Waited an hour for the piercer. She was not a really great piercer she didn't clip the belly button before trying to pierce and took a VERY long time to get the needle through the skin almost 25 seconds. This made it a very miserable and painful experience. Read Less

A man pierced me he was very nice and reassuring but pierced my belly button way too deep it sank inside of me and I had to take it out and when he pierced my industrial he completely missed my cartilage and pierced the small amount of fat around my ear and now my piercing is hanging by a thread off my ear. I have had three tattoos done here now. Each time I've gone there, the staff has been polite, patient and listened to what I was asking for and put absolutely no pressure on me. The prices are very reasonable and both tattoo artists Zack and Stevie were very friendly talented and professional. They have both done exceptional quality work for me and I couldn't be happier. I didn't get a piercing or tattoo here, so take this for what it is. I came to get a piercing I had done at a place in tracy evaluated because I thought it was getting impacted. The clerk said he would inform the piercer but never left the desk. After 30 minutes of waiting in a cramped waiting area wherein there are only 3 chairs and 2 horrendously uncomfortable stools that sit basically in the walkway, I asked how long it would take. The clerk didn't know at all he just said there were 3 people in the room with the piercer already and it would probably be a while. I ended up taking my business elsewhere. I don't know the quality of the piercing or tattooing but beware, the wait may be long. Read Less

Nipple piercing: I love the atmosphere of this place, Marco at the front desk was supper helpful & handled the madness of how busy that place is. Biagio pierced my nipples, he did such a great job. Went today wanting my nose pierced wasn't sure of what side. Biagio helped me decide and you can tell he knew what he was talking about. So i haven't been here in some years and when i first went there it was a really good experience. Today was no different, I went in and had the Medusa piercing done. My piercer Biagio (sorry about spelling wasn't sure if it was an i or L lol) was awesome. While setting up he made me feel comfortable with a little conversation and during the piercing he made sure i was still ok seeing  tears was just falling from both of my eyes. I trusted his judgement in placement and his accuracy of the placement is on point. I honestly love my piercing and will be back to get more from him. Thank you soooooo much and see you next time. Went in with a friend to get my nipples pierced. It was my first time in this establishment, she was a returning customer. Very chill ambiance, and very clean shop. Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. I hadn't had any piercings done in over 10 years, but Biagio, my piercer, made me feel right at home. These guys are a class act. They are classy in a down to earth way... Young, but not hipster which is cool to find in this line of work. The big guy whose heavy-lifting trophies are up on the wall, is the owner of the establishment. He is obviously an expert at what he does because you can feel his familiarity and ease at poking holes in you... I would say he's been doing this for so long that he's become kind of a minimalist in his approach to piercing. The Italian guy, Giovanni (smooth as Tennessee whiskey) is more generous in his approach, left me feeling quite nurtured.  There is a younger lady there that I sense has less experience, maybe apprenticing, she didn't pierce me, but she has great energy and sort of balances the whole thing out.   They did a great job decorating, painting, eye candy etc. they are all extremely personable and skilled. Got my piercing done by a girl here. She wasn't very nice from the beginning. I went back to talk to her about how the piercing was too small and if I could get hoops or a bigger one. *Nipple Piercing Review*Pricing for both nips was $50. Very affordable. I believe my piercer was Angie. I told her I didn't have cash on me and will be back to get some cash. She told me since she already set things up, she was going to allow me to get it done first. She was fast and efficient. Great placement and I can tell it's going to heal great! The only reason why I gave it a four star was because she was not so affirmative about how to clean it or how to take care of it. Other than that it was a fast, easy process. I've gotten my industrial and nostril piercings done by Angel at In 2 Skin and she really seems to know what she's doing. This shop is very hygienic and always makes sure that your piercings are exactly where they need to be and where you want them. Aftercare instructions could be a little more detailed, but I'm very confident that if you had any questions, they'd be more than willing to help. *Ear piercing review* Horrible customer service.. it was completely absent tbh.  Front counter girl took our IDs to photocopy & that was the extent to her helpfulness. Asked questions regarding piercing placement and jewelry -she said to ask the piercing lady..Okayyy.. Asked the other lady some questions and once again- completely NOT helpful!  Asked for a mirror & they stood there blank faced - I had to bust out my phone instead. At this point you can imagine how frustrated I am. My sis & I were SO close to walking out w/o anything because we felt an unwelcome vibe. In no way am I asking the ladies to flaunt a smile or have a nice conversation w/me  -but doesn't a litttttttle bit of their job description entail them to be helpful & welcoming to patrons? Even while sitting in the room, she didn't go over much info regarding the piercing & aftercare - I had to iniate all of the questions really. =_= Was attracted by the awesome yelp reviews but I would gladly pay more in the future for a better experience elsewhere -even if I have to go out of town.  I wouldn't suggest this place for an ear piercing at all -newbies beware.   tl;dr: No customer service. In 2 Skin is located in a quaint, little house in the residential area of Pacific. What they lack in size, they make up for in cleanliness and hospitality -- everything here screams sterile and professional!I've purchased tattoos quite a few times, all done by the extremely talented Dan Zapata. Fair prices, great work, all around a good experience. I've even had jewelry put in here (unsure of who did it, she's the only lady at the shop and she was very kind)!Reason for 4 stars being I got my septum pierced, not by aforementioned lady, and it's extremely crooked and a bit low. He might've been an apprentice considering I had never seen him @ the shop before. Other than that isolated experience, I love this place and the people who run it! I heard about this place through a friend who had gotten her tattoo done by Dan. She sent me his number and I texted him about two tattoos: one for me and one for another friend. He was really good with responding and his prices were incredible! My friend and I went in a few days after I had initially texted him since he told me he would be free at 7. Upon going in, I didn't know that we needed to make appointments at the shop, which closed at 8. Dan was working on another person at 7, but he stayed and tattooed my friend and I after hours. He was super chill, easy to talk to, and works fast. The script took less than 30 mins and the crescent moon took around 10 mins. For the script he charged $80 and for the moon he charged $40. He also gave my friend a discount since she's in the military, so hers was only $60. We'll definitely be back if/when we want more. Read Less
