My bestie and I went to the shop to get tattoos from Viv... The shop was clean, and cool (very hot outside) We got very similar tatts due to the fact we got them in honor of our dear friend Robin. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. So we both got the pink cancer ribbon, with different designs on our ankles... Doc Bones is a true professional. I have been patiently waiting (13 years) for everything to come together just the right way, as what I want tattoo wise is directly tied to sentiment. Bones offered great feedback on the design, did great art, and as far as scheduling and communication goes is in my opinion more professional than most people I come across on a day to day basis. Came in to get a tattoo, brought my service dog with me. I have the dog for health reasons and need to bring him with me everywhere. I was asked to show his tags- which legally you can't ask- then I was told I needed to leave because the shop could get fined due to my dog. Not happy with the service Read Less

I got a custom skull & cross bones tattoo by Fury on the back of my neck over 15 years ago while traveling thru Santa Rosa. Still looks clean and unfaded. I can only imagine he's gotten better. I also got my first piercing, my bridge, when I came through. Though Fury didn't do my piercing. Oh, nostalgia! I highly recomend him as an artist and his shop. Read Less

I loved my experience here so much I'll be a faithful regular. Bones was my guy and he came as a referral to me by a long time friend for getting my belly re-pierced. I was concerned because I'd had it pierced twice before and there is some serious scar tissue there now. After talking to him about my concerns, he seemed to really know his stuff and immediately put me at ease, so I knew it was where I'd be going for that. Before I made it up there to do it, however, a new tattoo idea came up which took precedence. I noticed he had been tattooing over 25 years!  Well, need I say more?  I went to him, he ROCKED IT with cleanliness, professionalism, gentleness (if that's possible in all the pain of a tattoo on your lower belly -- oww), and total expertise.  I felt so cared for and the artwork is even better than I'd hoped for.  It's beyond perfect!  I have no need to ever go to anyone else for my body art or piercing needs.  I found my artist for life -- he's THAT good.  Sooooo happy with my experience all around.  Cannot recommend this shop or Bones enough.
