Chris, who answered all my questions and there was quite a few being the mother of the 17 year old getting it done! I'm pretty disappointed with my call to this establishment this afternoon, as I called looking for Rory Hill. I understand that Rory is no longer working at this tattoo shop. However, I was given wrong information about Rory. He has not moved out of state. He might have his information incorrect on his phone, granted, but to offer information and assume he's moved out of state and then to try to offer your business to me, I found strange. People shouldn't fabricate the truth or tell a lie to try and steal a persons business. A simple, "I'm sorry he doesn't work here anymore" would have been sufficient. I've been a repeat customer here since I met Rory and amber in 2014 and all I can say is, they are simply the best. I would not set foot in any other tattoo shop. Sean rocks!  He has done three SICK tats for me, he's a really cool guy and he fixed one I got from classic tattoo.  He also brought all the work on my left arm together better than I thought was even possible!  Everyone in the shop is super cool, and their prices are great!  I've been to several of the local shops and i would only recommend two-and the other one costs quite a bit more for the same quality work...(I think at the other studio pay a premium because the owner is quite famous). I went through 4 tattoo places until I found Brave New World.  I won't even mention the last place I went to who ruined my arm piece.  But Amber fixed it up nicely and made me forget about my mishap!  Amber and Rory are the best.  Elaine, Andy and everyone in there are just so nice and cool vibes.  I highly recommend Amber as she did my arm sleeve but I got to see Rory's work, Elaine, Sean and Andy's and they are all exceptional and creative.  You want to be welcomed and feel good and get an amazing tattoo with vegan ink.  You definately should go see them.  You will just get ripped off and have to deal with egos with any other place.  These guys are the best and deserve all the business in the world.Thanks so much!  I'll be back when I get to Cali or get your asses to NY! I had EyeRene do a forward helix piercing on me. She is honestly the best. She made me feel so comfortable and talked me through the entire thing. She only wanted the best for me, from the right piercing for my ear size, the right location, to the right jewelry. If she did tattoos, I would go back to her in a heartbeat. I read a lot of awesome reviews on Yelp about BNW So I made an appointment with Elena to get some lettering and a Roman numeral. I'm the biggest chicken when it comes to tattoos but I can honesty say that the pain was tolerable and I'm happy with the outcome. My dad got his sleeves done by Andi and all I can say is WOW!!!! She is one of those artists that goes off on her own imagination and just goes wild!! Her artwork is AMAZING!!!! She fixed a cover up he already had PLUS completed his entire sleeve work. I went in and got a hindu elephant started and still have 3 more sittings to go. She has gone above and beyond what I imagined and is even adding things I didnt think of!!! I love her creativity, suggestions and most of all her super light hand!!!! Amber Anderson did my tattoo and she was absolutely wonderful. I went in to this place telling her an idea I wanted and she drew up a picture exactly how I imagined it. She got me in quite fast, I only waited 2 weeks for my first session. I did have to do a total of 3 sessions but they were all quite close to each other. It's a very nice and clean place and everyone there is awesome. I have seen the work of Rori and Andi who also work there and they do amazing work as well. You do have to put an $80 deposit up front which goes towards you're drawing of the tattoo and the total of everything at the end. I will definitely be going here again to get my next tattoo!! I booked an appointment with Amber Anderson for a two inch by one inch tattoo three days ahead of time with no scheduling issues. The shop requires a deposit to hold your appointment and was fine with my boyfriend dropping it off for me.  When he dropped off the deposit he showed Amber what I was thinking about getting and Amber had a sketch ready when I showed up. I didnt like the sketch which she was absolutly fine with, she did not try and push anything I wasnt comfortable with and after chatting for a while she drew up something far superior to the reference piece I brought in.I was a huge baby and Amber was super sweet about it. She could sense when I was nervous and would distract me. The entire staff was friendly and accomodating, at one point a bearded man named Ben stopped by to help distract me and the newly graduated apprentice Andi did as well. The experience was excellent but more important, Amber's work is incredible. I have uploaded a picture of my candy corn bat tattoo into the yelp album. The amount of detail that she was able to get into a two inch wide tattoo is ridiculous, the colors are bright and clear, the shading and highlighting is intricate. This is one of the best tattoo shops I've ever been too. Pricing is the best in the upland only 120.00 an hour, and there always willing to work deals with you for good size work...   From what I understand the shop is under new owner ship. I've been getting tattooed here for almost 2 years and just in the last month wow what a change has been made, and the best thing for me is now the take all major credit cards when before they just took cash. Good news for them bad news for me... After all the years I've been getting tattooed I Finally have found a place that's warm and inviting where all the people are supper cool.  I also want to say its kind of nice to  go to a shop with 2 girl tattooers and 2 guy tattooers, my wife is just getting into tattooing so as a couple we can go get tattooed at the same time. This is a tattoo shop with no big heads or attitudes all the tattooers are down to earth and there not looking to rip you off.....   I love this place and would highly recommended to anyone looking for not only a great one of a kind tattoo but also a great time...
