Great shop!! I went to Felipe for a semi-complicated piece, Carl Sagan's Pulsar Map. Lots of small precise lines. I have worked with Felipe before and he handled it like a boss. Decided on a whim to get a tat while on vacation in Santa Cruz.  Reached out to Good Omen, and they were able to get me in on short notice.  Very cool vibe and atmosphere! I got a tattoo with my brother on a little trip to santa cruz. I can't remember the artists name but he was super professional. Everything was super clean. Tim and the crew are awesome!Tim knocked out my forearm in 6.5 hours with a small break in between (we split a pizza... both of us were drained).  My gf was getting a tat from Felipe at the same time and the banter between the crew is hilarious.  All of them do great work.Prices are fair for the quality of work they do.  Cheap tattoos aren't good and good tattoos aren't cheap.And go buy lunch or dinner at Tim's Jamaican Diner! This is a fantastic shop with a great staff! I came in this past weekend to get my first tattoo and Heather was accepting walk-ins. I had been considering this tattoo for the last few months but was nervous as to how it would come out. All I had to do was send an email with a Word document attached and voila! - Heather KILLED it! She was really nice about easing me into the process of getting tatted and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The script looks exactly the way I wanted it and the peace sign accent looks amazing. I couldn't be happier and it's healing up perfectly! She also offers a sort of "lifetime warranty" for any touch up work you might need which I thought was an incredibly generous thing to include.Good Omen is a kickass business and I would definitely recommend them to a friend! My experience here could not have been better. The vicinity itself is nicely decorated and rustic feeling, and the tattooing stations are clean and very comfortable. I decided to go to Good Omen for my first tattoo on my 18th birthday and I'm so glad I did. Felipe is truly an artist, and I definitely won't be able to stop looking at this beautiful tattoo for quite some time. He was so kind and accommodating and stayed WAY past closing to finish my tattoo. I feel very lucky to have had this great of customer service and such a wonderful experience altogether. The shop has a relaxed and friendly vibe and Heather's work comes guaranteed (with free lifetime touch ups if needed). No newbie to tattoos. Not naive to the pain.  For me the artist and ambiance have to be just right or it's not going to work. I was in town to celebrate a friends birthday and we wanted to get new tattoos.  We were checking out reviews and Good Omen Tattoo kept coming up.  We said to ourselves if it was meant to be it would be at Good Omen.  I called and spoke with Tim.  Instantly the personality clicked.  Then scheduling clicked.  Exchanged a few ideas and set. Tim was able to take us earlier and was stoked.  The studio, the other artists personalities all clicked.  I sat down and am stunned at the outcome.  My friend needed a little cover work and expanded art....also....He killed it on every level.  SUPER excited and couldn't be happier with the experience and our new tattoos. So this is a little late. In January - I was researching tattoo shops in the area, looking for my first tattoo.  I wanted to start with a decent size tattoo and I  wanted to make sure my 1st experience was a good one.  Not only did I want a good tattoo artist, but someone I could connect/relate to on some level.  So looking at yelp reviews, I decide to go talk to Good Omen Tattoos on pricing, black vs color ink, big vs small size tattoo, pain level of areas, etc..I came in with my wife and was met by Tattoo Artist Heather.  She was able to answer my questions and made some suggestions as well.  I was very pleased with her assistance and made an appointment for the next day. We came back the next day and went over placement, size, and couple different options for my tattoo that I had emailed her yesterday after I left.   Once we started the tattoo, Heather made sure that I felt comfortable from the start and throughout the process.  This made me feel good, since it was my first tattoo and not knowing exactly what to expect.   Heather conversed with my wife and myself throughout our time with her, which made the time go by faster.   She went over how to care for the tattoo and what to expect in the following days.  She also told me to call her, text, or email with any questions. Which made me feel a lot better.  I did text her a couple times just to double check I was doing alright with caring for the tattoo and how it was looking. Just a day ago my friend found out that her mother was diagnosed with bone cancer. Her mother has four days before they start her treatment. And my friend and her mom decided that they would get matching tattoos to keep their bond strong and supportive during her cancer treatment. The problem is that most tattoo artists are booked up for months in advance. I called the shop and let them know what was happening. And they took care of us. Heather was awesome! She made time in your busy schedule and was very kind and supportive to my dear friend and her mother. Thank you thank you thank you! So yes. I wish I could give six stars. Felipe took me in last minute and worked with me to create a floral piece for my thigh. We looked up pictures and he put together a gorgeous image for me!During the many hours it took to complete my tattoo, Felipe kept conversation going and was hilarious and personable. I had the most amazing experience at good omen tattoo... i was in town for my grandmothers funeral and wanted to get a little something done to tribute her. Tim was amazing! i have had a tattoo done on my foot before and my friends had to hold it down. Tim had such a light hand also combined with the type of machine he used i didnt flinch once.. the place was very clean and they were sooooooo nice! i live all the way in ventura and am already planning on emailing tim so i can go back for my sleeve!!
