This place is WAAAAY better than you would assume for being in Simi. You really don't have to go to NoHo for solid work. I've been getting tattooed at TTR for eight years now and I can't believe I haven't given them their very well deserved 5-star rating yet. The shop is always impeccably clean, proper procedure is always followed to a T and it's without a doubt the best environment I've experienced at any tattoo place. My Wife made an appointment for 3 weeks from when she called originally. She called the next day to cancel the appointment which again was for over 3 weeks away and they said they would not give back the $50 deposit. Then when i went to call a few days later the disrespectful guy on the phone said and i quote"Hey Man, F*** You!" then hung up!. I own my own successful business and i would never treat a potential customer in that manner especially over something silly like a $50 deposit.I will not remove this review for I was cussed out and hung up on. I did indeed ask if you were in the business of thievery. I was lucky enough to get tattooed by Jason. I got an itch to add to my arm and I called to see if maybe there was an opening for later. They had an opening, NOW. So I went in. I was taking a risk, because I knew none of his work but honestly, I wasn't worried. I gave him a picture of the tattoo and told him to fix it up and add his own touch. He did and he did a great job. Jason Smith tattooed me on two separate occasions. He was incredibly kind, made me feel comfortable, and did clean line work with vibrant coloring that held good in my skin and still looks beautiful. I get compliments from strangers on all of the work on a regular basis thanks to the good people of The Tattoo Room. Love the vibe in the studio. Super clean! I was tattooed by Heather and she was awesome. She was ery patient with me selecting the proper positioning of the artwork, made some adjustments to the art and really listened to me when I explained what I wanted. She is gentle and does not rush through the tattoo. We went for 4 hours straight with just two 5 minute breaks and she stayed over for me to make sure my piece was completed. I had my tattoo done by Heather yesterday. This was my first tattoo, so I was very nervous going in, as I wasn't sure what to expect. Throughout the experience Heather was very attentive towards me and constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable. When she saw that I was hurting a lot from the needles, she applied a topical anesthetic, which made the rest of the experience way more bearable. As a result, my first tattoo experience was well worth the time and money. I am not sure if I will get more tattoos in the future, but if I do, I would come here again. To me that would be like collecting only Van Gogh and ignoring Picasso. This is a great place to get your tattoos . I live in las vegas only . I go back to Heather in cal for my tattoos . That should say alot because if anyone who has come to vegas know there is shops here by the hand full. I won't go anywhere else or anyone else. This is a GREAT tattoo shop! The place is very welcoming and not intimidating like other tattoo shops. It is very clean and organized. My family and I have been coming here for a few years now and can easily say that all the artists do excellent quality work and we are really pleased with the level of care and how they make sure you are comfortable throughout the process. I just had my first tattoo experience with Heather at The Tattoo Shop. Without going into detail, the shop was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. I had gone in about a month earlier as I had a concept but no drawing. I talked to Heather who made some suggestions and worked up the drawing. Although I did not give her much detail, her drawing was exactly what I was looking It's possible that we just happened to be on the same page, but some artists have an ability seemingly to channel what a person is thinking into their art. As mine is a failry large tattoo, we have to do a couple of sessions. I have only done the first session. Heather got right to work and was very professional. She did not waste any time and was really focused on what she was doing. She finished the outline and some of the color. At each stage of the process, I like the tattoo better and better. Getting a tattoo is not a trivial matter, and is definately something that must be done right the first time. I am very happy I put my faith in Heather and The Tattoo Shop. Read Less

I had a great experience with Tonya.I got a traditional style swallow and locket tattoo.I love it! It's lovely and I'm so happy with it.She is super nice and we had really nice conversation.
