Nineteen years ago I got my second tattoo at the previous incarnation of Monkey Wrench in Santa Rosa, & I was interested to see how the shop and artists have changed since then. Two days ago, I called the shop & spoke to Wes who was both kind and professional, & he encouraged me to come to the shop to book or be tattooed since appointments require deposits. Before going in, I went to the website to check out the art (which is clearly skilled), but what really caught my attention were the hilarious artist bios. Go to the website. Read the bios. I wanted a raspberry to match my daughter's birthmark, & Monet was easy to talk to in relationship to my desired details for the quarter sized piece. Monet tattooed with a light hand, and her work was clean, precise, & exactly what I wanted. It was an overall pleasant process, & I felt more than happy with the customer service, facilities, process, & tattoo. Side note, bring cash as it's a cash only studio. Oops, I messed up & had to run to an ATM. Read Less
