I had one of my best, if not the best, tattoo experiences at Tattoo BonBon. I was hoping to get a tattoo of a pine cone and moon for some time, but was having artistic difficulties making something I'd love. So, I stopped by at 6:59 to see if I could make an appointment for the next day but Ricket was passionate and excited about sketching and doing the tattoo that day after the shop had 'officially' closed. I felt super welcomed, accepted, and satisfied by the attitude, cleanliness, and work of the shop. Would hands down go there again if I'm in the area and desiring another tattoo. Also, I'm not sure how Tahoe prices go but ~120 for the tattoo I got would be more than reasonable for the Bay Area/NYC where I'm from. This is the only place I will be getting my tattoos.  Eleanor and Rickett are down to earth and amazing artists that absolutely not only know what they are doing but they are fantastic at what they do.  The shop is beautiful, inviting and very clean.  My husband and I wanted matching-ish tattoos and didn't know how to make them a little bit different from each other and the suggestions given made them unique and so beautiful.  I have several tattoos but this one is my favorite.  Thank you guys so much.  I will recommend you to everyone I know. I have a few tattoos, two of them were done by Rickett and one by Eleanor.  The best artwork I own, and I get to carry it with me everywhere.  Phenomenal almost doesn't seem like an accurate descriptor of these artist's skills.  Amazing?  Awesome?  Amaz-Craze?  I don't know.  Very professional, very friendly, very clean.  You should also ask about their paintings, because they're pretty mind blowing.Pros:Amazing artists, Super friendly, a fun place to get your artwork done, you definitely get your money's worth.Cons:People will probably stop you in the street to ask where you found such amazing tattoo artists. Eleanor and her husband Rickett are absolute professionals. The shop has a modern art gallery aesthetic mixed with almost like a victorian gothic feel. I have over 50 tattoos and got my first in 98' - Eleanor hand drew and tattooed my most special - my favourite. A classic looking rabbit to represent my daughter. She was extremely patient. Eleanor is such an ARTIST! The new shop she and her husband designed is just beautiful. Very private and decorated in a very unique manner. I received my very first tattoo from Eleanor earlier this year and on this visit my daughter received her first tattoo for her 18th birthday. Beautifully designed exactly what my daughter was looking for and Eleanor took the time to get it spot on perfect. She is such a wonderful person also and really truly enjoys her job and the people that she shares her art and skill with. She truly made this a memorable experience for my daughter. So I have been truly blessed to have this monumental artist my life. I met her at a young age, teenage years, we bonded on life, love, personal freedoms and of course her art. Don't let her be modest, she was taught watercolor at an early age and also got a scholarship at CCA which people can brag about going to but does not bring their work to the table. It has all lended to her amazing painterly style that sets her out among the rest. She did some portraits of me that captured the essence of the time. That's just it, she will sit down with you, talk life, Synchronicity, it's all about the experience, and she can intuitively read and honor what it is her client wants. I loved my experience at tattoo Bonbon with Eleanor!! From designing my tattoo to actually placing needle to skin, Eleanor was so involved and took pride in her work throughout the whole process! Eleanor is nothing short of amazing!!! I have been going to her for several years now and she has proudly customized and inked me up with beautiful pieces of art! I can't stress enough how professional, friendly, talented, clean, meticulous, awesome, amazing, and kick-ass she is!! I refuse to ever go to another place for my tattoo work. I live in Sparks, NV and will gladly trek the commute to go see her. She does such a fantastic job in any form of art you're looking for, especially portraits.
