Summer is amazing! This is a small shop, and the artists are super focused on their clients. You can tell they that they care about making people happy and providing a positive experience.I got my ear lobes pierced when I was a kid and they were uneven. I've wanted a second piercing for a long time, but hesitant because of the previous screwup.  Summer took her time, made sure everything was lined-up/spaced correctly and was very professional. She explained everything in detail and was very diligent about a sterile piercing process. I've been back twice to switch them while they heal (trying different colors) and both times where as good as the first. She knows what she is doing, dedicated to quality/cleanliness and just an extremely nice person. If I do more piercings, definitely going back to her. Read Less

Drove from Rohnert Park, when we arrived (after calling and getting no response besides the message on the phone saying they were open till 7 and just busy.) the shop was closed and had a posted sign that said they closed at 6 but I called before 6 and got no answer. a simple "hey were closing early" on the phone would have saved a drive if they were still open like the sign, voicemail, and website say they were. I know piercing shops and tattoo parlors have flexible hours due to the artistic lifestyle most in the industry lead but this was unprofessional and disappointing. Read Less

I just got my tongue pierced by wonderful Summer over at matchless tattoo, everything about this place is the bomb, the atmosphere is very awesome from the paper mache cranes hanging from the ceiling to the incense burning, was fast and easy and well priced, alot of really cool jewelry to chose from, I would definatly reccomend to a friend. Mike was amazing! He was recommended by a few friends for detailed floral work. I contacted him through FB messenger to talk about what I/we wanted and if he was available the weekend my best friend was coming out from Colorado. He went over and above our expectations- taking extra time to make sure both of our tattoos were perfect and getting them both done in one day despite them taking longer than he had anticipated. Mike is a good artist, but a bad person. He never finished his apprentiship, was fired for his antics, is a letch, charges for smoke breaks, has had multiple complaints for sexual harassment over the years, is pretty much a laughing stock in the tattoo community, and has stolen money from me.There are better artists who are also decent people. Love coming to talk and get piercing from Summer. She is very professional and very knowledgeable in regards to piercings. She is always easy to talked to, helpful with wound care and also selling the product. I have both my daiths pierced and have had a great experience with them. Let me tell you a story about myself. I was stuck in a dark room about 6 to 7 days a week do to migraine headaches. I was taking the e.r. meds all the time that my doctor's prescribed to me all t...he time. It was costing me thousands of dollars a month. I did a lot reasearch on permanent acupuncture and found information on piercing the daith. I love Matchless! I have been a few different times for a nose piercing, a few ear piercings, and jewelry changes. The staff is absolutely amazing! Great shop! I've had my septum done 3 times previously and had been thinking of getting it done again; I work less than a block away so I decided to check this place out. Summer is just tooo great, honestly phenomenal. She was full of insight and information, and was super personable as well. I am used to shops that want to get people in and out as fast as possible--a nostril and navel assembly line, if you will. But at Matchless, Summer took her time to make sure that her work was fully sterile and top quality. And on too of all that, she checked out my nose and recommended re-stretching my existing piercing rather than re-piercing it--a much less invasive and a much less expensive option. Jess is a fantastic piercer. She practices super clean and efficiently. She pierced my 7-year-old daughter's ears this past week and we were thrilled with the care she gave her. She spoke to her in a way that was effective and yet at her level and impressed the importance of aftercare on her without scaring her. She was patient and talked through the entire process with my daughter - even though she cried, she said she wasn't ever scared. That is huge for making an impression on getting your ears pierced for a kid! She also placed some new jewelry for me and I LOVED the quality of the piece. I remember when Matchless first moved to the new location, I needed a lip ring and ran in on my way to the beach. I met Summer briefly and thought, if I ever get another piercing this is where I'll go. The shop is clean and the aquarium in the wait room, the deep blue paint, and the paper cranes give a super soothing vibe.I came in yesterday on 11/11 to pick Summers brain on the Pros and Cons of a nipple piercing. I wasn't sure I was going to get it. I was really annoying and questioned her and sat around thinking for what felt like a half hour. Summer did not get impatient with me, she didn't try to talk me into it. She laid out the pros and cons, told me a bit about her experience piercing that area and the healing process. She even gave me advice on my twice rejected belly piercing. She was super supportive, understanding and kind.I decided to get it done! Summer was very professional, the private room we were was sterile, she took her time getting the symmetry on the entrance/exit spots just right. The piercing itself was quick and relatively painless (you know, for jabbing metal through your nip), it looks gorgeous! She told me to come back in 4 weeks for a jewelry change, and wrote the date out for me! We talked a lot about jewelry and aftercare. She didn't try to push their aftercare spray line like some shops do, just explained why it's helpful. Overall I had an incredible experience. I have been to matchless 3 times over the last 6 months for a total of 12 hours of tattooing with Mike, and i hope to sit with him for another 12+ hours. SUMMER IS THE BEST!!! I'm so happy with my piercings they are a dream come true! Mike is the only artist I trust entirely to put ink in my skin. He's done 4 tattoos for me so far, one of which is my entire right leg. Out of the 10 tattoos I've got so far, the 4 of his are by far my favorites, and the ones I get complemented on the most!
