Would definitely recommend. Got both my tattoos done at Dire Wolf, and both were walk-ins. Jeff, shop owner, helped me out and did my first tattoo. I hadn't decided on a font and he pulled up his laptop and scrolled through a few options with me. Helped me compare them, then hammered out the tattoo in about 7 minutes. Efficiency Went back again this year for my birthday and again walked in. This time, Tyler, fit me in in-between appointments. Did a great job with the lines and again was in n' out in about 30-35 minutes. They charged me about $100 both times, which was rad. Dire Wolf Tattoo was amazing. I went in the same day and brought in my design.  I showed the owner (Jeff) what I wanted and he was very eager and willing to help me with my design.  No pressure at all.  He really seemed to care and wanted to make sure that I would be happy with my choice. He changed the position of my tattoo a few different times until he thought it was perfect!  I felt bad but he said "we'll do this as many times as needed until we get it perfect". Wanted to get a tattoo for myself for my birthday. Had passed Dire Wolf on the boulevard many times. Stopped in without an appointment hoping someone would be available. Got my first tattoo here, by Katelyn Crane! She was very helpful in explaining the tattoo process and aftercare, as it was my first time. Katelyn drew a lovely design, and was patient with me to accommodate re-drawings so I could be happy with the final version. The shop is very clean and well spaced. The tattooing went smoothly, it's been 2 weeks and it's healing perfect, I feel very comfortable in how safe and healthy the artist's technique and equipment are. Great overall experience. After meeting 2 of the other artists from the shop and seeing their portfolio I would honestly get work done by any of the skilled artists I saw. I went to Dire yesterday with an idea for my 1st tattoo but without an appointment. The shop is clean and inviting. Everyone was very friendly and the shop felt upscale. I discussed my idea with Wyatt and he was so excited to do it he said he could get me in and stay late to do it. While I had a picture of the basic design, Wyatt amped it up with a second color. He stayed 2 hours after closing to complete it for me. He was allot of fun to be around and very insightful, professional and a true artist. I can't thank him enough for the outcome. Wyatt has done two pieces for my wife and one for me. He's a total pro really knows his stuff and is reasonably priced. He's also willing to listen to his customers and collaborate which is tough sometimes with some artists who aren't willing or able to share your vision when you first come in- not the case with Wyatt. It's been a long time coming to have a high end tattoo parlor in the Conejo Valley. I can tell you first hand that if you are looking for a professional seasoned tattoo artist you will be very happy that you found Dire Wolf. Jeffrey has incredible range and has been at it a long time, but he is also a great human being in general. He has tattooed a lot of my friends over the years. After a short search for an artist for a memorial tattoo for my mother I was pointed to Dire Wolf and told to see Tyler. He wasn't there but Wyatt was and I'm more than happy that he was. I've been to a couple places and didn't feel comfortable with the artists in the shops I went to. No where special, just on my rides I'd see and place and stop in. I knew what I wanted first and foremost and Wyatt understood it no problem. A couple others looked at me like they were trying to process the vision I had even with pictures. Then I saw his portfolio along with Tyler and Jeffs. All three are awesome artists. But Wyatt specializes in traditional bold colors. After a few minutes if chit chat in was sold made my appointment for that following Sunday. After the finalization of the stencil I was on the table on my way to put my vision on my chest. A little over 2 hours later he was done and it was absolutely perfect. Colors and shading were exactly what  I wanted and way more. Even my wife said it came out better than what she pictured. I can go on forever about it but I won't. I will however HIGHLY recommend going to Dire Wolf and talk to these guys about your next tattoo (s)  They will most definitely take care of you and help you with your designs. I will be going back. Jeff is an awesome artist an tattooist! Loved the work that Dan Plumley did for me in Chicago and turns out that Jeff knows Dan! Jeff was very reasonably priced and was honest about our ideas. Offered great suggestions. My wife and I did a walk in and got matching tattoos for our 20th anniversary. My daughter liked Jeff enough to get a tattoo for herself. She made an appointment and sent Jeff some ideas. He drew up a great design for her an she is loving her art!! Place is clean and I trust Jeff's work.
