The actual work is quite good. I like the results. BUT...very weak on business skills.  You come when she tells you, no flexibility on scheduling.   She quoted me a  price, then charged me $50 more--explained that the price INCLUDED one additional visit three weeks after the work to make any adjustments--and the 3 week appointment was again set by her, no flexibility.  When I called to cancel my check up visit a few hours before because of a last minute change in my work schedule, she was shockingly rude.  Her response was personal ("It's pretty bad of you to say you are coming and then to cancel.  I'm not obligated to give you any courtesy call to remind you.  You're wasting my time, I can't fill this hour") and unprofessional ("I have a 48 hour cancellation fee and I'm going to charge you for this").   To the proprietress: These things happen and there was no need to be a rude  b****.   That was immature and unprofessional.  And yes,  cancellation charges are very normal, but how do you justify charging me for cancelling an appointment that I paid for in advance?  I didn't "waste" your time, you got paid in advance for an hour of your time that I didn't use.  You profited, you didn't lose.  I suggest that next time you think before you speak.  You could have had a good reference. A friend recommended Suzanne.  I had not really considered permanent make-up until my friend raved about the results she enjoys with Suzanne.I wanted to have  eye liner applied primarily because I am too lazy to do it myself.    Scheduling was easy and Suzanne carefully explained the flow of the treatment and recovery.Her salon is gorgeous, convenient and serene.  I immediately felt at home with Suzanne and appreciated her professional yet personable attention to detail.She has developed her own method for alleviating the pain associated with the treatment and was very attentive to my comfort.I am very happy with my results and highly recommend Suzanne`s skill and artistry. I had to post the photo of one of my 2 double winged eyebrows that I am now stuck with for life. I went to Suzanne after hearing how professional she was. I went to have her fix a problem I had that was doable but she decided to also change the shape of my brow. Problem was she added a wing without thinking things through. Though she assured me it was possible that she could to get rid of a 25 year old dark colored tattoo by using flesh colored ink, she was wrong. When I called after the fact, I was ignored, then treated with such a cold indifference then shut down. I made an appointment with someone else, and was told that the only way to get 25 year old dark ink off was to have it laser removed but that couldn't be done because Suzanne covered mine with flesh colored ink and that this would turn the whole area darker. I have found a great woman, Michelle Whiteside in San Rafael, who was able to do a lot to make things better and my eyebrows look great in the area that needed fixing but I now have 2 wings that are going to be with me forever. I was not reimbursed for this disaster, or anything. BEWARE!  The reputation does not match the work. Another lady who walked in after me wondered why I didn't have a natural brush stroked look which Suzanne said she did. What a nightmare! Read Less

Suzanne is an amazing artist and does beautiful work. I fell in love with Suzanne and felt at ease right away. Suzanne is professional, calming and extremely talented. I trusted her completely. She did eyeliner on my upper and lower lids. I had brought in an eyeliner that I use regularly to show her the color I liked. She made some suggestions based on what I shared and showed me what the liner would look like. I like that Suzanne used a numbing agent as she worked on me. It made the whole procedure very tolerable.   I LOVE LOVE LOVE the results and cannot recommend Suzanne enough. Suzanne is an amazingly talented artist. I was looking for someone to do permanent lash enhancement. I like the way I look with mascara, but hate that I always end up with raccoon eyes. After I read all the great reviews here on Yelp, I felt safe and secure entrusting this permanent alteration to my face in her capable hands. And it was the best decision I've made in a long time!  She did a remarkable job. I was scared the change would be too dramatic; I didn't want to look too "made up." Suzanne is just amazing. I interviewed several permanent makeup artists and she is by far the best. She is very thorough about explaining the whole thing to a first timer, and draws it out first so you can see what it will look like. The actual process doesn't hurt at all, and she has a lovely and calm salon. Her salon was pristine, she listened to my requests, shared her expertise and gave me an accurate idea of what my brows would look like when the process was finished. I am a 65 year-old woman whose face seemed to be "disappearing". Suzanne did permanent eyeliner and "lipstick" for me, and I am delighted. She is gentle, thorough and professional, and the results are amazing. I like that she is a fine artist as well as a tattoo artist, and it shows in her work. The hair on my body is very fair and she listened to my concerns that the tattooing wouldn't look natural.
