Came here on Friday the 13th to get a tattoo. I waited for 4 hours to get a tattoo, I didn't mind waiting I understand how busy the shop is, what I didn't like is it was finally my turn. Then a tattoo artist told the girls in the front that they had allowed a 17 year old to get tatted. So then the ugly girl from the front with the stank face said she needed my ID. I didn't have my ID I had a picture of it. I didn't like the fact that all of a sudden they are asking for ID when they weren't asking anyone. I did have my ID but apparently I had to physically have it. I understand the policy & procedure but it's not fair that plenty of people before me didn't have to show theirs. I came from far away & I waited so long to tattoo. I feel like the prettier girl was going to allow me to be tattooed but the ugly bitch told her "your going to accept it?!" like dam bitch why you so bitter. & supposedly she asked the main boss for me but he said no. I feel like the other people were so cool & nice it was just that bitter stank face didn't want to be told otherwise. Smh whatever. Read Less

Totally botched my bellybutton piercing!!!! They pierced it too thick and now no other belly rings will fit in it. I went in because it looked very obviously not right, saw a different piercer at this shop who said I was fine. Then when to a great place in town who put a longer jewelry piece on to make it easier for my body to heal. DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. Read Less

I came here to get my first tattoo. The first time I came for just an outline of a symbol. The lines came out uneven, like a part of it was thicker than the rest. I'm not sure if it was my fault that the ink bled because I put a shirt over it right away. I wasn't given any sheet or tips on aftercare either, but I should've asked. Then a couple of months later I decided I wanted the symbol filled in and a little extra added to it. So I come back. I noticed after it healed that there are patches of my skin I can still see. I asked for it to be filled in completely. I know it's not my fault this time because my husband had a sheet he got from a different tattoo studio with the aftercare and we did everything it said. Now I'm just really bummed about my not well done first tattoo and I'm going to have to spend more money to get it done right, but definitely elsewhere. The staff seemed friendly, the shop was really cool but I just feel that they rushed doing my tattoo. :( Read Less

Went to get my septum pierced today and everything was fine and dandy until I looked at it in the mirror. He used a slightly curved bar that was the type of jewelry you place on an eyebrow piercing. I immediately went inside and asked if he could remove it and place a regular circle septum ring that you are able to flip up due to me wanting to place it up for work and he declined. My friend had purchased a new pack earlier that day, I wasn't asking for a free piece of jewelry. I then tried to switch it myself because the eyebrow bar that he placed between my septum would not flip up. In the end I have no piercing because it was a botched piercing and the holes are not aligned AT ALL. Waste of $50. Waste of pain. Waste of my time. Read Less

I really love this shop. I have gotten a few little tattoo by Haley. She has also done a few bigger pieces on my Fiancé. We are always extremely happy and feel taken care of. It is always clean and the other people there always really nice and down to earth. I have been in a few shops in the past where I didn't feel as welcomed or as comfortable. Which is a huge deal when getting a tattoo. I think Haley is incredibly talented. She is professional and very sweet. She has done quite a few tattoos for people I know. One of my co workers had a very bad garage back/shoulder tattoo and went to Haley after I very highly recommended her. Her tattoo now is gorgeous and brought new life to it. I have been an epidemic customer for 8 years and have never been disappointed. Justin does all my tattoos and I can trust him with any idea that I have. This place is in my mind the best tattoo parlor in SoCal. My wife and I went in here and had an idea of what we wanted and told our Artist, Justin. Within a couple days he drew out a design for our half sleeves. They were AWESOME!!!! All the artists in here are very professional and friendly, and the shop is ridiculously clean. Justin did an awesome job and I will post pics of both of our tattoos as soon as they have healed. Justin was not rough at all, and i actually fell asleep in the chair a couple times. So I had been wanting to get an upper back piece for quite a while now. My brother gets alot of his work done by David Rivera, so I went in and talked to David about what I wanted. I was clueless. All I knew was that I wanted all traditional Japanese art, with a female samurai in the center of the piece, under my previous tattoo of the Japanese rising sun. When I came back in for my appointment, he had drawn up an amazing looking female samurai, exactly how I pictured. He said he was going to freehand the rest in marker on my back, which I was very excited about. It took about 4 hours for the outline, and it barely hurt. You can bet I was so nervous about this whole thing the whole time, because it covers my whole upper back, shoulder to shoulder. Now, I cant stop looking at it in the mirror, because of how well it was done. Very detailed, clean, original, and creative. I fall in love with it more and more everyday, and its only the outline! I cant wait to go back for my next session and for some color! Oh, and this place is very clean, and they make you feel right at home! David is great! Epidemic Tattoos is a decent place, but if they are giving you a tattoo that incorporates writing you had better make sure they don't mis-spell anything. "Phil" did my tattoo the day before i left California and after I left, I noticed he had mis_spelled a word. I called them the next day and they agreed to fix it after it healed......keep in mind I was leaving California the very next day. I asked, can you just give me my money back and I'll get it fixed somewhere else? He said, they couldn't do it. You may ask, Why did I not check it. Phil said he had personally done the exact same tattoo to 7 other people within the last couple days and after he put the stencil on me he checked again to make sure the spelling was accurate.  The word that he mis-spelled was a word VERY common in the Marine Corps, and Temecula is what, 25 minutes away from Camp Pendleton? Thats absolutely crap Epidemic. If I were a Marine on Camp Pendleton, or anywhere for that matter, i would never go to this place. Read Less
